 Greetings, "for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?"  Joel 2:11 "So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand."  Luke 321:31 Another day, week and month of fulfilled prophecy.  Another reminder of just how late the hour is.  Another moment to stop and consider what is happening and why it is happening.   Literally marking off the 7 seals, and the 7 trumpets in Revelation.  And yet before that final day of the Lord that ushers in the last 7 vials, we are seeing God's hand move against our nation.  And why shouldn't He?  Is His judgements not right?  "Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?"  Yes, He will!   And we have sown much in evil in our land and provoked Him greatly by our choices, laws and practices.   The church has been instructed that during these days to bring forth the truth of these happenings.  The church is to answer the 'why'

   The Activity of God Going through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, phrase by phrase and word by word to give attention to the following: --the Names of God; --the word & deeds of God; --the sayings of God; --the attributes of God; Too often the churches weakness and the Christians weakness is found in this one sin, 'we do not know God'.  We have not studied the Bible, nor Him to learn more of Him.  Seeking that this might be a help for myself and others in this pursuit that each of us 'may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.  Greetings, ". . . .but My people know not the judgment of the Lord."  Jeremiah 8:7 I was asked this past week, why they were not hearing me speak on "remedial" judgements any more.  And I answered, 'Because the remedial judgements are done now, we are gearing up for "Final" judgement.  Remedial judgements are sent for years, for decades, before God stops sending them.  They are sent as an act of grace and mercy from the Lord to cause His people to cease their sins.  To cease doing those things that defile the land, destroy society and decimate lives.  Failure to respond to God's remedial judgement, heightens the next round of remedial judgements.  As given in Leviticus 26, where the people failed to obey, and God sent the next round, 7X worse.  You can only multiply so many times, until you reach the end. Here in Jeremiah 8, it is filled with very specific remarks by God for their failure to respond to His remedial judgement.  And now it was time

 Greetings, "And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables. . . he saw the calf, and the dancing:  And Moses anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.. . . And the Lord said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first:  and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest."    Exodus32:15 - 34:1 Two points here for God to speak to us: 1.  God's work; 2.  God's word.   A true Christian is ever a lover of God's word, and God's work.  They know that they work hand in hand for God's kingdom come and His will to be done.  Yet, we see in this passage that Moses destroyed the work of God, the tables due to his anger at the peoples sins.  The next time God called for him to come up to Him, he made Moses do the work of God, to make the tables, and God would write the Word of God upon it.  A very unique un
