PRAYER EMAIL - OCTOBER 2

 Greetings,
"Consider ye and call for the mourners. . . that they may come. . . And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.. . . Yet hear the word of the Lord. . . teach them all wailing and lamentation.  For death is come up into our windows, and is entered in. . . to cut off the children from without and the young men from the streets."    Jeremiah 9:17 - 21

Consider. . . .call. . . . cry.   I think this is three C's that will preach, if the Spirit so moves.  Coming through Jeremiah 9 in "A Word" devotional/commentary blog and was much moved by this 4th section in this chapter.   God is speaking through Jeremiah to the remaining people of Judah and Jerusalem.  Israel had been removed to captivity over a 100 years ago; now Judah was being stricken by God for their great rebellion and abominations against Him.   God had sent His prophets and warned them and called them to repent and return to Him; but alas, they would not!   Oh, the uncanny parallel between what they did and what God did to them, and where we are.   And as God is preparing to bring forth final judgement upon them, the above Scriptures is what He directed them to do. Consider, call and cry.

Have you met those that weep?  have you met those that consider the things of God, especially in respect to where we are and what is about to happen?   Shouldn't that statement 'death is come up into our windows and it entered' be enough to cause us to sorrow and cry out for God to restrain?  didn't Ezekiel cry out, 'Lord, will you slay everyone?"   Didn't Jesus weep over the city, because they did not know the time of their visitation?   Are there those of you that have stopped, considered and wept?   Consider that covid has now surpassed the Spanish flu deaths.  Consider how many have exited out into eternity without Christ.   Consider that Isaiah prophesied and is now fulfilled in this generation, 'hell has enlarged herself to accommodate the multitudes going in there at'.

Consider, call, and cry out to God.   For every state, every county, every city, every house of God, almost every family has dealt with the dying of the below EPIDEMICS.   How many families have dealt with unexpected suicide?  how many parents have buried their children from drug overdose?   the ravages of families and communities at the horrors of homicides on our streets, in our homes, workplace, churches and schools.   The awful stat of military increase of suicides and among police officers.   The horrendous increase of domestic murder-suicides that has plagued our land.  Consider, call and cry for a 'deliverance from evil'.

Consider - we have brought these things upon ourselves;  our sins and iniquities and evil have greatly increased to anger, provoke and cause God's wrath to be poured out upon us in remedial judgements and now in final judgement.  Consider we are getting ready for the end of our nation and what we have known as 'normal' and our living conditions.

Call - unprecedented calls to the church to understand these things and respond;  Generally, met with a little fanfare and a few "amens".  But as a whole, the cry and coming together, fades away quickly and most return to what was.   A constant call and staying before the Lord is the most needed things.  Praise God for all those that do and have done 24/7 prayer and have a spirit of "continue in prayer";  Call for the body of Christ to consider these things, come together and cry before God for mercy.   And stay there, it is not 'one and done'.

Cry - Some of the most moving times of prayer has been with tears;  Tears, it is the most needed thing, and the least thing done in church services today.   We do not weep!    How can anyone read Lamentations 1:12 and not weep?   How can anyone see souls go to eternal hell and not weep?  And not understand with tears of great joy, 'there I go, but by the grace of God'.   Weep! Weep!! brethren WEEP!!  for our end has come, our children are dying, our generation is perishing; the Spirit of God is removed from our houses of worship and HIs wrath is being poured out.

In a religious atmosphere that wants to 'get up', 'dance' and clap their hands' and have their Pollyanna theology.   I am resigned to 'go down', 'mourn' and slap my thighs in astonishment' that we even remain.   I am resigned that the same churches and pastors falsely posting and preaching, 'God loves you'; 'God loves the sinner, but hates the sin' - knows nothing of the God of the Word or the Word or God(LR quote).   God is angry with the wicked;  'God's wrath abides on him'; and God condemns the sinner, not the sin to eternal hell.

While we still have time and a moment, may we CONSIDER. . . CALL. . . CRY.   For who knows if God will not hear and see and turn and leave a blessing behind Him.
