PRAYER EMAIL - APIL 11

 Greetings,
"What have I done?"   Jeremiah 8:6
The children of Judah are facing the great wrath of God at this time in chapter 8 of Jeremiah.  They had continued to refuse God's instruction from His prophet, which was Jeremiah and others.   God sending HIs prophets  'rising up early and sending them; but they would not listen nor obey."   And now God is getting ready to bring full judgement upon them.  The remedial judgements have passed and now they are facing final judgement.  Remedial judgements are sent for the people to recognize God's sore displeasure with them and to repent and return Him.  If they do this, the judgements cease and end; if they don't, they increase to 7X worse (Lev. 26).   Final judgement is when God has given more than enough time, invitations and opportunities to repent and time is up.   Now God will send forth His full fury and anger and wrath upon them, bringing them to their end.  Life as they have known it, will be no more.  

And as God, through His prophet, declares wherein their great abominations are.  He is very specific, as He is Omniscient and Omnipresent, to know what they have done, said and thought.  God knows the very intent of why we do what we do.   God had specifically told them that He had seen their idolatry.  He had heard their false pleas to Him in His temple, and those offensive words against Him as they pledged to false gods.  He had seen their sexual sins of fornication among these false gods; the adulteries of neighbors within the cities, neighing after each other like horses.   He knew their hearts had departed from Him and stated, that they had 'forsaken and forgotten Him.'  God knew their abominations and clearly detailed them to them.  And now they would reap what they had sown.  

And are we not here?  In our lifetime, reaping constant abominations and sins.  Abortion - legalized; 70 million deaths.  Drugs & Alcohol legalized, used by the majority in the churches and out, last year 205,000 deaths US.   Murders and suicides - over 100,000 deaths.  We are a nation reaping death for what we have sown against the Lord.   How troubling this is and the extent of its impact, and yet they ask, 'what have I done?"   "Wherein is my offence against the Lord?"   They are so ignorant that they do not know the sins that they have committed against Him, His word, His ways and His will.  We are found in a society, within the church and out, that they have not been taught, nor do they know good and evil.  Thus, the reason that they can say, without blushing, or shame, that good is evil, and evil is good.  

What have I done?  one of the great questions in the Bible.  Usually used for us to do introspection of our place in service to the Lord.  But here it is about, those that are claiming ignorance as to what they have done against the Lord.  And as much as we must know what we are doing and not doing - 'for to him that knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.'    As much, it is for these of our churches, cities, families that they know wherein their sins lie.  'Cause them to know their abomination.'   A word preached, taught, prayed and set forth as true to Scripture, as one can be.  Here is the high costs of sin against the Lord.  That they may be without excuse.  


PRAYER TARGETS:
EPIDEMICS:
1.  Drugs/Alcohol - 205,000 deaths in last year of drugs and alcohol;  every county, every city, every family, and every church will deal with death and dying in this abomination;  why do we always wait till after they die to rally a prayer cry for God's help?   Pray now before the death.

3.  LGBT - 

4.  Natural Disasters - this will be the 4th week of  tornados and hail in the south & a blizzard in the north (record);   loss of life has been minimal, but property damages extensive;  drought conditions in US still at over 60%;  world wide famine is increasing each week;  and with war in Ukraine, greater food shortages;

5.  Pestilence -  covid has bottomed out in US;  but still raging in South Korea, Germany and Italy;  but US still running highest death rates per day; 

6.  Great Evil - with the last several week, some of the greatest numbers of mass shootings; by God's mercy not more mass murders, as most recently in Sacramento (5);  New York (16); Iowa (10); Texas (15); CA (12);   this is increasing and heading to greater loss of life and more mass murders;   murder-suicides are inching upwards as well to 2 per day;  police officers at 20 shot and killed thus far this year;    All these stats continue to increase.   Raging death and more blood that defiles the land.   Church should arise to counter this flood of evil.

--The Activity of God - finished Galatians/Ephesians;  staring into Philippians/Colossians; T - 77 pages to go;
--Monday Bible study - up into John 17;
--Thursday Hour of Prayer - will not be any live stream for 4/14; 
--A Word blog - Jeremiah 16;  finished up all chapter 12 - 15;  working on chapter 11;
--Sunday services at Keyser Church at 10 AM; licensed Philip Biser for ministry this past Sunday;  Fox's Hollow services - SS at 2 PM currently doing verse by verse in Revelation;  worship at 3 PM;
--Pastor's in Keyser area going to meet twice a week for prayer;  last session we did round table and prayer all together;  gearing up for NDP, May 5 at 6 PM;

CONTINUE IN PRAYER #2 Invite Letter for 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC

 Greetings, "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;" Colossians 4;2 We are just under one month away from our "100 Hours of Prayer for SBC". We are set to gather as many from SBC life to have a continual spirit of prayer for the work of God to be done in us and through us. The work of God does not come about by the means of men, but by prevailing prayer. Oh, that every SBC church, over 40,000 were to be powerhouses of prayer for the kingdom of God. Truly such a spirit of prayer would enrich the church to accomplish much of the kingdoms business around the world.
