PRAYER EMAIL - MAY 14

 Greetings,

"Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved:  for Thou art my praise."  Jeremiah 17:14

Three specific directives in this verse, much of which we need today.  "Heal us O God'; "Save us O God'; and 'receive our praise O God'.  

Heal us - God is Omnipotent; and if He gestures with His right hand, or speaks the words, 'Be healed', then all disease shall be healed.  But the physical needs, although always present are not the focus.  Yea, the physical disease is due to the spiritual need of healing.   The Apostle Paul, warned the church not to take of the communion table, for when they ate and drank unworthily, disease and death was sent.  When Moses told the children of Israel, that if they obeyed and kept God's commands, none of the disease would God put upon them.  Yea, the very fact that physical disease is present is sin.  "For we have all sinned and come short of His glory'; 'all have been born in sin'.    Yet, just as in the Gospels, when Christ and the Apostles in Acts demonstrated, they have the power of God to heal all diseases.   But what good does it do to be healed physically if the spiritual disease is still present?

Our spiritual disease is sin.  We are rebellious, disobedient and have refused to 'take heed' to our ways before God.  The nation is as sick as it ever has been.  Filled with disease of evil and wickedness that has altered the minds and hearts of men.  Abominations, evil accepted and received as a blessed thing; all the while the good and right is abhorred and refused as evil.   This is what is looks like, without God, the fear of God.  And there is only one remedy, "Heal us O God and we shall be healed."  There is absolutely no question in God's power to heal; it solely lies on whether we will cry out for Him to heal us and specifically request the healing of our minds, hearts and souls.  For therein is the great affliction and disease of men.  

Heal the church O God - As the church goes, so goes the nation.  The reason the nation is so sick and dying, is the church is sick and dying.   Ravenhill - 'the reason hell fire is consuming, is because the church has lost Holy Ghost fire'.   Heal us O God, we need Thee!  Pour out on us Your Holy Spirit.  As the old song says, 'Send the fire'.  But make sure you request, not to consume us, as fire does; but to purify us and enflame us for His kingdom business and Name sake.    If the church gets healed, the lost souls shall be saved and the Lord glorified.   

Save us -   "There is no other Name given under heaven whereby men might be saved, but that Name, Jesus."   The great petition of the disciples, in the midst of the storm, thinking they was going to drown and perish, 'save us O Lord'.  And we see the masses, yea over 85% of our 330 million population without Christ this day.  SAve us O God, we perish.  All the deaths, dying, murders, suicides, drug overdose deaths all taking men out of this world into eternity.  An eternity that they have never prepared for.  Family, friends, church folks, co-workers, school mates, all perishing and in need of God to save.  For no man can come to the Father, unless He draws them.   Draw them Father, convict them Holy One and save them blessed Jesus.  For does not His Name invoke salvation, 'thou shalt call His Name, Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins."  Save them, save us for our sins, Christ our Lord!  We perish, and there is none other to deliver or rescue us.  "Pass me not, O Gentle Saviour, hear my humble cry, while on others Thou art calling, please don't pass me by.'   

And if petition, seek and find and call upon Him to heal and save, what does the rest of the phrases say, 'the Lord shall do it.'   If God do His part, with great authority and power, so should we do our part.   Cry out for we need the Great Physicians touch; we need the Great Redeemers touch.  For He is able to heal and save.  No other place do we need to look or seek, just in Him.  Enter into His throne of grace, for there we may obtain His Divine grace to help in this time of need.  And oh, what a time of need!   Healing and salvation, so closely linked together.  One producing the other, and only God can help us.  No government, no man, no movement, no means, not methods, only God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.   Seek, call, wait, plead, weep and mourn for herein is our only hope of healing and salvation.  For if God does not do it, it will not ever be done.  

Praise Him - He is worthy of all praise, honor and glory.  His Name is worthy to be lifted up and praised.  Thanksgiving abounds from His servants that knows He is the God that heals and saves, and is to be worshipped.  Great praises go forth from those gathered around the throne and great praise from His beloved church that sees and knows Who He is.  All the attributes, all the Names, all the works and deeds that He has done, is doing and will do, 'Receive Your worthy praise Father, Son and Holy Spirit.'

Almost always in all prayer of corporate and secret closet, I believe firmly in starting with praise.   For when we recognize Him for Who He is, praise begins.  And when we are aware of these truths, no matter what our confession, petition, supplication or intercession will be, HE is able.  Whether He heals or not, whether He saves or not; He is God.  His ways are right and good; 'Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?'  Yes He has and will do right.  No matter what, praise the Lord.  No matter your opinion or thoughts, praise Him.   No matter your will or desires or not, praise Him.  No matter what is or what will be, let the will of the Lord be done, and be content in this.  He is righteous and faithful evermore.    

SOLEMN ASSEMBLY - JUNE 5
On June 5, at Fox's Hollow at 2 PM, we will be hosting a Solemn Assembly for that church as well as to live stream for others to join us.   It is needed that other churches hosts their own solemn assembly; and then the community hosts one.  The Solemn Assembly is set for renewing covenant and vows unto the Lord, where the church, families and individuals have fallen short.  And the need to recognize that the atrocities of our communities and society is because we have not sought nor found the Lord.  The church should know these truths and engage.   Join us and hosts your own!

EPIDEMICS:
Each of these are God's judgements or the cause of God judgements on our nation;  All interwoven of our society and the churches failure.   A nation now of death and dying.  And truly only a Divine work of God and visitation will stop this rapid increase toward our demise and removal from the earth.   

1.  Drugs/Alcohol; 2.   Natural Disasters;  3.  LGBT; 4.  Pestilence;  5.  Children;  6.  Great Evil;  7.  Economy;

UPDATE:
--Bible readings - finished John, into Acts;  word study fear/afraid;  T - 18 days, should finish by end of month;
--The Activity of God - finished I & II Timothy, Titus and Philemon;  into Hebrews;  T - 50 pages to go, looking like July to finish;
--A Word blog - up through Jeremiah 17;  finished all of chapter 16 verses;
--Thursday Hour of Prayer - two weeks I have had to cancel;  hopefully God allows me to get back on track next week;  
--Monday Bible study - had to cancel this week as well, doing roof work and it got the best of me physically, (I'm not as young as I think I am);   get back to services next week, John 18;
--Keyser Church & Fox's Hollow church services Sunday;  Solemn Assembly - June 5 at Fox's Hollow;
--Pastors Prayer we will have to cancel this weeks 3rd Sunday prayer time, due to high school graduation baccalaureate;
