70 HOUR OF PRAYER - 2021

 Greetings,
". . .for, behold, he prayeth,. . . "   Acts 9:11
"I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, . . . "  Revelation 1:10
". . . praying in the Holy Ghost"   Jude v.20
"Elijah. . . he prayed earnestly. . . And he prayed again"  James 5:17 - 18
"Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able. . . ."   Hebrews 5:7

It is a treasure trove of these verses, when God's men prayed.  Each one of the above verses, in their unique place, prayed.  The command is throughout all of Scripture - Pray.  The church was birthed in prayer, covered in prayer and Spirit filled because someone prayed.  'And the place was shaken and they were filled when they had prayed'.  Each moment of God's Divine Manifest Presence has come upon His church for help, revival, leadings, deliverance, because He set His people to pray.  The great promises are found in the relationship of God's people praying.

Promises of Scripture such as:  'Ask and is shall be given"; "Hitherto ye have asked nothing; ask, and it shall be given'; 'Call upon Me'; 'And whatsoever ye shall ask in My Name, ye shall receive'.  Great promises and a clear directive that things happen in this world, because God's children prayed before Him in that heavenly world, before His throne.  Faith directed the child of God to pray, the Holy Ghost breathed the desire to pray and the Christian obeyed the Word of God and did it.  Great testimonies of answered pray of days gone by, and from our own lives because we prayed.  Souls were saved, healings happened, provisions were given, God delivered and God's kingdom advanced and hells was put on retreat because someone prayed.  It is the weapon of our warfare that we have not mastered yet.  But what little we know of it, look how much has been accomplished for His glory and Name sake.   Oh, that men would pray!  God make me a man of prayer!!

A set time of prayer is upon us for 70 hours, October 29 - Nov. 1.  The Lord has spoken, Set them to pray'.  And we are ready to sit before the Lord and hear what the Spirit is saying.  God never does something, without setting His people to pray.  And the prayer movement has been very active, more than any in history, so says some.  Then why call for another time of prayer?  and what is so different about this prayer time?  I can only answer, 'because the Lord said to do it'.   I cannot help but believe something else is on our near horizon and getting ready to happen.  Another shaking? An outpouring? I know not.  I only know, because I have heard this voice before, and I know it is Him.  And He is wanting to reveal, move, speak and direct for what is getting ready to happen.  

So it excites me and troubles me for why God is calling for this important time of prayer.  Grateful to those that have already responded and jumped on to assist to fill these hours and days.  Your prayer lives are filled the same as mine.  Yet, God in His graciousness has aligned us over the months, and years for His purpose with this passion of prayer.  But this much I know from the Scriptures, 'Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?"  Absolutely, He shall.  And so I seek Him that we may pray so as to prevail for His revealed purpose and plan.  A prayer for the church which is in great peril during these days.  Too much carnal, worldly love;  too much neglect of spiritual disciplines.  And we know that in the days to come, there will be a great delusion and deceiving happen, and those that know the truth, shall be set free.  But have you ever seen so many in the church, that do not know the Word of God?  It is troubling.

But God has called us to pray, and pray we shall.  'I give myself unto prayer'; and I seek to be more in line with Him; dying daily to all that distracts and disrupts and deceives.  Focus on Him, enter into His Presence and adore (silent worship) before Him.  "Behold, the Son of God, Who taketh away the sin of the world".   Behold Him Who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think.  Behold the place of God, where all things happen at His bidding, Word and gesture.  Stretch forth, Thy right hand Lord and help us.  For in this hour we need Thee, O we need Thee, every moment we need Thee, Precious Lord!

For those of you that join in this prayer time, you are being asked to be alone with Him for that day(s) and time(s) that you sign up.  You are being asked to seek Him, for what He is desiring to do upon the church, the nation and our future.  And I have no doubt, that many of you will gain a word for your own life and service to Him.  Let us seek the will of the Lord for these days ahead and that the church would be ready and empowered for what is getting ready to come.  Let us seek for those that are much on our hearts and minds for salvation, to understand how near their eternity is.   Let us wait upon Him and be endued with power from on high.  

We only have 2 days before we start.  Thank you again to those that already signed on.   It is not a priority for me to fill every slot of time; it is my desire to set us to pray and seek this common purpose.  But we will and have already covered much of the days;  the night hours are pretty sparse at this time.
