PRAYER EMAIL - MARCH 19

 Greetings,

"Hast thou found me, O my enemy?"   II Kings 21:20

The enemy of our Lord, is our enemy.  Satan and all that follow him are our enemies.  Ahab, called the prophet Elijah, the true servant of the Lord, his enemy.  Does that not speak volumes about who his friends were; if he consider the prophet of the Lord, his enemy.  This is not the first time our Lord's enemy has come.  Walk through Scripture and see the visitations of Satan upon the saints and people of God.  Satan was there in the garden, and destroyed Adam and Eve.  Satan came forth and met Christ the 40 days of fasting to cause Him to fall into sin.  Satan was there with all the heavenly hosts gathered together before the Lord to give an account of themselves in the account of Job.  He was there in the heavenly hosts to answer God, 'Where hast thou been?'  'Going to and fro throughout all the earth.'  He was there as God set forth Ahab's destruction, 'who shall go and cause Ahab to fall', And Satan the father of lies answered, 'I will go and cause him to fall.  I will be a lie in the mouth of his prophets.'  Satan has shown his consistency to go after God's saints in their worst times.

Satan does not usually come when a saint or church is at its 'in season'.  Satan comes mostly in the 'out of seasons'.  And for the church of North America it is an out of season.  And our enemy has come.  He's come for our nation; for our future; for the church; for our families, and for many of our beloved brothers and sisters in the faith.  But I fear that most of the church is not aware that the enemy has already come and entered.  They do not know to say, 'Hast thou found me O my enemy?'  But those who know our Lord, and know His Word, sees and hear the evidence that our enemy has come and done his best work.  Isn't it a crime that in our generation, more evil has increased and less holiness has prevailed!  This is the work of the enemy.

HE has sown his ways among the children of God.   A church, far too many of them,  that looks more like the world than it does heaven going saints.  Should the church not bear the attributes of their Lord?  Why is holiness never mentioned or sought for any more among God's people?  Our enemy has come and found us, and sown his tares among the wheat.  Tares of compromise, tares of acceptance, tares of ease, tares of lethargy and tares of lukewarmness.  These things ought not to be named among us. Hast thou found me, O my enemy.

Look upon the homes, God's established marriage and upbringing and place of safety, love and supposed to be picturesque of home in heaven with our Father, and His Son, our Savior and we as the bride of Christ.  See the enemy has come and brought destruction to the institution of marriage between one man and one woman, till death due us part.  See the enemy's hand in the division of families.  See the lostness of not just a family, but 3 generations, and maybe one Christian if any - grandparents, parents and now children/grandchildren.   He has found us.

And in this wicked society and continued increase of sin and acceptance of abominations, Satan laughs at the church to find it prayerless and powerless of His Holy Ghost.  For our enemy knows better than we do, that if he keeps us from prayer and the Word, He advances.  And advanced he has.  Let us cast off the modern thinking of church and Christianity and return to the power of prayer and the Word.  Let us remember and know Who our God is and what He is able to do.  Let us remember that our Lord is victorious over the enemy and he has no right or authority in these places.  Let us start living and being victors in Christ, instead of allowing our enemy to attack, kill, steal and maim our Lord's kingdom.  

Hast thou found me, O my enemy?  Yes, he has.    Know that the Lord's enemy is our enemy.        


PRAYER TARGETS:
EPIDEMICS

1.  Drugs/Alcohol - continued death, destruction and demise of our nation, future, homes, and loved ones;  Complete epidemic stats - soon to be every family to bury a loved from this evil, or multiple ones; 

2.  Children -   FBI stings on child sex crimes; pastor arrested again for child pornography; 

3.  LGBT -  man won NCAA swim meet, took it away from all true women competing; Lunacy to allow such things.  Florida law countering with 'Don't say Gary bill' ;  More and more clergy and churches continue to compromise with this abomination in their families, and churches;   

4.   Natural Disasters - earthquake off Japan, near Fukishima, 7.3;  drought conditions are approaching record, historic levels for US;  

5.  Plagues - new variant for covid;  cases down in US, deaths still high; Asia and Europe highest cases;  

6.  Great Evil - suicides have gone over 5000 this past week for this year;  police officers shot and killed are now up to 15 for the year, 6 for this month;  murder-suicides are still up at 2 per day average;  School shootings and public mass murder has been quiet; I fear this is coming; but pray to counter and prevail against this evil;  This only advances when God's people are silent;

7.  Economy - $30 trillion debt; Russia made its interest payment, but still near collapse, seems like the whole thing will go down worldwide if such a nation as big as Russia's economy would collapse;  push for digital money coming as nations seeking to go to E-wallet;

--A Word - Jeremiah 15:7;  all verses so far in this chapter started and finished;  chapter 13 - 14 all done; have gone back to chapter 12, 1/2 are now finished;
--Monday Bible study - John 16;
--Thursday Hour of Prayer - worship - fear of the Lord study - confession - Ezekiel 23, verses by verses, phrase by phrase to identify God's condemnation for their specific sins against Him, a parallel to our day for our nation and the church;  
--Keyser Church & Fox's Hollow Church services back to regular times;  SS at Fox's Hollow started Revelation verses by verses;
--Pastors PRayer 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 6 PM; 1st Friday of each month corporate prayer - all night prayer meeting;

Prayer Email - 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC - III

Greetings, "men ought always to pray, and not to faint."  Luke 18:1  In the last month, we have had a Solemn Assembly for our local churches; followed by '100 Hours of Prayer' for the local churches & many of you, my prayer partners on this prayer email joined us.  And now we come to this last protracted time of prayer, 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC.  God sets His people to pray for His purposes and His will to be done.  And yet, prayer is hard to find among the churches today.  Many know they should pray, but refuse to make time.  Many desire to pray better, but have no teaching on how to pray.  Neither are they around seasoned prayer warriors that can impart what they have learned.  And much of the evil and wickedness of today in our nation, cities and homes, is because, we, as God's people have ceased praying.
