THE ACTIVITY OF GOD IN THE BIBLE - II CORINTHAINS

 The Activity of God

Going through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, phrase by phrase and word by word to give attention to the following:
--the Names of God;
--the word & deeds of God;
--the sayings of God;
--the attributes of God;

Too often the churches weakness and the Christians weakness is found in this one sin, 'we do not know God'.  We have not studied the Bible, nor Him to learn more of Him.  Seeking that this might be a help for myself and others in this pursuit that each of us 'may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.

II CORINTHIANS
Chapter 1
1:1      Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:    Christ apostles;  I will's of God to appoint apostles;  God's will to appoint apostles for church;  God's church at Corinth;  God's saints;
1:2      Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.    God's grace;  God's peace to His children;  God the Father;  Christ Name - Lord Jesus Christ;  God the Son;
1:3      Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort:    God blessed;  God the Father;  God the Father of Jesus Christ;  Christ Name - Lord Jesus Christ;  God the Father of mercies;  God of all comfort;
1:4     Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.    God comforts His children in their tribulation;  God comforts us;
1:5      For as the sufferings of Christ about in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.   Christ sufferings in His followers;  Christ consolations also abound in His followers;
1:6     And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer:  or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.     God's followers afflicted;  God gives consolation and salvation to endure sufferings of His followers;  God's comfort through His consolation and salvation to His followers;
1:7      And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.     Christ followers partakes in His sufferings;  Christ consolations partaken by His followers;
1:9      that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God, which raiseth the dead:     God is to be trusted in;  God raises the dead;
1:10     Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver:  in whom we trust that He will yet deliver us.    God delivers from death;   God trust to deliver them;  I will's of God to deliver;
1:11      Ye also helping together by prayer for us that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many person thanks may be given by many on our behalf.    God prayed to for brethren;  God bestows gifts upon His children;
1:12      but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you ward.     God's grace;  God's children express His grace in them in word and witness;
1:14     even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.    Christ day of return;  Christ day of rejoicing in them;
1:18     But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.     God is true;
1:19      For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silas, and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in Him was yea.    God's Son, Jesus Christ;  Christ preached among them; God's servants preached Christ to them;  Christ is yes and amen;
1:20      For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.    God's promises are yea and Amen;  God's promises in Him;  God's glory through His servants they are given;
1:21      Now He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God.     Christ stablished them with them in Christ;  Christ is with them;  Christ established it;  God anointed them;
1:22       Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.     God sealed them;  God's Spirit give earnestness in their hearts to Him;
1:23      Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.    God called upon to record;
1:24     Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy:  for by faith ye stand.    God's children have faith in Him;  God's helpers for their joy;  God's children stand by faith in Him;
Chapter 2
2:7    God's church ordered to forgive and comfort such a one taken in sin;
2:8     God's church ordered to love such a one;
2:9    God's church to be obedient in all things;
2:10      To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also:  for if I forgave any things, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ:    God's church to forgive; Christ person to forgive as He forgave;
2:11     Lest Satan should get an advantage of us:  for we are not ignorant of his devices.     God's enemy is churches enemy;  God's enemy to get an advantage of them;  God's enemies devices church is not to be ignorant of;
2:12      Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord.    Christ's Gospel preached;  Christ's message;  God opens a door for him;
2:14     Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.     God thanked;  Christ gives cause to triumph; God's knowledge made known by church;
2:15     For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:    God's sweet savour of those in Christ;  Christ church sweet savour to saved and lost;  God's saved;
2:16     God's savour of life and death in Christ and through Christ;
2:17      For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God:  but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.     God's word corrupt;  And God said/spoke;  God's word sincere   God's sight;  Christ servants speak His word;
Chapter 3
3:3      Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.     Christ epistles of His church;  Christ church ministered to;  God is living;  God's Spirit writes these truths;
3:4       And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:     Christ trusted to bring to God;  God approached through Christ for His church;
3:5      but our sufficiency is of God    God is our all;  God is sufficient;
3:6      Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit:  for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.     God made them able ministers of new testament;  God made them such through spirit;  God's spirit gives life in Him and through Him;
3:8      How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?    God's glory of His churches spiritual ministry;
3:9       For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.     God's ministration of condemnation;  God's ministration of righteousness exceed in His glory;   God's glory;
3:10      For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.        God's glory that excelleth;
3:11        For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.     God's law was glorious;  God's law done away;  God's word that remains;  God's word glorious;
3:14       But their minds were blinded:  for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.     God's children minds were blinded;  God's old testament read;  Christ did away with vail of old covenant;
3:15      But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.    And God said/spoke;  God's law through Moses is read;
3:16     Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.     God turned to;
3:17      Now the Lord is that Spirit:  and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.     God the Holy Spirit;  God's Spirit gives liberty;
3:18     But we all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.     God's glory beheld; God's servants changed as HE is, glory to glory; God's Spirit;
Chapter 4
4:1      Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;    God's servants have ministry;   God's mercy received;
4:2      nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.     God's word handled rightly, not deceitfully;  God's truth manifested; God sees what men commend to mens' conscience;
4:3      But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:     God's gospel hid to the lost;
4:4     lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.    Christ gospel light shown;  And God said/spoke;  God's image in Christ;
4:5     For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.     Christ preached;  Christ Name - Christ Jesus the Lord;  Christ servants for His sake;  Christ sake;
4:6      For God Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.      the Lord commanded;  God commanded light to shine;  And God said/spoke;   God's light shine in hearts of men;  God willing to give light of knowledge of His glory;  God's glory given in knowledge of Who He is;  Christ Jesus face radiates God's glory;
4:7      But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.    God's treasure in earthen vessels;  God's power excellent;
4:10      Always bearing about in the body of the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.     Christ Jesus death borne in bodies of believers;  Christ life manifested through servants of His';
4:11      For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.     Christ sake;  Christ servants delivered to death; Christ life manifest in flesh of believers;
4:13      We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;     God's spirit of faith;  And God said/spoke;  God's servant believe, and speak;
4:14       Knowing that He which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.     God raised up Christ Jesus;   Christ raises up His servants; Christ present all the body together;
4:15      For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.     God's abundant grace;  God to be thanked;  God's glory to raise men up to Him;
4:16      ye the inward man is renewed day by day.     God renews the inward man day by day in the Spirit;
4:17      worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;     God's purposes and works in men are more exceeding and eternal;  God's glory is eternal;
4:18      While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:  for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.    God's things are not seen;  God's things are eternal;
Chapter 5
5:1      For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.     God builds us an eternal house;  God's heavens are eternal;
5:2      For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:    God's children groan and earnestly desire to be with Him;  God's heaven clothe His children with a house with Him;   God' clothes His children;
5:3     IF so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.     God clothes His children;
5:4      For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened:  not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.    God's children groan under burden of this life;  God clothes them with everlasting life;  God swallows up mortality with immortality;
5:5       Now He that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, Who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.    God wrought in us for this thing;  God does all;  God gives us Spirit;  Holy Ghost given unto us that we might be earnest in Him and toward Him;
5:6       Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:     God's children knows things of eternity;  God's children in the body are absent from Him in presence;
5:7      For we walk by faith, not by sight:    God's children walk by faith in Him;
5:8      WE are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.     God's children confident to be absent from earthly body;  God to be present with;
5:9      Wherefore we labour, that whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him.    God's children labor to be accepted of Him;  God accepts;
5:10      For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in the body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.    Christ judgement seat;  God's children to receive things done in the body;  God's children works, good and bad;
5:11      Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.    God's terror, the fear of the Lord; God's children persuade men; God makes men manifest;
5:13      For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God:  or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.    God to receive for His glory everything done;
5:14     For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all then were all dead:     Christ love;  Christ love constrains;  Christ died for all;
5:15      And that He died for all that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again.     Christ died for all;  Christ to be lived unto by those redeemed;  Christ died and rose again;
5:16       Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh:  yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we he no more.     Christ in the flesh;  Christ known; Christ no longer known in the flesh;
5:17       Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.      Christ servants in Him;  Christ makes them new creatures;  Christ makes old things pass away;  Christ makes all things new;
5:18      And all things are of God, Who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation:     God created all things;  God made all things come from Him;  God reconciled us to Himself by Christ;  Christ reconciled us to God;   God gives ministry of reconciliation;
5:19      To whit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.     God in Christ;  God reconciling world unto Himself;  God not imputing trespasses;  God commits word of reconciliation;
5:20      Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.     Christ ambassadors;  God beseeched them through Paul;  Christ stead to be reconciled to God;  God prayed to for them to be reconciled;
5:21      For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.     Christ made to be sin by God for us;  God made Christ to be sin for us;  Christ knew no sin;  God's righteousness in His servants through Christ righteousness of obedience through death;
Chapter 6
6:1      We then, as workers together with Him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.     God workers together;  God's grace not to be received in vain;
6:2      (For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee:  behold, now is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation.)      And God said/spoke;  God heard;  God's day of salvation (2);  God succoured us;  God's accepting time;
6:3      Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:    God's ministry not to be blamed through offence;
6:4       But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,       God's ministers;  God's ministers approved in patience, afflictions, necessities, in distresses;
6:5      In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watching, in fastings;     God's ministers approved in stripes, imprisonment, tumults, labours, watching's, and fastings;
6:6       By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned.      God's ministers approved by pureness, knowledge, longsuffering, kindness, Holy Ghost, love unfeigned;   Holy Ghost approves ministers with anointing;
6:7       By word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,       God's minsters approved by word of truth, power of God, armour of righteousness on right and left;    God's power approves ministers works;   God's word of truth, And God said/spoke;
6:8       By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report:  as deceivers, and yet true;      God's ministers approved by honor & dishonor, evil and good report, true;
6:14     God's children not to unequally yoked with unbelievers and the unrighteous and those in darkness;  God's children of light, believers and righteous;
6:15       And what concord hath Christ with Belial?  or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?     Christ followers to not be with idolaters;  Christ's believers not to be with infidels;
6:16      And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?  for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hat said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.     God's temple not to be with idols;  God is living;  God's people are His living temple;  And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to dwell in them and walk with them;  God dwells;  God walks;   I will's of God to be their God;  God is God;  God's people;
6:17       Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.      God's children to come out from among them;  God's children to be separate;  And God said/spoke;  God's children to not touch uncleanness;  I will's of God to receive them;  God receives;
6:18      And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.     I will's of God to be their Father;  God is Father;  God's sons and daughters;  And God said/spoke;  God's Name - Lord Almighty;  God is Almighty;
Chapter 7
7:1      Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of  God.     God's promises of I will;  God's children to cleans themselves from filthiness of flesh and spirit;  the fear of the Lord;  God's fear to perfect holiness unto Him;
7:6      Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;    God comforts them that are cast down;
7:8      though I did repent     God's children repent unto Him and before Him;
7:9      that ye sorrowed to repentance:  for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.     God's children sorrowed to repentance;  God's children made sorry after a godly manner;  Godly sorrow;
7:10      For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of:  but the sorrow of the world worketh death.     God's children repent to salvation;  Godly sorrow works repentance;
7:11       For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort,      Godly sort;  God's children sorrowed after a godly sort;
7:12      but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.    God's sight;  God sees the care of His people;
7:14     but as we speak all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.    God's people to speak truth;  God's people to be found in truth;
7:15     whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all how with fear and trembling ye received him.    God's children found in obedience;  God's children receive with fear and trembling;
Chapter 8
8:1     Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;     God's churches;  God's grace bestowed;
8:4      Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.     God prayed to with much intreaty by His children;  God's ministers fellowship;  God's ministers to the saints;
8:5     And this they did not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.     God given their own selves unto Him;  I will's of God;  God's will that they give themselves to Paul to help, support and serve;
8:6      so he would also finish in you the same grace also.    God's children show God's grace to each other;
8:7      Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.    God's children to abound in faith, utterance, knowledge, diligence and love;  God's grace toward each other to abound also;
8:8      I spake not by commandment. . . to prove the sincerity of your love.    the Lord commanded not;  God's children sincerity of love for Him and their fellow man  to be proven;
8:9      For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich.     Christ grace;  Christ Name - Lord Jesus Christ; Christ rich;  Christ became poor for their sakes;  Christ poverty that they may become rich;
8:15      As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.     And God said/spoke;   God provides for His Own;
8:16       But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.     God thanked;  God put in Titus heart earnest desire to care for them;
8:17      For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you.     God's children exhorted to do and care for one another;
8:18      And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches;       God's churches;  God's gospel to be praised;
8:19      And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind;      God's churches chosen one to go and do;   God's grace upon them;  God gloried in;
8:21       Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.     God sees honest things and dishonest things of men;
8:23       Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you:  or our brethren be enquired of they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.      Christ glory upon the churches;  Christ glory upon those serving;   God's churches;  God's messengers to the churches;
8:24      Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.      God's churches;  God's children proof of love;
Chapter 9
9:1      For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:     God's saints minister to each other;
9:5       Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you     God's brethren exhorted;
9:6      But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.     God's servants and church sow and reap, bountifully or sparingly;
9:7      Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudingly, or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver.     God loves cheerful giver;
9:8      And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:     God is able;  God makes all grace abound towards His beloved;  God is giver of all sufficiency in all things;  God is able to make abound to every good work;
9:9     (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; He hath given to the poor:  HIs righteousness remaineth for ever.     And God said/spoke;   God disperses abroad;  God gives to the poor;  God's righteousness is for ever;
9:11       Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.    God enriches in all things;  God to be given thanksigiving;
9:12      For the adminsitration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;     God's saints wants supplied; God receives abundant thanksgiving;
9:13      Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;     God glorified;  Christ gospel professed through ministry;
9:14      And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.    God's children prayed for;  God's grace in them;
9:15     Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.     God thanked;  God's unspeakable gift;
Chapter 10
10:1     Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you but being absent am bold toward you:    Christ meek;  Christ gentle;  Christ in Paul;
10:4      (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)      God's weapons for His children are not carnal;  God mighty for pulling down strong hold;
10:5       Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;     God's power to cast down imaginations;   God's power to cast down every thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God;  God's knowledge  exalted against; Christ obeyed by taking captive every thought;
10:6    God to be obeyed in all things, cast away all disobedience;
10:7       Do ye look on things after the outward appearance?  If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's , even so are we Christ's.     Christ servants trust to be His; Christ servants;
10:8      For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:      God giveth them authority;  God gives them authority to edify;
10:13      But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according ot the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.     God distributes rule unto them by measure;
10:14       for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:     Christ gospel preached;
10:15      Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increase, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,      God's children's faith increased;
10:16      To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand.    God's gospel preached to other places;
10:17      But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.     God to be gloried in;
10:18      For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but, whom the Lord commendeth.    God commendeth men;
Chapter 11
11:1       Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly; and indeed bear with me.    God children to bear trials;  God sought as to have them bear with him;
11:2       For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy:  for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.     Christ bride, the church presented to Him;  Christ church to be chaste virgin; God's church espoused to Him;
11:3      But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtility, so your minds should be corrupted form the simplicity that is in Christ.     Christ servants should be beguiled or corrupted in their minds;  Christ way in simplicity;
11:4      For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.     Christ Jesus only Jesus to preach;  Christ's gospel only gospel to receive;  God's Spirit only spirit to receive;
11:5      For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.    Christ apostles, chiefest;
11:7      because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?     God's gospel preached;  God's gospel preached by His servants freely;
11:8     God's churches served;
11:9     God's church serves one another;
11:10     As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.    Christ truth in Paul;
11:11     Wherefore?   because I love you not?  God knoweth.    God knows all things;
11:13      For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.      God knows those that are false apostles;   Christ apostles are true to Him, false apostles;
11:14      And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.     God's true angels of light, God knows the false angels of light;
11:15    God's true ministers and false ministers;
11:17      That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.     God knows the words given and spoken after Him and about Him;
11:23      Are they ministers of Christ/ (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prison more frequent, in deaths oft.      Christ ministers;  Christ servants face trials, tribulations and persecutions;
11:28     Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.    God's servants care for God's churches;  God's church;
11:31       The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.     God is God the Father;  God the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ;  Christ Name - Lord Jesus Christ;  Christ's Father;  God is blessed;  God knows who lies and who does not lie;
Chapter 12
12:1      IT is not expedient for me doubtless to glory, I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.    God gives visions and revelations to His servants;
12:2       I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell:  God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.     Christ in man;  God knows all things;  God's heaven a man caught up to third heaven;
12:3      And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell:  God knoweth;)     God knows such things;
12:4       How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.       God's paradise;  God's servant caught up into paradise;  God's heavenly words, that are unspeakable for men to utter;
12:6     I will say the truth     God's truth to be spoken;
12:7      through the abundance of the revelations      God gives revelations;
12:8      For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.     God besought;  God asked for it to depart 3 times;
12:9      And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee:  for My strength is made perfect in weakness.  Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.     And God said/spoke;    Christ's grace sufficient;  Christ strength perfect in man's weakness; Christ power rest upon faithful servants;
12:10      Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake:  for when I am weak, then am I strong.      God's servants to take pleasure in infirmities, reproaches, necessities, persecutions, distresses;   Christ sake such things shall be;  God's makes strong those that are weak;
12:11    the chiefest apostles      Christ apostles;
12:12      Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.      Christ apostles;  Christ gives patience, signs, wonders and might deeds;
12:13      For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you?  forgive me this wrong.     God's churches;   God's servants seek forgiveness;
12:15      spend and be spent     God's servant to spend and be spent;
12:18      walked we not in the same spirit?  walked we not in the same steps?     God's servants walk in the same Spirit with Him and each other;
12:19     Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you?  we speak before God in Christ:  but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.     God spoken to in Christ;  God's church to be edified;
12:21       And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that i shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.      I will's of God to humble him;  God humbles His servants;  God servants to repent before Him of which they have committed;
Chapter 13
13:3       Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.      Christ speaking in Paul;  Christ proves who are His servants;
13:4      For though He was crucified through weakness, yet He liveth by the power of God.  For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you.      Christ crucified in weakness;  Christ lives by power of God; God's power gives life;  Christ servants weak in Him;  Christ servants shall live with Him by the power of God;  God's power to cause His servants to live to Him and with Him;
13:5      Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.  Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?     Christ servants to walk and live in faith;   Christ servants to prove they are His;  Christ Name - Jesus Christ;  Christ in His servants;
13:7       Now I pray to God that ye do not evil, not that we should appear approved, but that y should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.      God prayed to that they do no evil;
13:8     For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.     God's truth to do nothing against;  God's truth to do things for;
13:9     even your perfection.    God's church to be perfect;
13:10     Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.     God's word written to them;  God gives power for edification;  God's power not to destruction;
13:11     Finally, brethren, farewell.  Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.     God's church to perfect;  God's church to have good comfort;  God's church to be of one mind;  God's church to live in peace;  God of love;  God of peace;  God to be with them;
13:12     Greet one another with an holy kiss.    God's children give one another holy kiss;
13:13      All the saints salute you.     God's saints salute one another;
13:14       The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost be with you all. Amen.    Christ Name - Lord Jesus Christ;  Christ grace;  God's love;  Holy Ghost communion;  God's children to receive grace, love and communion with the God head;
