PRAYER EMAIL - AUGUST 26

 Greetings,
"Watchman, what of the night?  Watchman, what of the night?"  Isaiah 21:11
"I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower; and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer, when I am reproved."  Habakkuk 2:1

The Lord still has me fixed here on keeping the 'watch'.  For over 6 weeks, this word, study and practice of the watch, He has been showing, speaking and teaching.  I started a whole new section of verses that God is giving me for the emphasis of keeping the watch.   

"I will stand upon my watch" - you and I are living in many different states and cities; In all there are almost 80 on the two email lists that this is sent to. Not counting those that you forward it to.  We have different families and church families;  And this is our watch.  To watch for them, to cover them in God's Divine Spirit of protection, deliverance and salvation.  We seek their safeguard; for our adversary and theirs and God's enemy, 'walks about seeking whom he may devour and destroy.'  How many of our family have been destroyed and devoured, because we and others were not keeping the watch for their souls?  And Satan took them.  The churches across America are filled with grandparents and parents that have lost their children and grandchildren to sin, Satan and self.  We were busy, we were negligent, we were lazy and Satan stole them.  And how many are on our lost souls list where parents and grandparents are crying out to God, to give them back their children from hell's wicked clasp.  To deliver them from sexual sins, drugs, love of money and recreation and entertainment; because they have no love for God, His Word or His church.  And now the loved one sits on the tower and watches for their souls to be delivered and to see them set free.

"I will stand upon my watch" - for the church; Humanism reigns in our churches.  Our continued means, methods and madness and all the while we design and develop these things and ask God to bless our endeavors.  What ever happened to waiting upon God and having God endue us and go forth in His power and Presence?   Watch for the pulpits!  be very zealous and jealous for the men of God that occupy the sacred desk.  In a day of dress downed, water downed and dummy downed preachers, we need the unction from on high that only God can give.  We watch for the ministry of the saints that they would be protected and delivered from evil.  And the man of God must be as diligent not only for His flock of sheep, yea, but for his own soul and walk with God as well.  There are/were 3 saints that every time I would see them, they would ask me 'what's the Lord been saying to you?' 'Where are you in your walk with God?"  They was checking on me, watching for my soul and ministry to see whether I was remaining faithful to my heavenly calling.  Two of those three are now dead.  And truly I have no one that really asks me of my place or walk with God.  As a pastor and because this had meant so much to me to watch for others, I often ask this of saints.  They will not say, 'no man cared for my soul'.  Because you and I are to watch for them and one another.  

Thus:  where are you in your service and ministry?  are you much alone with Him?  Are you watching for your own soul, my beloved?   Give an account of yourself.

"I will stand upon my watch" - for the city/souls of men;  Christ beheld the city and wept over it.  Why do so many of our churches and saints have the Keith Green song as their standard, 'My Eyes are Dry'?  Weep, fast and seek the mercy and grace of our Lord to rest upon your street, neighborhood and city.  You know God's desire is that none should perish, none should go away from Him.  Let us seek that great awakening of lost souls coming to salvation in Christ.  Watch for the places of your city in schools, police/ems/fire and businesses.  Watch for the marriages, homes and relationships.  Does this seem like much?  It is.  But tell me, where are the intercessors that are watching; do you know them? are you one of them?  I fear far too many of our cities gates are left wide open for the enemy; too many of our homes are not watched for and the death angel comes, and they have no blood upon the door posts and lintel.  This is not taught among churches today, but most of you knows these truths, therefore you must watch, for there is no one else to do it.  And if there is, praise God, and join and help one another.  

Watchman, what of the night?  The night is coming; the darkness covers the land.  Hell and Satan and sin are flourishing.  Death and dying is our main way now.  Our nation has turned into a divided place where evil is abounding and wickedness is applauded and accepted.  Churches are largely powerless, void of the Holy Ghost and His Presence is hard to find among the brethren.  Little prayer, little evangelism; and little harvest.  Socialism is coming and continues to edge forward in more and more places.  This will be our undoing and utter collapse of freedoms, profit and ability.  All that we have been blessed with as a nation, is and will be slowly removed and destroyed.  'What shall the righteous do when the foundations are destroyed?'  What do I see on the night watch?  I see broken lives, broken marriages, broken homes, and a broken church.  And only God the Father, Son and Spirit are the Ones Who can remedy all that is wrong.  Unless the Lord build the house, they that labor, labor in vain.  Help us O God to keep the watch and be faithful till the end!

PRAYER TARGETS:
EPIDEMICS:
1.  Drugs/alcohol - stats continue to show that fentanyl is very much prevailing against our society;  continue reports of more and more seizures of pills at borders;  and more and more reports of overdoses and deaths;

2.  Children -  continued reports of teachers defiling students; horrible reports of Mexico cartels using children's dead bodies to fill with drugs into US; and cartels reportedly using children to harvest organs on black market;  Such Evil! and no one seems to be willing to stop it or end this madness; 

3.  LGB(T) - You will note that the (T) is different from other weeks that I reports on these epidemics; apparently with the reports of transgenders targeting children and schools, the homosexual and lesbian community realize the evil of this and are seeking to separate from them.  T's are continuing impact and reach on children from 3 - 10 years old; surgeries are reportedly increasing as they violate children;

4.  Natural Disasters - hurricanes have been quiet thus far; drought conditions are improving in US; 

5.  Pestilence - covid stats are holding, as is; monkeypox continues; cancers have increased exponentially;  

6.  Great Evil -great increase in police officers deaths this month, 8 officers killed so far; all other deaths have lessened for August - murder-suicides at 40; mass shootings at 53;   

7.  Economy - watching; stocks take major hit this week; forgiveness of student loans to impact debt of US economy;

--Thursday Hour of Prayer - was not able to do last nights broadcast; still contemplating what to do on this as we go into the fall and end of year;
--Sunday - Keyser Church at 10 AM:  Fox's Hollow - SS  at 2 PM, going through Revelation; worship at 3 PM:
--1st and 3rd Sunday prayer with pastors;

100 HOURS OF PRAYER - DEC. 2023

Prayer Email - 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC - III

Greetings, "men ought always to pray, and not to faint."  Luke 18:1  In the last month, we have had a Solemn Assembly for our local churches; followed by '100 Hours of Prayer' for the local churches & many of you, my prayer partners on this prayer email joined us.  And now we come to this last protracted time of prayer, 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC.  God sets His people to pray for His purposes and His will to be done.  And yet, prayer is hard to find among the churches today.  Many know they should pray, but refuse to make time.  Many desire to pray better, but have no teaching on how to pray.  Neither are they around seasoned prayer warriors that can impart what they have learned.  And much of the evil and wickedness of today in our nation, cities and homes, is because, we, as God's people have ceased praying.
