70 HOUR OF PRAYER - 2021

Greetings, ". . .for, behold, he prayeth,. . . "   Acts 9:11 "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, . . . "  Revelation 1:10 ". . . praying in the Holy Ghost"   Jude v.20 "Elijah. . . he prayed earnestly. . . And he prayed again"  James 5:17 - 18 "Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able. . . ."   Hebrews 5:7 It is a treasure trove of these verses, when God's men prayed.  Each one of the above verses, in their unique place, prayed.  The command is throughout all of Scripture - Pray.  The church was birthed in prayer, covered in prayer and Spirit filled because someone prayed.  'And the place was shaken and they were filled when they had prayed'.  Each moment of God's Divine Manifest Presence has come upon His church for help, revival, leadings, deliverance, because He set His people to pray.  The great promises are found in th

PRAYER EMAIL - OCTOBER 23

Greetings, "Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord, Alas for the day!  for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come."   Joel 1:14 - 15 It is a alarming to see all that is happening.  It is overwhelming to see the handwriting on the wall from the Lord in regards to our nation, future and the church.  Yet, unlike the King of Babylon, who trembled and feared at the hand of God writing on that wall, there is little fear and trembling before God for what is happening and what is about to happen.  Even the Egyptians cried out as they crossed the Red Sea and said, 'The Lord fights for them and against us", as the chariots wheels God was causing to fall off.    Watching and beholding the Lord move against our nation, against the church (let judgement begin at the house of God) and against our families is horrifying

Broken Before the Throne - 70 Hours of Prayer

Greetings, "The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.  He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him:  He also will hear their cry, and will save them."    Psalm 145:18 - 19 Right before covid exploded upon our nation and the world, God led many across the churches to engage in 'continuous praying".  Many of us joined those efforts of prayer and continued in 80 straight hours of prayer, in the fall of 2019.  At the close of that same year, 2019, we closed the year out into the New Year with 100 hours of continuous prayer.   God is speaking again and calling His people to pray, in this manner.  As the old saint said, 'Before God does anything, He sets His people to prayer."   The thought of that may horrify us or cause us great rejoicing.    Many of us have sought the Lord, for many decades, for a real revival to fall upon the church and make us what we are supposed to be for His glory.  But as the covid plague

THE ACTIVITY OF GOD IN THE BIBLE - JOHN - CHAPTER 15 - 21 PART III

The Activity of God Going through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, phrase by phrase and word by word to give attention to the following: --the Names of God; --the word & deeds of God; --the sayings of God; --the attributes of God; Too often the churches weakness and the Christians weakness is found in this one sin, 'we do not know God'.  We have not studied the Bible, nor Him to learn more of Him.  Seeking that this might be a help for myself and others in this pursuit that each of us 'may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord. JOHN Chapter 15 15:1        I am the true vine, and My Father is the husbandman.      Christ is the true vine;  God the Father is the husbandman;  Christs' Father; 15:2      Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away:  and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, taht it may bring forth more fruit.      Christ to have branch in Him, HIs servants; God the Father takes away those that bear no

PRAYER EMAIL - OCTOBER 16

Greetings, "And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness."   Acts 4:31 "It was the best of times. . ."  -  they prayed, they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and the Word went forth with boldness.  "It was the worst of times. . . "  -  we have the same possibility, but we are so far from this.   They prayed; all were filled.   Today, few pray, and few are filled with the Holy Ghost.    It is the greatest priority and need of the church for this hour, that we should pray and be filled with the Holy Ghost.  For, far too long, we have labored in the strength of our right arms; our initiatives, our methods and means; we have practiced humanism.  Humanism, in my definition, is operating, thinking and functioning under the power of men/self, rather God.  It is a replacement of God.  And it is the greatest sin of the church in Ameri

PASTORS RESPONSE TO RECENT EVENTS IN OUR PUBLIC SCHOOL IN MINERAL COUNTY

A RESPONSE FROM LOCAL PASTORS & CHURCHES REGARDING TRANSGENDER ISSUE WITHIN OUR SCHOOL SYSTEM: We understand that in recent weeks, an ongoing issue has been raised in our local high school, Keyser High.  This is not the first such incident in our county, state or community.   A female, in recent months has taken up the 'fad' of our society to identify as a male.  And has pushed for her rights to use the 'Men's Bathroom".   We understand that the high school administration has worked to accommodate her and others that identify as transgenders, by offering another bathroom for their use.  They have  refused that, in order to push their agenda, contrary to efforts to mediate this controversy. We, as local pastors, and churches have had to watch such choices, court cases and legislation that supports all that which is contrary to God's Word, God's ways and God's will, and continues to advance in our nation, states, counties and cities such sin.    Thes

PRAYER EMAIL - OCTOBER 2

Greetings, "Consider ye and call for the mourners. . . that they may come. . . And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.. . . Yet hear the word of the Lord. . . teach them all wailing and lamentation.  For death is come up into our windows, and is entered in. . . to cut off the children from without and the young men from the streets."    Jeremiah 9:17 - 21 Consider. . . .call. . . . cry .   I think this is three C's that will preach, if the Spirit so moves.  Coming through Jeremiah 9 in "A Word" devotional/commentary blog and was much moved by this 4th section in this chapter.   God is speaking through Jeremiah to the remaining people of Judah and Jerusalem.  Israel had been removed to captivity over a 100 years ago; now Judah was being stricken by God for their great rebellion and abominations against Him.   God had sent His prophets and warned them and called them to re
