PRAYER EMAIL - NOVEMBER 12

 Greetings,
". . . and the rain from heaven was restrained;"  - Genesis 8:2
". . . and not nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do."  - Genesis 11:6
". . . Behold, now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing:. . . "  -  Genesis 16:2

My battle over these last months has been regarding this word, 'restrain'; restrain the evil of our day.  Now blessed be God, there are 5 times in Scripture directly saying, 'There is nothing too hard for God." God is Omnipotent in all ways.  In Bible readings, as I started again in Genesis, 3 times this word speaks in Genesis of God restraining.  1.  God restrains the rain from heaven; which is quite the contrast of God not restraining the waters to flood the earth; 2.  God sees the evil of men, and says nothing shall be restrained from them to do evil now.  So God restrains them from this progress by discomfiting them with the different languages; God restrained their evil.  3.  God restrains women from conceiving; God opens the wombs and God can close the wombs.  There is a 4th but it is not the word 'restrain' but the word 'withheld'.  God withheld the king from sinning against God when he took Sarah, "I withheld you from sinning against Me.'  

Three prayers that are increasing with me due to our increased evil and sin against the Lord.  And this increase of evil, should alarm the church and Christians.  We are increasing to a place of 'no return' in God's final judgement against our land.  My battle has been to discern where exactly are we, and what is coming next in these remedial judgements vs. the final judgement upon the church and upon our nation.  But the 3 prayers are "restrain the evil in minds and hearts of men".  For it is the minds and hearts were this battle is fought and won, or lost.  2.  'Deliver us from evil, or the Evil One.'  3.  Undo the evil of men that is already set in place and happening.  We have already accelerated the evil and widened its influence and impact.  Why?  Partly because there was no 'gatekeepers' of the nation.  Satan and evil strolled right in and there was no one that recognized this and withstood him.  Much like children of Babel, God came down to see and said of them, 'there is no restraining them of this evil that they have become.'  And He did not undo them or their works, but discomfited the languages to stop, restrain the evil they had set themselves into motion with.   

Praise God for His mercy and graciousness.  As this word was given unto me, and more focused prayer was given unto these evils of the Epidemics.  Specially regarding the 'Great Evil' epidemic of#6, I gave more emphasis of prayer to undo this evil.  Thus far since last week, there have been no mass murders and no police officers killed.  But this battle is not a battle when it is convenient but every day and every moment.  For just as evil takes no holidays or rests, neither are we to rest.  This battle with Satan is 'no quarter asked, and none given.'  As one spiritual and prayer leader advised me, 'gather a group of intercessors to pray against this.'  I ask of you that have received these emails for years, are you praying with me?  Are you engaging as well to undo this evil of our day?   For this is why I have always written out these judgements and Epidemics, was for you to see and know the updates on them to pray against it.  Now I know that as each of us are involved in ministry, life and our own daily walk with God.  It may seem impossible to ask more of you.  But are you able to give one day, or one hour out of the week to engage against this evil, and to prevail for God's goodness to prevail and come forth?  

If He is able to restrain the heavens from rain? if He is able to restrain wombs from conceiving and bearing children, is He not able to restrain the evil of men's minds and hearts?   Is it not a question of Hudson Taylor's life motto: "is it possible to move man, through God, by prayer alone?'   And he affirmed as many others did, it is possible!  If you don't how he did it, read his biography/autobiography - very powerful!  Or what shall I say of Praying Hyde? or Murray? or Finney?   'Now unto God, Who is able', let us pray the prayer of faith and believe.  God forgive us for not praying.  God forgive us for not believing.  But the power of our day for revival and spiritual awakening is found in the prayers of His people.   He is able and willing, but  has He found the church or Christians so willing.  Too many cobwebs in the prayer rooms and in the prayer closets.  

WE know the evil of our days.  We know the evil of our ownselves, or at least we should know 'the sin that does so easily beset us.'  If the Apostle Paul prayed and said, 'O wretched man that I am!' how shall we not say this of our ownselves?  Or sing the truth of this song, 'prone to wander Lord, I know it; prone to leave the God I know.'  So we pray against this 'proning' against Him.  We renew our vows, we renew our prayer times.  For the progression of evil has come and has multiplied in our nation.  And you have been given a passion to pray, it is a gift and command.  Now let us exercise ourselves to prevailing in this call to prayer.  

Note the recent elections:  2 states legalized more drug use and sales; 4 states legalized murder of babies; 18% increase in LGBT candidates;  And understand and see just how divided our nation is.  Senate split right down the middle; House of Representatives practically split right down the middle with no confirmation at this point of any controlling.  And seen the state governors, divided right at 24/24 for each party.  WE are a nation divided, not united.  This is God's judgement on us.  For every election we see evil gaining ground.  All because the church praying for its candidate rather than praying against evil.  This is why we need God to move and work, rather than trusting in the humanism machine of effort.  We don't need elected officials, we need God.   From the Moral Majority to present, we have thought and believed that we can undo this evil by electing our people.  And all along, we just needed God.  God will take care of that, if we take care of His kingdom come and His will be done.  Get your focus and priority in prayer right and everything else will follow accordingly to Him.  

Let there be a discerning of our times and happenings.  Let us engage the enemy that has taken so much from us.  Setting ourselves constantly before Him, Who is able to restrain and undo this evil.  Let us prevail for His kingdom advancement and put hell on retreat.  Let us see the evidence of God answering prayer for His glory.   

PRAYER TARGETS
EPIDEMICS
1.  Drugs/Alcohol - deaths, dy8ing, and destruction from these two evil that are embraced more and more;  more states legalizing drug use;

2.  Children - continued sex offenders; continued neglect and abuse; continued forced sex transition surgeries; books, education all increasing evil; and less and less of children and grandchildren knowing and hearing the Gospel and Christian truths;  all but have lost the next generation at current condition;

3.  LGBT - more elected officials for states and government; increase in this election added 18 % more; the more they have in offices, the more they will advocate until church is made illegal for standing against this abomination;  another transgender candidate elected;  God has given us over to reprobate minds and we have surpassed this evil abominations to finalize our judgement as a nation and the church for not stopping it.

4.  Natural disasters - hurricane and flooding on Florida and east coast; but much needed rain for our Mid-Atlantic area where I am; Have you seen the drought map for the US - 90% is under some level of drought conditions;  2 7.0 earthquakes on Friday in Pacific and a 6.9;

5.  Pestilence -  even thought covid is being dismissed US is still running top stats in cases and deaths compared to rest of world;  RSV on children have hospitals maxed out;  our cancer lists is holding now after 3 months of rapid increase;  

6.  Great Evil - a week ago, it seemed we were due to continue the increase in death and mass murders;  but with the above word of "restrain" I have fixed myself more on restraining evil in minds and hearts of men.  And great mercy has been shown. in the stats.  Averaging murder-suicides are a 1 per day; mass shooting averaging 1 per day; no police officers killed; and no more mass murders since the 2 on Nov.4;  "With great wrestlings I have wrestled and prevailed"

7.  Economy - bitcoin company lost billions;  ripple affects to come this week;  China bought up debt of Central/South American nation;  

UPDATE:

--bible readings - up through Exodus 13; marveling again at the 10 plagues of Egypt;  writing and marking all Scripture references to "watch" and "wait":
--A Word - up through Jeremiah 24:8;  only 10 verses in this chapter, all 8 verses started and finished:  this past week better time of writing and able to back and work more on finishing chapter 22 - only 5 of 30 verses to finish; and chapter 23, alot to finish, just under 1/2;
--Monday bible Study - Deuteronomy 4;  google meet;
--Thursday Hour of Prayer - I have not been able with my schedule to do this; at a loss right now what to do; another time/night? ?  pre-record??  will not be able to do ANY this month of November on Thursday.
--Sunday services - Keyser at 10 AM; Fox's Hollow - SS at 2 PM & worship at 3 PM:
--Community Prayer on 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month;

Prayer Email - 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC - III

Greetings, "men ought always to pray, and not to faint."  Luke 18:1  In the last month, we have had a Solemn Assembly for our local churches; followed by '100 Hours of Prayer' for the local churches & many of you, my prayer partners on this prayer email joined us.  And now we come to this last protracted time of prayer, 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC.  God sets His people to pray for His purposes and His will to be done.  And yet, prayer is hard to find among the churches today.  Many know they should pray, but refuse to make time.  Many desire to pray better, but have no teaching on how to pray.  Neither are they around seasoned prayer warriors that can impart what they have learned.  And much of the evil and wickedness of today in our nation, cities and homes, is because, we, as God's people have ceased praying.
