CALL TO PRAYER - APRIL 21

 Greetings, "Why criest thou for thine affliction?  thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity:  because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee."   Jeremiah 30:15 Great sorrow, and great lamentation over this verse, in light of what it says about our nation and the state of the church.  Judah had done this to themselves, with the increase of their sins and iniquities.  God had warned them that this great affliction and sorrow would come upon them, if they continued to refuse Him and His Divine mercies of invitation.  And now God asks them, 'why are you crying? you did this to yourself.'   Brethren, we continue to face the greatest alarms for our nation, homes and the state of the church.  And our one great weapon of warfare, PRAYER, continues to be minimized and retreated from in far too many churches and Christian lives.  Facing such things should bring us before the throne more, and with more urgency and fervency.   So once more
