100 Hours of Prayer

 Greetings,
"Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:"  Acts 26:19

The Apostle Paul received a Divine word several times in his life time regarding the kingdom of God. At his salvation in Acts 9, the word of the Lord comes to him, that he would be a witness to the Gentiles. When he was stopped by the Spirit from going further east, the angel came that night beckoning unto him, 'To come over into Macedonia and preach the Word.' He was Divinely told that he would end up in Rome for the cause of the gospel. In each of these moments, he received a Divine word of what to do and to whom to bring the word. Paul filled with tenacity and obedience, being loyal and steadfast unto the Lord, he gave them the gospel of Christ. He was not disobedient unto that heavenly word from God unto him.

We have a heavenly vision given to us, as well. A Divine word to be men and women of prayer. Knowing the numerous passages of Scripture commanded of us to pray. It is an unfaithful testimony of any saint, that circumstances arose and then they prayed; rather than praying, then the circumstances arose. There is much to consider in that order! Many have rehearsed the phrase, 'God sets His people to pray, before He gets ready to pour out His Spirit.' Why must He set them to pray? Because they have not been faithful to the heavenly vision. They have ceased in being faithful to call upon Him and meet with Him. Oh, what a difference one can make for the kingdom of God when they are found obedient unto the heavenly vision to pray! Are you one?

There has been much attempted by the church without prayer. We would not continue in this disobedience and sin.  If we have not been obedient unto that heavenly vision to be houses of prayer, then may God forgive us and may we set ourselves to remedy this sin. How foolish would we be, to enter the new year, without first calling upon His name and seeking His face for Divine help, leading and the outpouring of His Spirit. It is an intentional time for these 100 hours of prayer to have a continual, protracted and prayer of agreement among the brethren. Many have not responded. We can not say with Paul, 'I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision.' I turn to you again and ask of you to join in this moment before the new year comes. There is much at stake. Hell applauds and rejoices in the church and the Christian that is not obedient to their prayer life and calls.

3 prayer targets:
1.  Revival -
the great need of the church today, is the Divine Presence of God upon us and flowing within us. The revivals that mirror days gone by, where the lights don't go out; and there is a great repentance of the church to put away having lost their first love. A revival that seizes the church to the biblical standards, practices and ways of the Lord and His people. Hearing, 'this is the way, now walk in it.'

2. A prayer for the church -  my great concern going into the new year, is the powerlessness and the Presence-lessness of the church today. We should be setting the standard and the agenda of our nation. Yet, the very opposite is true. Too much of this world, and not enough holiness found among the bride. Let us have a consistent cry, 'Make us/me holy, as You are holy.' May the church be that which is pleasing and right unto God. And it not be, that He says of the US church, 'but this I have against you.'

3.  Spiritual warfare - the evil of this day is flourishing and has come in like a flood; let there be a unified prayer given to undo the works of evil on the minds and hearts of men. Let the strongholds of the addictions be broken and shattered. Let the chains that bind them be loosed. Let the power of God's Spirit and Presence be loosed on our churches, homes, and hearts, minds and souls to bring lost men to salvation.
