PRAYER EMAIL - SEPTEMBER 10

 Greetings,
"God gave them over to reprobate minds" - Romans 1:28
"So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lusts:  and they walked in their own counsels."  Psalm 81:12
"Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron."  I Timothy 4:2

"Minds, hearts and souls"  Numerous other verses goes along with this for the great warfare of our day.  Men's minds and hearts are shut off, hardened and rebellious against God, His word, His will and His ways.  Our own struggles among many Christians, in the churches, have confessed, that minds and hearts is the battle of their doing the will of God and not doing it.  'For to him that knoweth to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.'   Did Christ not say this, and know this, 'the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.'  We see an unparalled generation before us, where evil is becoming more evil and wickedness is abounding among more and more.  "In the last days, things will grow worse and worse."  No longer the generation ago, where there was some what of trust.  We left our doors unlocked, keys in the vehicle, possessions out in the yard.  Morals are corrupt and decency is eroding away.  This is all found in minds, hearts and consciences of men today.  Once sown in their minds and hearts, it is reaped in their works and deeds.  Herein is the battle of our day.  

'Conscience seared' - these are those with no hope of salvation;  Only God knows who they are, we do not.  But there have been several in my ministry, that after numerous invitations, discussions of the Gospel, they rejected everything of God's grace, they died in their sins and perished to eternal hell fire.  Their conscience was seared; just as the body has a place that has been seared with fire or heat, its callous, nerves are deadened, and it is scarred over, unable to function or operate as the rest of the flesh.  It is dead.  and they are dead in trespasses and sins, having committed the unpardonable sin of rejection and refusing God.  Those that have said, 'Leave me alone, God.'  And God says, 'Granted.'  

Characteristics of this is found in the minds and hearts.  It is here in the minds & hearts that this seared conscience begins.  Minds given over to reprobate thoughts and will.  There is no longer a battle of good and evil, or right and wrong.  They are wholly given over to act upon their desires and the minds thoughts.  God already spoke of the heart and said, 'the heart is desperately wicked'.  IT should be the most awe filled fear of any of us, to watch a loved one, friend or religious person, harden themselves against the truth of God.  They have that most obstinate attitude of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, that as the word of God was read on the parchment, the king would cut a section off and throw it into the fire.  Caring nothing for what God was saying or warning.  Given over!  Do you know how many in our land, that their minds and hearts are alienated and reprobate and wholly given to anti-God?  

We are to take captive the thoughts, the minds that produces much of this evil.  We are to capture strong holds that is producing this evil and wickedness among this generation.  We are to do preventive prayers.  There is a whole lot of praying, 'after the fact'; but not much before the fact.  WE know the pattern of men today, in their choices, works and deeds.  They are given to flesh, sin and self.  Let us pray before hand to capture and take hold of the evil before it takes root, or enters their minds and hearts.  Let us undo the seeds that are there.  In the parable of Christ about the sower and the 4 types of seeds, SAtan is the bird that comes and snatches the seed as soon as it is cast forth.  If Satan can take the seed of the Word of God that the ears hear, before it enters and takes root, then can we not take his thoughts, words and suggestions before they take root and bring forth evil and wickedness?  We are to know our enemy, but I fear the church knows little of him and his tactics.  The Apostle Paul says, 'we are not ignorant of his devices.'  But I fear the church today is unwilling to learn, or know his tactics.  Only after he causes some great calamity do we begin to pray.  And generally not against his evil or plans, but pray for those impacted by its crisis and calamity.    

Examples of this that I wrestle with:  Suicide in the US happens 66 times per day on average.  We know this.  We know that it is generally not a sudden moment that they contemplate this, but has been there for some time.  Satan sends the thought, they see someone else did it (repeat & emulated pattern), they begin to consider it, they dwell on it.  Now if this is the pattern, then do we not by the power of prayer have the authority to capture and undo this process that Satan has set into motion?   So if we know that today, there is some soul contemplating, making plans, getting ready to take their life; then why are we not crying out to God, Who can undo, stop, thwart and end this process and bring deliverance, hope and love to them?   Preventive prayers - we need more of this; rather than praying after they take their life and pray for consolation and peace upon the family.  Stop it now, before it gets to this place.

Example 2:  Satan's objective is to destroy, kill, steal and maim all that is for God's glory.  His actions, works and plans are literally to do anti-Christ works.  So that whatever is for God, by God or about God, Satan marks it as a target.  This is the saints, the churches, the Word, man, His creation.  Knowing his devices and tactics against God's people, we should do everything to safe guard one another.  Satan has come, is coming and will come against the church.  But the authority is, 'he will not prevail against it'.  Yet, in this day and age, Satan is making much of inroads against the work and kingdom of God.  From what I wrote last week, on the kingdom of God, we should protect, cover, sustain and bless the work of God.  Fortify, advance, victory and overcoming by the church against Satan's attacks, plans and ways to destroy and decimate.  Remember, Satan doesn't have to kill the church or decimate it.  A most affective tactic is to give it a state of safety, ease, comfort, increased in goods and riches and have need of nothing, apathy.  For when he does this, and it takes a little longer, but it will die; or God will remove their candlestick.  Thus, let us war a good warfare about such things happening in churches, Christian families, lives and choices.  Let us undo, stop, thwart his advances.  Let us seek and pray for God's Spirit to blow upon them, to bring life, power, intimacy with Him and overflowing power in His Spirit.  

At the heart of all this is the ways of man in their thoughts, heart and consciences.  Each attacked, each penetrated with Satan's agenda.  Let us bind together to give victory, and overcoming will and ways to bring and produce His glory.  Let us bind together to stop the works of darkness upon our land , in our homes, and in our churches.  I don't hear a whole lot of praying, nor discussion on spiritual warfare among Christians and in churches today.  Listen to any prayers, or talk about prayer; largely 90% is physical needs and wants.  Acceptance of things, as is; rather than what should be, or could be in His Name and power.  More about our kingdoms and the humanism that builds it, and projects it; rather than His kingdom come and His will be done for His Name sake.  We need a different style of praying today, than this repetition of phrases and physical items lists.  Bless God for those that anguish in the secret closet; bless those that weep, for joy comes in the morning; bless those that pray so as to prevail and God answers; bless preventive prayers, for they work to undo the works of darkness and spare the lives of those that Satan would forfeit their existence.  
"Let this mind be in you, which was in Christ Jesus.'  Did Christ not pray preventively for Peter, when He knew that Satan desired to sift him?  Did Christ not weep for the destruction that was to come for the city?  Did Christ not teach us to pray the kingdom, rather than our kingdoms?  
"consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds."

NOTE OF WARNING:  there has been great advancement on the 'great evils' found down in the epidemics below in most recent weeks.  A seemingly great quiet against evils of our day.  Usually we would rejoice and go on our merry way, hoping that it continues.  However, due to previous moments in time, this is a warning of something greater coming on the horizon.  Satan has not quit, nor lessened, he is simply re-grouping and rearranging his demons and tactics.  A greater emphasis of prayer is needed for this moment and hour.  With 9/11 tomorrow, let us remember no one got up that morning, expecting a life changing moment to happen that day.  But it did!  And we are on the crisp of another moment.  Power of prayer to undo it before it happens.  

PRAYER TARGETS:

EPIDEMICS
1.  Drugs/Alcohol - continued increase of use, affects and death;  laws pending to increase legality of selling, buying and use;  No longer criminal acts.
2.  Children -  these innocent children preyed upon by teachers, leaders, parents, perverts of their own desires;  sex trafficking; abuse, neglect, raised without love, or the Gospel of Christ;  
3.  LGBT - continued reprobate, vile, perverse agenda of hell upon schools, youth, and society as a whole; 
4.  Pestilence - monkeypox continues; covid stats down, but continue; cancers stopped for the first part of this week, after 7 straight weeks of prayer requests and reports of new cancers, but Thursday received another;  
5.  Natural Disasters - hurricanes quiet through August, starting to increase activity now;  TS hits west coast, flooding, but much needed rain;   drought conditions abating; earthquakes down to 55 per week a few weeks ago in August, now up over 110;  A huge lull and now with such quietness waiting for major 7 or 8 to hit;   Such lulls always worry me, the calm before the storm.
6.  Great Evil - "is it nothing to you all ye that pass by, behold my sorrow."  - first full week of Sept and we saw days of murder-suicides stopped;  no police officers killed; and mass shooting tremendously down.  And just as a restraint had been placed, it quickly unraveled the last 48 hours;  family of 5 in MD murder-suicide; 2 police killed in GA; back to the war front to prevail for deliverance from evil; undoing and stopping of minds and hearts given to do this evil;
7.  Economy - major cracks and reporting of the beginning of the collapse and unhinging of our markets and economy;  watching to what this will lead to;  Middle of December supposedly mandate in place to start "only digital currency";  global real estate bubbles ushering collapse in China and US;  food shortages still persist and increase;
