 Greetings, "I marvel that ye are so soon removed form Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ."   Galatians 1:6 - 7 The Apostle Paul addresses 2 things to this church in Galatia.  And is very much still an issue today.  1.) They are removed to another gospel; 2.) The gospel of Christ is perverted by some.  A couple days ago, in the midst of a zoom prayer meeting with Thomas Bush, we centered in on praying spiritual warfare.  Remember when we pray, we are either praying for something, or against something.  Here we was praying against the works of the devil, and against evil itself.  Is this not what Paul is addressing?  There is an evil in our midst today that has twisted, defamed, perverted and presented a false gospel of Christ.  It cannot be known what is false, unless you know what is true.  Greetings, ". . .as we went to prayer. . ."  Acts 16:18 Do you ever have those moments when your going to church, or to serve, or even preach, and Satan is waiting for you?  Always it is to cause some disturbance, some distraction to get your focus off of Him, and on the issue at hand.  Here, in this passage, the Apostle Paul is on his way to pray, a most holy moment.  "We" are going to pray; so it is a corporate time of prayer.  There is a damsel following Paul and this company.  She is demon possessed.  And she is verbally assaulting them, yet we also know it is a spiritual war against them.  I have no doubt, that Satan knows what they are going to do and he is every bit opposed to prayer.   And Paul turns to her, after letting it go for a while to deal with this.  And he rebukes the demon and sets the girl free.  It was not the same kind of prayer, but it was prayer in the Name of Jesus to set the damsel free and the e...

 Greetings, "Hast thou found me, O mine enemy?  And he answered, I have found thee:  because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the Lord."   I Kings 21:20; The last two days I have been at Prayer Link, SBC prayer leaders meeting.  And during one of their prayer times, this verse came to me again.  A moment of contemplation and meditation I fixed on this:  "my enemy"; 'the Lord's enemy".  Has he found me?  Two enemies, and both are against our prayer life and against any motion towards prayer - our enemy will find us.  These two enemies are Satan, of course, but our greatest enemy, my greatest enemy, SELF.  It is an overwhelming confession among pastors, churches and Christians, "I know I should pray more"; 'I wish I would or could pray more".  In 2007, pastors at BBtT were confessing, which stunned me, 'I have no prayer life."  I knew then how much trouble we were in.  Our enemy, self and Satan, ...
