Broken Before the Throne - 70 Hours of Prayer

 Greetings,

"The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.  He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him:  He also will hear their cry, and will save them."   
Psalm 145:18 - 19

Right before covid exploded upon our nation and the world, God led many across the churches to engage in 'continuous praying".  Many of us joined those efforts of prayer and continued in 80 straight hours of prayer, in the fall of 2019.  At the close of that same year, 2019, we closed the year out into the New Year with 100 hours of continuous prayer.   God is speaking again and calling His people to pray, in this manner.  As the old saint said, 'Before God does anything, He sets His people to prayer."   The thought of that may horrify us or cause us great rejoicing.   

Many of us have sought the Lord, for many decades, for a real revival to fall upon the church and make us what we are supposed to be for His glory.  But as the covid plague taught us, God was getting ready to judge the nations in a way that this generation has never known.   The evil that has increased since those prayer meetings of 2019, is increasing at an alarming rate.  The battle is more fiercer, the happenings are more wicked and the impact has never been greater for what is at stake.  "When evil comes in like a flood, God raises up a standard against it. . ."  Isaiah 59.

Thus, I am inviting you to join me in this call for prayer at the close of this month.  We will still set our 100 hours of prayer for the end of the year, but for right now, there must be a cry rising up before the Lord for His Divine help and leading.  
I am asking of you, and I know it is only a week away and short notice, that you would join us to take time slots to pray for the nation, the church and hear what the Spirit is saying to us.   Time slots that can be taken are 1 hour, 1/2 hour or 15 minutes.  Only a few that I know can pray an hour, and if you can't, there is no shame in that, just take 15 minute slots.   I simply ask, that you take only what you can do.  

Prayer Targets are much the same as I cover on Thursday Hour of Prayer broadcast.  Nation - Church - Families - society - individuals (lostness, minds and hearts.   Let us seek of the Lord for His favor and seek for an outpouring of His gracious Spirit to revive the church and spiritual awaken a lost nation and world.   Spiritual warfare needs to be engaged as hell is overrunning the 'foundations' of our society.  Everything is about to change, and we have the opportunity before that change to impact for His will and kingdom.  

70 HOURS OF PRAYER

When - October 29 - November 1;  Starting at Noon (EST) October 29;

How - Individuals/Churches to take One hour, 1/2 hour/ or 15 minute slots;

Purpose - Our Hour of Need Has Never Been Greater to Prevail with God;

Who - You are being Invited to Join and Be a Part of This Prayer;

I will be organizing the spread sheet again for time slots, days and who is signed up for what.  We do this jointly, but as individuals we hold ourselves accountable for what we agreed to do in prayer.

Prayer Email - 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC - III

Greetings, "men ought always to pray, and not to faint."  Luke 18:1  In the last month, we have had a Solemn Assembly for our local churches; followed by '100 Hours of Prayer' for the local churches & many of you, my prayer partners on this prayer email joined us.  And now we come to this last protracted time of prayer, 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC.  God sets His people to pray for His purposes and His will to be done.  And yet, prayer is hard to find among the churches today.  Many know they should pray, but refuse to make time.  Many desire to pray better, but have no teaching on how to pray.  Neither are they around seasoned prayer warriors that can impart what they have learned.  And much of the evil and wickedness of today in our nation, cities and homes, is because, we, as God's people have ceased praying.
