100 Hours of Prayer

Greetings, "Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:"  Acts 26:19 The Apostle Paul received a Divine word several times in his life time regarding the kingdom of God. At his salvation in Acts 9, the word of the Lord comes to him, that he would be a witness to the Gentiles. When he was stopped by the Spirit from going further east, the angel came that night beckoning unto him, 'To come over into Macedonia and preach the Word.' He was Divinely told that he would end up in Rome for the cause of the gospel. In each of these moments, he received a Divine word of what to do and to whom to bring the word. Paul filled with tenacity and obedience, being loyal and steadfast unto the Lord, he gave them the gospel of Christ. He was not disobedient unto that heavenly word from God unto him. We have a heavenly vision given to us, as well. A Divine word to be men and women of prayer. Knowing the numerous passages of Scripture commanded of us to pra

100 HOURS OF PRAYER - DEC. 28 - JAN 1

Greetings, "I know thy works" Revelation 2:2 Christ declares to each of the 7 churches in Revelation 2 & 3, 'I know thy works.' God is Omniscient and Omnipresent, He sees, hears and knows not only what we do, but why we do it. Now we approach the end of the year and it is healthy to consider what our works have been. What did you do for the cause of Christ? What did you do to enlarge His kingdom? What did you do for your purposes, for your sake? What sins were allowed and practiced? Each of these are to be dealt with thoroughly in our prayer closets before Him. With each crying out, I pray, with great desire, 'More works done for Thee, Lord in the new year and the close of this year.' The works of men, I care not to mention or deal with too much. but the works of our spiritual discipline is always it seems on my mind. "Am I growing? am I faithful? am I serving? is He being glorified?" How many of our church members have already completed their b

100 HOURS OF PRAYER - DEC. 28 - JAN 1

Greetings, "And He said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing but by prayer and fasting."  Mark 9:29 What good does 100 hours of prayer do? Why should we join such a call to prayer? It is quite evident to the answer of that for these days. In our generation, upon our watch, and in our society, cities, streets and families, we have seen a rise of evil like never before. An evil that matches all the horrible verses in the Bible to what happens when God is absent and removed. And as much as we rejoiced over this last year for all the outpourings of God's Spirit starting with Asbury and continuing through most of this year, we still have the evidence of evil and hate on our streets, via the protests of anti-semitism. Tozer said, "revival changes the moral climate of a society."  With all these awakenings happening, do you see a moral change in our society? I am much moved these days over the estate of the church and the pulpit. I am much moved over the pre

100 HOURS OF PRAYER - DEC. 2023

Greetings, "Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?" Acts 9:6 "And He said unto her, What wilt Thou?" Matthew 20:21 "And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?" Matthew 20:32 "When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, He saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?" John 5:6 In the book of Acts, Saul has been confronted by the Lord Jesus on the road to Damascus. Upon hearing Who is speaking to him, Saul seeks instructions from the Lord, "What would You have me do?" How often Saul, later his name turned to Paul, would ask that same question before the Lord, 'Lord, where would You have me go? To whom would You have me speak? what would you have me do?' A surrendered Christian is always seeking to be obedient in all things of our spiritual walk. We too, will be found asking this same question, that we may be found in His will and ways. Perhaps, it w
