PRAYER EMAIL - JANUARY 27

 Greetings,
"And He cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest, it is enough, the hour is come;"   Mark 14:41

It is the greatest hour of need known to man.  And Christ is left alone to pray and wrestle 'with great straining's and tears'.  He has requested of His 3 friends to pray with Him and for Him.  And yet, all 3 times that He takes a moment to come and check on them and see if they are praying, He finds them asleep.  And issues the statement, which is the American church largely today, 'the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.'  The hour is come.  Meaning there is nothing more that can be done.  For the affairs of this night into the morning and the next day are set into motion.  For within minutes, Christ will be arrested; Christ will be beat; Christ is already betrayed; and within 24 hours, He will be judged, sentenced and executed.  The hour is come!

Leading up to that hour He was praying and wrestling before God, 'not for His will to be done, but the Father's will to be done'.  What are you wrestling for this hour?  What hour are we in?  I believe the same edict is being given to us in this hour -- 'Your hour is come'.  Our nation is under full arrest of judgements, evil and forsaken of God.  The church who has been asked of God, 'pray', is largely fast asleep.  Asleep to what is happening, lethargic to respond and apathetic until it hits their loved ones.  'Awake, awake, it is high time to awake'.  For your hour is come!  As Christ signified, 'it is enough'; the hour is come and nothing now will change.  It is all set into motion for the will of the Lord to be done.  What is God's will for our nation?  Is it not to destroy us?  He would seek to bless, restore, and revive; but what can He do, when evil is increased like a flood on our streets, homes and in the minds and hearts of men.  And if He judges and is judging our nation; does not judgement begin at the house of God?  Why is there no power, no Presence in fullness of the Spirit; why so much prayer, but no revival, or awakening upon the lost masses?  Your hour is come!

We were bidden to be 'houses of prayer' and men and women given to prayer.  but over the last 50 years, the erosion of prayer, holiness and faithfulness has all but evaporated into sensual, emotions and self interest.  And the remnant, remains, with those still seeking, still praying, still desiring for God to help us and revive us once again.   Christ walks in the midst of the 7 golden candlesticks, His church, His bride.  What does He find in this hour?  He enters and joins with the saints gathered on Sunday in their respective places, does He find houses of prayer?  Does He see and hear from the secret closet the groanings and cries needed to intreat Him to repent of the evil determined against us.  Or does He say, 'it is enough, the hour is come'.

My quote, that I often put in these emails is, 'the hour is late, the need is great'.  Our need is great for God's grace and mercy.  How often must the prayer be offered, 'Lord, help us! for if You do not help us, there is no help."   But until the Lord speaks and says, 'it is enough', we must labor, seek, pursue Him.  Find Christ and Christ and Christ alone, 'I sought Him, Whom my soul loveth; I sought and I found Him and would not let Him go."  Seek and find; fast and weep; prayer and plead.  For the hour is come!  And as I continue to say, 'I will not get on the other side of final judgement form God and regret that I didn't do enough.  Today is the day and now is the hour. Our hour is come to rise up and seek Him and pray unto Him.  For He is all we need.

TOMORROW - SBC CALL TO PRAYER --- PREVAIL IN PRAYER

be in prayer for these 2 gatherings;

PRAYER TARGETS - EPIDEMICS

A warning of how late the hour is for our nation.  The evil and sin of the nation greatly increasing with blood shed.  'Blood defiles the land'; 'blood cries out to God' for a response.  God responds with judgement.  And when men do not humble themselves and repent, then the judgement is increased 7X (Leviticus 26).  Thus what happens when a nation refuses to repent, to confess to respond rightly before the very God that they have angered, provoked and refused?  God brings us to end judgement, to our final hour.  'Till there was no rememdy"  (II Chronicles 36:16)  We are now a nation filled with death and dying.  And our certain end is near.  Failure of the church to recognize, make known the remedial judgements to the people for their gross sins and evil, has escalated the judgements to EPIDEMIC proportions.   I fear that we have now entered into final judgement from remedial judgements because of the churches failure to rightly respond.  Minimal actions taken to cause us to repent, to be humble before Him, to confess and know wherein our great trespasses are.  Departure from holiness and righteousness, all the while self-serving and going through the motions of church.  Always reminded, 'what you sow, is what you reap.'  And here we are!

Mass murders this month, in the first 25 days of January, has already hit 8.  Back in November we hit 9, and that was a record to my knowledge.  There was 6 in November.  Murder-suicides are almost running 2 a day so far this year.  Such staggering stats should alarm, yea compel us to respond.  Where is the response?
