100 HOURS OF PRAYER - 2022

 Greetings,
EVEN NOW!!
". . .for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware."  Deuteronomy 31:21

"My daughter is even now dead; but come and lay Thy hand upon her, and she shall live."  Matthew 9:18
"But I know, that even now, whatsoever Thou wilt ask of God, God will give it Thee."  John 11:22
". . . even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness."  Romans 6:19

100 Hours of Prayer - December 28 - January 1

The Lord has given me my Scripture phrase to pray through my set prayer times during our 100 Hours of Prayer.  Above is a few of the verses that covers this phrase, uttered mostly by God, 'EVEN NOW".  God knows our imaginations, EVEN NOW; just as He did when Moses gave them the song of Moses and told of their thoughts against the Lord.  God told Jeroboam that for his wickedness in making the two false gods and doing wickedly, his line would be cut off from the earth; When?  EVEN NOW.  The father comes begging Christ to come and help heal his daughter, for EVEN NOW she is dying if not dead.  Martha declares great faith in Christ, that whatever He asks of God the Father, EVEN NOW, the Lord will give it to Him.  And we are called EVEN SO NOW to yield ourselves to righteousness and holiness.  What a great prayer phrase of Scripture to pray during these days!

There is an urgency as we come to this prayer time and the end of the year.  Even now, that urgency seems almost pending on what we accomplish during these days.  A prayer of knowing that our nation in most recent weeks has passed a law approving of abominations and renouncing God's design of marriage between one man and woman.  And what? You didn't think that God would respond to our nation.  The alarming rise in the Pacific of 10 earthquakes of 4.5 or greater in the last week, is enough to concern me.  Even now, the thought of knowing that God is getting ready to send forth some cataclysmic happening to shake us from our ease and contentment stirs me to seek His face, 'in wrath remember mercy'.  To remember, there is a God Who rules the heavens and the earth.  And we are not to provoke Him, but to bring glory to Him.  But what?  Even now!

We always assume, and live, as if everything will always continue, as is.  Unmindful, or forgetful, that what we sow is what we reap.  Even now, things for our nation are in the works to bring us to our end for 70 million murdered babies blood, that calls to God for vengeance.  This blood shed has not been atoned for, and God will repay.  Even now, there are things that are happening, and have been happening to bring us to our end.  We see the drug deaths escalating every year, higher and higher.  We see the death rates in murder-suicides, mass murders and homicides continue to go larger and larger, affecting more and more families and communities.  Even now, these things are unfolding and in need of us to resist the evil that is within men's minds and hearts.

And what of the church? Even now, we are being called by God Himself, to forsake this world, our selves and turn to Him in righteousness unto holiness.  Where is the church that has a priority and path to holiness?  Where is the corporate prayer meeting with urgency for life and death in their homes, families and community?  Even now, she is dying said the father to Christ, and begged Him.  The plea was, 'come Lord and rescue; come Lord and restore these that are dead in trespasses and sins'.  For even now Lord, if you ask Your Father for this, He will give it to you.  Help us Lord, even now!

I can see why God gave me this phrase to use in my prayer times.  Perhaps if you are looking for something to use, this may be a great benefit to your prayer times as well.  'Even Now" Lord hear us, help us, save us, forgive us, redeem us, revive us and be glorified in all of it! Even now!

100 HOURS OF PRAYER - DEC. 2023

Prayer Email - 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC - III

Greetings, "men ought always to pray, and not to faint."  Luke 18:1  In the last month, we have had a Solemn Assembly for our local churches; followed by '100 Hours of Prayer' for the local churches & many of you, my prayer partners on this prayer email joined us.  And now we come to this last protracted time of prayer, 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC.  God sets His people to pray for His purposes and His will to be done.  And yet, prayer is hard to find among the churches today.  Many know they should pray, but refuse to make time.  Many desire to pray better, but have no teaching on how to pray.  Neither are they around seasoned prayer warriors that can impart what they have learned.  And much of the evil and wickedness of today in our nation, cities and homes, is because, we, as God's people have ceased praying.
