PRAYER EMAIL - DECEMBER 23

 Greetings,

A blessed and Spirit filled Christmas to each of you.  Thank you for your prayers, support and love for our Lord's kingdom.

"And Elijah the Tishbite. . . As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before Whom I stand,. . . ." I Kings 17:1
Your role and privilege as a prayer warrior, an intercessor for our Lord's kingdom is much in the same place as Elijah states, 'before Whom I stand.'  As Ravenhill said, 'it is one thing to stand before men on behalf of God, but truly better and greater to stand before God on behalf of men.'  And the praying man and woman, that God has called to be before Him in prayer is blest to have that opportunity.  For it is the power of prayer, that God has ordained to move His kingdom and advance it.  And the negligence of prayer from God's people is what allows for hell to advance.  The sin of prayerlessness by God's servant or church is a forfeiture that restrains God's Holy Spirit and gives a blessing to demons and Satan.  The sin of prayerlessness is what has allowed the evil of our nation to surge, it is what has hindered the church to be New Testament Christians.  Thus, what we need at the close of this year, and into the new year, those that will say like Elijah, 'before Whom I stand.'

Our 100 Hours of Prayer is the great privilege and necessity to be those that will stand before Him.  Seeking at this time of judgement and great provocation to His anger, to plead, 'in wrath remember mercy.'  What better way to close the last days, the last hours of this year, than before Him to hear Him and to wait upon Him.  And I would hope and pray that during your time in prayer before the Lord, that you would have a moment where the Spirit blows through the mulberry trees.  And that we can go into the new year, with the faith and hope in Him, that it is now time to see His Manifest Presence and glory fall upon His people.  So while you are before Him, give ear to hear, what the Spirit is saying.  And when allowed to offer your prayers of supplication and intercession, plead much for His Divine help and Presence.

The 2 things we are focused on during our 100 Hours of prayer, is real revival and a spiritual awakening.  It does us no good to stand before men.   Pastors have been standing before the congregations preaching the Word and not much is happening.  If you remember J. Edwin Orr teaching on revival, he shared that one pastor had not seen a convert for 15 years and subsequently left the ministry.  Declaring that it is always darkest before God's glorious Light and Presence comes.  Yes, we are to stand before lost men and declare the whole gospel truth of God's redemption and Divine word.  But far too many stand before men and are content to teach, without the power and Presence of God.  What we need today is men that stand before the Lord Jehovah and receive His Divine unction from on high.  And then go stand before men.  'Go into Jerusalem, and wait until you be endued with power from on high."  Therefore, it is necessary to stand before God and beseech Him for Him to do what only He can do.  Send the fire, the Pentecostal fire; fill each heart with Your Spirit and fill us till we overflow.

Stand before Him, for the lost masses of humanity world wide.  And pray with earnestness and fervency for a mighty move of God that reaches these lost soul, far and near.  There are 8 billion souls on the planet, a milestone reached just a few weeks ago.  And out of that 8 billion, there are estimated 1 billion Christians; 1 billion children below the age of accountability; this leaves  6 billion souls lost and without Christ.  'The harvest is past, the summer is ended and we are not yet saved.'  As you stand before Him, how can you not behold the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world' and not know that His desire is as much for them, as it was for you.  Stand and pray before Him, for a great spiritual awakening.  And as we pray, let us enter into the new year with great expectancy, that no matter how governments, go, no matter how the rest of the world goes; with God all things are possible.

Stand in the Presence of God and pray, my beloved.  Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!
