PRAYER EMAIL - 80 HOURS OF PRAYER

 Greetings,

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"  Ephesians 6:18

A continuous time of prayer, 80 Hours straight, from multiple places across our country.  We will be beseeching God for our greatest need of this hour.  We need God!  The church needs Revival!  The lost masses need Holy Spirit conviction & conversion! And God's church and Christians need to be Spirit filled to overflowing.

We are set to begin this Sunday, July 31 at 4 PM (EST) and conclude Wednesday, Aug. 3 at Midnight (EST).  You are being asked to join us and take time slots of what times you are able to devote to prayer for these prayer targets.  Time slots of 15 minutes or 30 minutes or if you are able to pray a whole hour.  

We are to be houses of prayer, and men and women of prayer.  This is a hard thing to find today among the church.  Many of you that are on the prayer email lists, have continued to pray, and learn and grow in the privilege of prayer.  But we are only a remnant.  There are two words in our above verse that are directly applied to this 80 hours of prayer:  pray & watching.  As I am finishing up W. Gurnall's, "Christian in Complete Armour", a 1200 piece power house of a book that Leonard Ravenhill said, "Every Christian should read this book!".  There is a section on 'watching', and the Lord revealed and spoke to me on the combination of prayer and watching.  That revelation was this, most of the  evil that has prospered and happened, is because prayer and watching was not done.  I thought and mediated on that and continue to chew on it, 'almost every, if not every,  time something happened to me against God's glory, and to my family; it was because prayer and watching was not being done."  You may not agree with that, but there is much evidence to support it.

Look at our nation.  You have heard from me repeatedly, 'as the church goes, so goes the nation'.  If the church is not a house of prayer and we are not watching for the soul of our nation, Satan will take full advancement on that.  The evidence is in front of us daily.  We hear much on prayer, not much on watching.  We struggle enough with prayer, but how much more in watching.  It bears the question and answer for all of us:  Who are you praying for daily? whose soul are you watching for?  We know the directive of Christ to the 3 disciples in the garden, 'Watch & pray".     

We are coming together for these 80 hours to seek the Lord for revival, awakening and Holy Ghost filling to the bride.  Now granted, if the Lord comes in the powerful way of revival as in other historical revivals all 3 of these things will be fulfilled.  For when God arrives in His manifest Presence upon the church, they are Spirit filled.  And they go forth and there is a great harvest of souls into the kingdom.  Thus, the reason I center more on revival than the other two.  But there have been seasons, like the Jesus Movement, that God saved many of that younger generation.  But revival didn't come to the church, for the vast majority of the church rejected these new converts.  And Spirit filled lives were remote.  

And we have known many saints that were Spirit filled, great men and women of God, that walked in the Spirit.  But there was no revival that came during their lifetime.  There was no great harvest of souls.  Even though, their labors and tears sow for those that might experience it.  C T Studd in China is an example.  God is able to deliver and do all three, that we not cut fine hairs over which of the 3 we prefer.  Do it all Lord, and do it for Your glory Name sake!

Revival - revival is simply defined as "God"!  God shows up to His people, the church.  An individual can be revived in the newness of God's Spirit and experience this Manifest Presence.  But we are seeking and talking more about when God comes upon His bride, the church.  These great testimonies of how and when God came upon His people are 'great exploits of God' among His people.  God's church has lost its way, left its first love; stopped being holy, righteous and faithful.  In revival God restores the good and right ways of His attributes.  And Revival comes and restores us in the image of Christ our Savior. "Let this mind be in you, which was in Christ Jesus.'  A church revived, impacts its community, homes/families and other churches.  There are accounts of revival, where God fell on one church, and then spread to others.  But God also fell on numerous churches in the same Sunday morning services.  God is not restrained to one set way in revival.  But this much is true in revival -- 'when God comes in revival, He does more in a few hours and days, than the church has been laboring to do in years and decades."   But this is our greatest need!  For God, because revival can only come by God's Sovereign choice, do send forth Himself to His people in fullness.  Let us ask, seek, weep, fast, and be much in prayer and watching for this great need of Revival!

Spiritual Awakening - spiritual awakening is when a lost sinner is awakened from being dead in trespasses and sins and comes to a saving knowledge of He Who is able to seek and save that which is lost.  As revival is for only the church, spiritual awakening is for the lost masses.  In many prayer meetings, where they are held weekly, there should be a cry for the lost.  Far too many in our churches have a hosts of prodigals in need of salvation.  And greater is the need of our nation, states, and cities for a work of salvation.  Do you know that the US population is 330 million souls; and it is estimated that only around 30 million are born again Christians.  But there is about 50 - 70 million under the age of accountability, and of that 70 million, 25 million are in that accountability age process of 12 - 17.  Our world is approaching 8 billion souls; 1 billion Christians estimated, 1 billion children, leaving 6 billion lost and perishing.  God's will and ways and word declares, "I would have none to perish, and none to go away from Me.'  So we seek for the lost, especially, but not limited to our loved ones and friends.

Spirit filled Churches and Christians - revival produces this; but since we have not had a revival that has impacted whole regions and areas of our nation in a long time, we seek for God's Holy Spirit to be upon us.  We all know the difference in a pulpit with a man filled with the Spirit, an anointing of the Spirit compared to an orator or teacher.  Most of us know the difference when God is near and upon us.  But there is a vast many that align with those examples in Acts, 'have you received the Holy Spirit?'  And they had no idea or understanding of this.  There are many that wrestle in the flesh in their Christian experience, largely void of the fullness of the Holy Ghost.  Far too many of the church today is based on humanism, rather the Spirit filled men and women of God.  Humanism, is the very anti-thesis of Spirit filled.  We do more today to grieve, quench, resist, deny and limit the Holy Spirit, than we do seeking to be filled with it. 

We seek to come together for 80 straight hours and crying out to God, round the clock for these 3 absolutely necessary things of our day.  We can't survive as a nation, or the church without it.  For those of you already signed up, 'THANK YOU, THANK YOU'.  I greatly appreciate you joining me in these calls and times of prayer.  If you have not signed up, this is our purpose and labor.  

Our focus for the 80 hours of prayer is the above 3 points.  But I remind you to continue and join me in praying against the below evils of epidemics upon our nation now.  Life and death, heaven and hell for many!  Pray and watch for the souls of men, our nation and our future.  

PRAYER TARGETS:
EPIDEMICS
1.  Drugs/Alcohol - 1 million drug death since 1999 in US:  death and dying from both of these;
2.  Children - abuse, neglect, raised without a knowledge of Christ Jesus; physical, emotional and sex abuse is rampant upon these;  woke culture of evil devouring them;
3.  Natural Disasters - finally saw a 7.0 earthquake in Philippine, long overdue;  an 8.0 we are also due for;  floods across parts of US, India, Iran;  while other places of extreme drought; wildfires rage globally;  hurricanes have been quiet thus far, and we shall see as we enter August and September, the height of this threat upon our nation;
4.  LGBT - continued advance upon minds, hearts, families and the soul of our nation;
5.  Pestilence - covid continues; monkey pox elevated, although over 90% happens to those of homosexual practices;  but we have seen a great increase in prayer requests for cancer in the last 3 weeks;
6.  Great Evil - we have seen a lessening of stats this past week, the Lord has allowed a great reprieve in mass shootings, murder-suicides, and police officers.  After 4 police officers were killed in 8 days, we continu8e to pray for deliverance and protection.  And the murder-suicides and mass shootings we have prayed for minds and hearts that the evil Satan whispers and pulls them into would be removed and restrained.  And we have seen God hear and answer this prayer greatly.  Continue in prayer brethren
7.  Economy - officially now a recession; an eminent collapse is near; shortages, impacts will be hard;
