  The Activity of God

Going through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, phrase by phrase and word by word to give attention to the following:
--the Names of God;
--the word & deeds of God;
--the sayings of God;
--the attributes of God;

Too often the churches weakness and the Christians weakness is found in this one sin, 'we do not know God'.  We have not studied the Bible, nor Him to learn more of Him.  Seeking that this might be a help for myself and others in this pursuit that each of us 'may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.

I JOHN   

Chapter 1

1:1      That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;       God's creation form the beginning;  God's creation heard and seen and handled with hands;  God's Word of life;  God created life;  And God said/spoke;

1:2      (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)    God is giver of life;  God gives eternal life;  God the Father is life;  God made eternal life manifest to men;

1:3     That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you that ye also may have fellowship with us:  and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.     God's eternal life declared to men;  God's church to witness to have fellowship among brethren;  God the Father to have fellowship with HIs servants;  God's Son, Jesus Christ;  Christ to have fellowship with HIs servants;

1:4    And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.    God's truth written;  And God said/spoke;  God's children to have full joy in Him;

1:5     This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God in light, and in Him is no darkness at all.     Christ message spoken and heard;  Christ messaged declared to men;  God is light;  God has no darkness at all;   And God said/spoke;

1:6     If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.     Christ servants to have fellowship with Him;  Christ's servant to not walk in darkness;  Christ's servants to not lie;  Christ's servants to do HIs truth;  And God said/spoke;

1:7     But if we walk in the light as HE is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.    Christ is the Light;  Christ's servants walk in His Light;  Christ's servants have fellowship one with another;  Christ blood cleanseth us from all sin;  Christ is the Son of God;

1:8      IF we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.    Christ servants shouldn't say they have no sin and be deceived;  Christ truth not in such that say and believe this way;  And God said/spoke;

1:9      If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.     Christ servants confess their sins;  Christ is faithful;  Christ is just;  Christ forgives sins;  Christ cleanses servants from all unrighteousness;

1:10     If we say that we have not sinned; we make Him a liar, and HIs Word is not in us.      Christ servants to not say that they have not sinned;  God made a liar if men say such things;  God's Word not in liars;  And God said/spoke;

Chapter 2

2:1      My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.  And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:      God's children;  God's truths written unto them;  And God said/spoke;   God's children to not sin;  God the Father's Advocate, Jesus Christ;  Christ is righteous;  Christ is Advocate for us;     

2:2      And He is the propitiation for our sins and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.     Christ is propitiation for sin of whole world; 

2:3      And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.    the Lord commanded;  Christ to be known;  God's commandments kept; 

2:4     He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in Him.    Christ to be known;  God's commandments to be kept;  Christ truth not in liars that keep not His commands;

2:5     But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of God, perfected:  hereby know we that we are in Him.    God's word kept;  And God said/spoke;  God's love in them;  God's love perfects;  God's children known that they are in Him;  God in them;

2:6      He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.    Christ abided in;  Christ' servants that say they abide in Him should walk as He walked;  Christ walk;  Christ abided in, 

2:7      Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had form the beginning.  The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.     the Lord commanded (2);  God's commands written and heard;  God's word; And God said/spoke;  God's word and commands from the beginning;

2:8     Again, I a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in Him and in you because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.     God's commands;  And God said/spoke;  God's word written;  God's is true;  God's word is true;  God's word in His servants;  God's is true light that shines;  God's puts away darkness;

2:9     He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.    God's light;  God's servants that say they are in His light and hates their brother is still in darkness;

2:10      He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in Him.    Christ's servants love the brethren;  Christ's servants in the light of Christ;  Christ abiding in His servants there is not stumbling among them;

2:11      But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.    God's servants that hate their brothers are in darkness and walk in darkness and know not where they are going;

2:12     I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for HIs Name's sake.    God's truths written;  God's little children;  God forgives sins;  Christ's Name sake sins are forgiven;

2:13     I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning.  I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one.  I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.     God's word written (3);  And God said/spoke;  God's saints as fathers, little children and young men;  God in the beginning;  God's children overcome wicked one in Christ;   God known;  God the Father known;

2:14    I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning.  I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.     God's word written to His children (2);  And God said/spoke;  God known;  God from the beginning;  God's word abide in His children;  God's children are strong;  God's children overcome the wicked one in Him and through Him;

2:15      Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.  If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.     God's children instructed to not love world or things in world;  God the Father's love not in those that love world;

2:16       For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.    God the Father;  God's children of world and lusts of flesh, eyes and pride of life against God;

2:17       And the world passeth away and the lusts thereof:  but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.      God declares world and lusts will pass away, when He destroys it all;  I will's of God to be done;  God's children to do HIs will;  God's promises these children will abide with Him for ever;  God is for ever;

2:18      Little children, it is the last time:  and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.    God's little children;   God revealing last times;  God warns of antichrists already present;

2:19      They went out form us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no  doubt have continued with us:  but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.     God warns of those that go out from them that they were never of them;  God's children to continue with the body of Christ;  God declares that they went out to reveal they were not of the bride of Christ;

2:20      But ye have an unction from the Holy One and ye know all things.    God's Holy Ghost;  God's children have unction from Holy Ghost;  God's Spirit makes them know all things;  God's children to know all things in Him and through Him;

2:21      I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.     God's word written to church;  God's church knows the truth;  God's truth has no lies;  and God said/spoke;

2:22      Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?  He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.     Christ Jesus denied;  God warns of antichrist;  God the Father and the Son denied by antichrist;     

2:23       Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:  but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.      Christ denied;  God the Father is not of them;  God denied;  Christ acknowledged;  God the Father is with these that acknowledge Son;

2:24      Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning.  If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.    God's truth to abide in His children;  God's truth heard (2);  God's truth remain followers;  God the Father and Son they shall continue in them;  

2:25     And this is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life.    God promised;  And God said/spoke;  God gives eternal life;

2:26      These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.    God's truth written;  and God said/spoke;   God's children warned of them that seduce them;

2:27     But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you:  but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.      God gives anointing;  God's anointing abide in His children;  God's children to be taught of Him;  God teaches truth;  God is truth;  and God said/spoke;  God to abide in by His children;

2:28     And now, little children, abide in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.     God's little children to abide in Him;  Christ shall appear;  God's children to have confidence and not ashamed before Him;  God comes and we shall appear before Him;  Christ coming;

2:29       If ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of Him.      God is righteous;  God's children ;know He is righteous;  God's children to be righteous;  God births His children and they are righteous;

Chapter 3

3:1      Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God:  therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.      God's manner of love, God is love;  God bestows love on His children;  God calls us the sons of God;  God's sons in the faith;

3:2     Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when HE shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as HE is.     God's sons;  God's sons to appear when He comes again; Christ appears again;  God's sons shall be like Him;  Christ seen;  God the Father and Christ is, I AM that I AM;

3:3      And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.     Christ is hope of men;  Christ's followers purify themselves in Him;  Christ is pure;

3:4      Whosoever committeth sin trangresseth also the law:  for sin is the transgressing of the law.     God's law transgressed;  God knows those that commit sin;  God's law broken by those that sin; And God said/spoke;

3:5     And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.    Christ made known to take away our sins;  Christ has no sin, no sin in Him;

3:6     Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not:  whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him.    Christ abided in;  Christ's followers sin not, as long as they are abiding in Him;  Christ sinned against;  Christ not seen; Christ not known;

3:7       Little children, let no man deceive you:  he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.     God's children;  God's children warned to be not deceived;  God's is righteous and His children do righteousness;  Christ is righteous;

3:8      He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.  For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.      God warns of those that sin are of the devil;  Christ is Son of God manifested to destroy works of devil;  Christ purpose;

3:9       Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for HIs seed remaineth in Him:  and He cannot sin, because he is born of God.    God's children born of Him;  God's children do not commit sin;  Christ seed remains in His Own;  

3:10     In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:  whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.      God's children;  God's children manifest whose they are;  God's children do righteousness;  God's children love the brethren;;  God defines who is His and who is not His;

3:11      For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.     God's message;   God's message heard from beginning;  And God said/spoke;  God's children love one another;

3:12      Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother.  And wherefore slew he him?  Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.     God declares wicked and righteous;  God's righteous ones do good works;  

3:13      Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.     God's brethren;  God's children warned of world hating them;

3:14      WE know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren.  He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.    God's children pass from death to life;   God's brethren love one another;  Gods warns of those that love not the brethren abide in death;   

3:15      Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer:  and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.      God declares those that hat their brothers are murderers;  God declares no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him;   God's eternal life;

3:16       Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us:  and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.      God's love perceived;  Christ laid down His life for us;  Christ's followers to lay down their lives for the brethren;  God's brethren;

3:17       But whoso hath the world's good, and seeth his brother have need; and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love3 of God in him?     God's love abides in His Own; God's brethren have compassion on those in need;  God's love dwells in His Own;  

3:18       My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.     God's little children;  God's children warned what not to do;  God's children to love in deed and truth;  God's works;  God's truth, God's word;  And God said/spoke;

3:19      And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.      God's truth;  God's word;  And God said/spoke;   God's children of the God's truth;  God assure the hearts of His children before Him;  God before;

3:20     For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.     God's children hearts condemned;  God is greater than our hearts;  God knows all things; Omniscient;

3:21      Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.     God's beloved hearts not condemned;  God children have confidence unto Him and in Him;

3:22     And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep Him commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.    God gives what His children asked;  the Lord commanded;  God's commandments kept by His children;  God's children do those commands;  Please God;  God's sight;  

3:23       And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.     The Lord commanded (2);  God's command;  God's Son, Jesus Christ;  Christ Name - His Son Jesus Christ;  God's children love one another;  God gives;  God's children believe on Christ;

3:24      And he that keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him, and HE in him.  And hereby we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us.     The Lord commanded;  God's commands kept by His children;  God dwell in them that keep His commands;  God's children dwell in Him;  God abides in us;  God's Holy Spirit abides in us;  God hath given us His Spirit;

Chapter 4

4:1       Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.      God's beloved;  God's children instructed to try the spirits whether they are of God;  God's children warned of false prophets in the world;

4:2      Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:  Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.      God's Spirit known;  Christ Name - Jesus Christ;  Christ confessed that HE is come in the flesh;  God's spirits that confess Christ is come in the flesh;

4:3      And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:  and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come:  and even now, already is it in the world.      Christ not confessed that He is come in the flesh;  Christ come in the flesh;  God knows those that are not of Him;  God's children warned of antichrist;  

4:4     Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:  because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.      God's little children;  God gives His children power to overcome;  God is greater;  God in His children;  God greater than spirit of this world;

4:6       WE are of God:  He that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us.  Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.      God's children;  God known;  God hears;  God's gospel heard and known;  God knows those that hear and are not HIs Own;  God's spirit of truth;  God's word;  And God said/spoke;  God's children warned to know the spirit of error, not of God.

4:7      Beloved, let us love one another:  for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.    God's beloved;  God's beloved love one another;  God is love;  God's children born of Him;  God known of them;  God's children love;

4:8     HE that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.     God not known;  God declares those that love not, know not Him;  God is love;

4:9     In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.     God's love manifested toward His Own;  God sent His Son into world;  God's only begotten Son;  Christ is only Begotten Son of God;  Christ lived through;

4:10     Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.     God loved us;  God sent His Son for us;  Christ is propitiation for our sins;  Christ is God's Son;

4:11     Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.     God's beloved;  God loved us;  God's children love one another;

4:12      No man hath seen God at any time.  IF we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and HIs love is perfected in us.     God not seen at any time;  God's children love one another;  God dwells in His children;  God's loves perfected in His believers;

4:13       Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit.   God's children dwell in Him;  God dwells in His children;  God gives His Spirit;  God's Spirit dwells in His believers;

4:14      And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.    God's children see and testify of God the Father sending the Son to be Saviour of world;  God the Father sent the Son;  Christ Jesus the Son of God;  Christ is the Saviour of world;

4:15     Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.    Christ confessed by His children that He is the Son of God;  Christ is Son of God;  God's Son, Jesus;  God dwells in believers;  God's children dwell in Him;

4:16      And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.  God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.    God's children know and believe in God's love to them;  God loves to HIs children;  God is love;  God's children love;  God's children dwell in Him;  God dwells in them;

4:17      Herein our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:  because as He is, so are we in this world.    God's children love made perfect;  God's day of judgement;  God's children made bold for day of judgement by love made perfect in Him;  God is;  God's children are same in this world as He is;

4:18      There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:  because fear hath torment.  He that feareth is not made perfect in love.     God's children in perfect love cast out fear;  God's children perfect love not there if fear is there;

4:19      We love Him, because He first loved us.    God loved by His children;  God loved us first;

4:20      If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar:  for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?     God loved proclaimed by men that hate their brother;  God declares them to be liars;  God loved by those who see Him not;  God's children cannot love Him, if they hate their brothers;

4:21      And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.     the Lord commanded;  God commanded that we love one another;  God loved;  God's children love their brethren;

Chapter 5

5:1       Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God:  and every one that loveth Him that begat loveth Him also that is begotten of Him.     Christ followers believe Jesus is Christ born of God;  God's born again believers;  God's Son is Jesus the Christ;  God loved;  Christ begotten of the Father;  Christ loved for being begotten of the Father;  Christ followers love the brethren begotten of Father and Son;

5:2     By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments.      the Lord commanded;  God's commands kept by those that love Him;  God loved;  God's children know by those that love one another;

5:3      For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments:  and His commandments are not grievous.     God's love;  the Lord commanded (2);  God's children keep His commands;  God's commands are not grievous to His children;

5:4      For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:  and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.      God's children born of Him;  God's children overcome the world;  God's children's faith in Him give victory of overcoming the world;

5:5     Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?    God's children through Him overcome the world, as HE overcame the world;  God's Son is Jesus;  Christ believed on by believers that He is the Son of God;  Christ believed on and they overcome in Him;

5:6       This is He that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood.  And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.     Christ came by water and blood in flesh to this world;   Jesus is the Christ; God's Holy Spirit bears witness that Jesus came by water and blood and is the Christ;  Holy Ghost is truth;  God's word is truth;  And God said/spoke;

5:7       For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one.     God bears record in heaven;  God is the Father, Word, and Holy Ghost;  God's Trinity are One;

5:8       And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood and these three agree in one.      God's spirit bears witness on earth;  God's witness borne by Spirit, water and blood;  God's witness on earth agrees in one;

5:9      If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater:  for this is the witness of God which He hath testified of His Son.      God's children receive witness of His they are;  God's witness is greater than men's;   God's witness;  God testifies of His Own Son;  God the Father bears witness of His Own Son;  Christ is God's Son;

5:10       He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself:  he hat believeth not God hath made Him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of His Son.     Christ is the Son of God;  Christ believed on by His children;   Christ's followers hath witness of believing  on Him;  God made liar by those that believe not on Him;  God not believed on;  God gave record of His Son;  Christ is God's Son;  God's word is His record;  And God said/spoke;  God's record of Christ not believed;

5:11      And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.    God's record;  God's word is record;  And God said/spoke;   God has given eternal life;  Christ is God's Son;  God's Son gives eternal life to believers;

5:12      HE that hat the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.     God's children has the Son;  Christ is life;  God's children have life in Christ;  God's Son not received;  God does not give these unbelievers life;

5:13      These things have I written unto you that believe on the Name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the Name of the Son of God.     God's truth written;  And God said/spoke;  Christ is God's Son (2);  Christ Name believed on;  God's children know they have eternal life in Him;  Christ Name believed on;  

5:14      And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us:    God's children have confidence in Him;  God asked for any thing according to His will;  I will's of God;  God hears us;

5:15      And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.    God hears;  God's children know that He hears;  God asked;  God gives petitions asked for;  God gives things desired by His children;

5:16       If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.  There is a sin unto death:  I do not say that he shall pray for it.     God's children see one another sin;  God's children pray for them that sin;  God asked;  God give life to those that sinned  a sin not unto death;  God warns of sin unto death;  God's children instructed to not pray for that sin unto death;

5:17      All unrighteousness is sin:  and there is a sin not unto death.     God warns of all unrighteousness being sin;  God declares there is sin not unto death;

5:18      We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.      God's children born of Him;  God's children sin not;  God's begotten;  God's children keep themselves from sin;  God's children kept from wicked one who cannot touch them;  God's children protected form wicked one;

5:19     And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.     God's children know they are His;  God's Own;  

5:20      And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in HIs Son Jesus Christ.  This is the true God, and eternal life.     Christ Jesus is the Son of God;  God's Son;  Christ is come;  Christ has given understanding;  Christ is true;  Christ is known by His followers;  Christ believers in Him;  Christ Name - His Son Jesus Christ;  Christ is the Son of God;  God is true;  God truth is eternal life in Christ Jesus;

5:21      Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.      God's church referenced as little children;  God's children to abstain and keep themselves from idols;

II JOHN

Verses
Verse 1     The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;       God's elders;  God's church Name, elect lady and her children;  God's children loved in His truth;  God's truth they are in and follow and know;  God's children love the truth of God;  God's truth, Word;  And God said/spoke;

Verse 2      For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.     God's truth in Christ Jesus, Word;  And God said/spoke;  God's truth dwell ins HIs children;  God's word of truth with them for ever;

Verse 3      Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.      God the Father;  God the Son;  Christ Name - Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father;  God's grace, mercy and peace unto His children from God the Father and Jesus Christ;  

Verse 4      I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.     Gods' children found walking in His truth;  God's truth, Word;  And God said/spoke;   the Lord commanded;  God's commandments received;

Verse 5      And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.     God's elder beseeches church;  God's church referenced as lady;  God's commands;  God's children love one another;  

Verse 6      And this is love, that we walk after His commandments.  This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.     God's love;  God's commandments;  the Lord commanded;  God's children walk in His commands;  God's children hear and walk in His commands;

Verse 7     For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.  This is a deceiver and an antichrist.     God's warning to His children, that there are many deceivers in the world;  Christ Jesus not confessed by these deceivers;   Christ Jesus has come in the flesh, not confessed by these deceivers;

Verse 8      Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.      God's church instructed to look unto themselves;  God's children to not lose those things that had been wrought in them;  God's children to receive full reward if they keep these things;

Verse 9       Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.  He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.     Christ doctrine transgress and not abided in;  God not of them;  Christ doctrine abided in;  God the Father, God the Son;  God abides in those that have Christ doctrine;

Verse 10      If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:       God warns those that have not Christ doctrine;  God's children to not receive them, nor bid them God speed;  God speed;  God speed not bidden to them that have not Christ doctrine;

Verse 11       For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.     God speed;  God's children warned that if they issue God speed then they partake of their evil deeds;

Verse 12       Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink:  but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.     God's word written;  And God said/spoke;  God's elders visit face to face;  God's children's joy full;

Verse 13      The children of thy elect sister greet thee.  Amen.     God's children, the church;  God's elect, sister;  God's children greet one another;    

III JOHN

Verses

Verse 1    The elder unto the well-beloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.     God's elders;  God's well-beloved servants in the church;  God's truth in believers;  God's word is truth;  And God said/spoke;  God's children love one another;

Verse 2      Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.     God's beloved;  God's children prosper and be in health desired for one another;  God's children souls to prosper;

Verse 3       For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.     God's children rejoice of truth in one another;  God's truth, the word;  And God said/spoke;  God's brethren;  God's truth in believers testified of each other;  God's children walking in truth;

Verse 4      I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.    God's children great joy;  God's children walking in truth;  God's truth, word;  And God said/spoke;

Verse 5      Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;     God's beloved;  God's brethren are faithful in doing for the brethren and to strangers;  

Verse 6     Which have born witness of thy charity before the church:  whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:      God's church bears witness;  God's children bear witness of charity, love;  God's children brought forward in their journey after godliness;  God's children to do well;

Verse 7      Because that for His Name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.    Christ Names sake, Jesus Christ, Savior and Lord;  God's church for Christ Name sake went forth;  God's children take nothing of Gentiles;

Verse 8      WE therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.    God's children to receive such;  God's fellowhelpers;  God's children unto the truth of God, Word;  And God said/spoke;

Verse 9      I wrote unto the church:  but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.     God's church wrote unto;  And God said/spoke;  God's elders received not;  

Verse 10      Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words:  and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.      God's elders to come and address issues in church;  God's servants evil spoken of;   God's brethren not received;  God's servants cast out of the church by ungodly leaders;

Verse 11     Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but htat which is good.  He that doeth good is of God:  but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.      God's beloved;  Gods' beloved warned to not follow evil;  God's beloved to follow good;  God's children do good;   God not seen nor known by those that do evil;

Verse 12    Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself:  yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.      God's servants have good report of all men;  God's servants abide and keep God's truth, Word;  And God said/spoke;  God's servants bear record,   God's servants records are true;  

Verse 13      I had many things to write, but I will not with ink and pen write unto thee:     God's church written;  And God said/spoke;  God's servant not write of many things to brethren;

Verse 14      But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face.  Peace be to thee.  Our friends salute thee.  Greet the friends by name.     God's servants to come together;  God's servants to see one another face to face;  God's peace to all the church;  God's children salute one another in the church;  Gods' children as friends greet one another by name;

JUDE

Verses

Verses 1      Jude the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:      Christ Jesus servants;  God the Father sanctifies His children;  Christ Jesus preserves them;  God calls them;

Verse 2   Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.     God's mercy, peace and love be multiplied to His church;   God's attributes that proceed form Him to them;

Verse 3      Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.     God's beloved;  God's word written to saints;  God's salvation;  And God said/spoke;   God's children exhorted to earnestly contend for the faith;  God's people have faith in Him;  God's faith delivered unto the saints through the Gospel;  God's saints;

Verse 4      For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.     God's warning to HIs church of men creeping in unbeknownst;  God warns of these that before were old ordained to condemnation, ungodly men;   God's grace turned into lasciviousness;  God the Lord, and Christ Jesus denied;

Verse 5      I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.      God's church to remember;  God's people knew these things;  God saved Israel out of Egypt;  God destroyed those that believed not;

Verse 6      And the angels that kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.     God's angels that kept not their first estate;  God's angels that left their own habitation;  God reserves everlasting chains under darkness for them;  God's great day of judgement against them;

Verse 7       Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.     God gives Sodom and Gomorrha and other cities destruction as an example;  God's vengeance of eternal fire upon the wicked;

Verse 8      Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.     God declares and warns what these wicked ones do and act, evil and flesh;

Verse 9      Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.     God's archangel;  God's angels content with the devil in dispute;  God rebuke the devil;

Verse 10   God's warning of what the wicked do and how they behave;

Verse 11      Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.     God pronounces woe upon these wicked ones;  God declares who they are like and what they do and how;

Verse 12     These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear; clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead plucked up by the roots:     God's church has spots in their feasts of charity;  God's church has these wicked ones feasting with them;  God's church warned of these that are without fear;  God illustrates they are clouds with no rain, trees whose fruit withers and without fruit;  God's warning of those twice dead;  God shall pluck them up by roots;

Verse 13   God's warning to these wicked ones of whom is reserved hell of darkness for ever;

Verse 14     And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints,       God's saints of Enoch and Adam;  God's servants prophesize;  And God said/spoke;   God comes with HIs saints;  God's saints;

Verse 15      To execute judgment upon all and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.     God executes judgements upon all these ungodly;  God describes their ungodliness among us;  God spoken against;

Verse 16   God describes and warns of the wicked evil ones;

Verse 17      But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;      God's beloved;  God's children to remember words spoken unto apostles;  Gods' apostles;  And God said/spoke;  Christ Name - Lord Jesus Christ;  Christ apostles spoken to before;

Verse 18      How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.     Gods' servants warned of what shall be in the last time;  And God said/spoke;  God's church told;

Verse 19     These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.    God's Spirit not among them;  Holy Ghost is not with them;  God warns of wicked ones;

Verse 20      But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.     God's beloved;  God's church to build themselves up in holy faith;  Gods' holy faith;  Holy Ghost prayed in;  God's church in faith prays in the Holy Ghost;

Verse 21       Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.     God's church warned to keep themselves in God's love;   God's love;  God's children looking for mercy of Lord Jesus Christ;  Christ Name - Lord Jesus Christ;  Christ gives mercy for eternal life;

Verse 22      And of some have compassion, making a difference:     God's church to have compassion;  God's church to make a difference;

Verse 23      And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.     Gods' church to save with fear;  Gods' servants to pull them out of the fire;  God's church to hate their garments spotted by flesh;

Verse 24      Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the Presence of His glory with exceeding joy,     God si able;  Omnipotent;  God keeps His children from falling;  Christ present us faultless before His Presence;  Gods' Presence of glory;  God's Presence present before His glory with exceeding joy;   God's church with exceeding joy in HIs glory;

Verse 25      To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.  Amen.     God is only wise One;  God our Savior, Jesus Christ;  Christ glory and majesty, dominion and power;  God's glory and attributes for ever;  God is eternal;
