THE ACTIVITY OF GOD IN THE BIBLE - ROMANS - CHAPTERS 1 - 8 - PART I

 The Activity of God

Going through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, phrase by phrase and word by word to give attention to the following:
--the Names of God;
--the word & deeds of God;
--the sayings of God;
--the attributes of God;

Too often the churches weakness and the Christians weakness is found in this one sin, 'we do not know God'.  We have not studied the Bible, nor Him to learn more of Him.  Seeking that this might be a help for myself and others in this pursuit that each of us 'may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.

ROMANS
Chapter 1
1:1       Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God.      Christ Name - Jesus Christ;  Christ servant Paul;  God called Paul to be an apostle;  God's gospel;  God separates Paul for work of kingdom;
1:2       (Which He had promised afore by His porphets in the Holy scriptures,)       God promised; And God said/spoke;   God's prophets; God's Holy Scripture;
1:3       Concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of hte seed of David according ot hte flesh;     God's Son, Jesus Christ;  Christ Name - Jesus Christ our Lord;  Christ is Lord; God made Christ of seed of David in flesh;  Christ of David's seed in flesh as foretold;
1:4       And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:      Christ Name - Son of God;  God declared Christ to be Son of God; Christ with power, Omnipotent; Christ has spirit of holiness; Christ resurrected from dead;
1:5       By Whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience ot the faith among all nations, for His Name:      God gives grace and apostleship;  God to have faith with obedience by His servants; Christ Name to all nations;
1:6      Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:     Christ calls His Own;  Christ followers called Christians;
1:7       To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints:  Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.       God's beloved in Rome;  God's called saints, His church; God is Father;  God is Son, Lord Jesus Christ;  Christ Name - Lord Jesus Christ;  God gives grace and peace;
1:8      First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all that your faith is psoken of throughout the whole world.      God thanks through Christ;  God's children have faith in Christ;  Christ followers faith bears witness throughout whole world;
1:9     For God is my witness Whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;      God bears witness of Paul's testimony and life;  God served for gospel of Chrsit;  Christ is God's Son;  God's gospel of Christ;  God prayed to always for them by Paul;
1:10       Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.      God hears and receives request of prayer; I will's of God for Paul to come to them;  God's will prayed for regarding trip;
1:11      that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established.     God gives spiritual gift;  God's children to be established;
1:12      by the mutual faith both of you and me.     God gives us faith in Himself by His servants;
1:15      So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.     God's gospel to be preached by Paul at Rome;
1:16     For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.      Christ gospel to not be ashamed of; God's power through the gospel to salvation;  God's gospel and Christ to be believed on;
1:17      For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just shall live by faith.      God's righteousness revealed through gospel and his power;  God's righteousness to have faith unto faith; And God said/spoke;  God instructs just to live by faith;
1:18      For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness, and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;     God's wrath revealed from heaven;  God rewards ungodliness, unrighteousness of men who hold not the truth;  God's truth to be held;
1:19      Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them, for God hath shewed it unto them.     God knows all, Omniscient; God showed it unto them;
1:20     For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:   God's invisible things;  God's creation of the world seen; God's creation makes things to be understood which He made;  God made; God's eternal power;  God is head, Godhead; God allows for no excuses;
1:21       Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.     God to be known; God not gloried as God;   God not given thanks; God turned away from to vain imaginations and foolishness in heart;
1:23       And they changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.     God incorruptible;  God's glory changed by evil men;
1:24      Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:      God gives them up to uncleanness;
1:25       Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.    God's truth changed into lie; God not served;  God is Creator; God is blessed for ever;
1:26       For this cause God gave them up into vile affections:  for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.      God gives them up into vile affections;
1:28      And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;     God not retain in their knowledge; God gives them over to reprobate minds;
1:30      haters of God     God hated;'
1:32      Who knowing the judgement of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.     God's judgement to be known;
Chapter 2
2:2      But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.      God's judgment according to truth against wicked;
2:3     that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?      God's judgement;
2:4       Or despiesest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering:   not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?      God's goodness;  God's forbearance;  God's longsuffering;  God's goodness lead men to repent;
2:5      revelation of the righteous judgment of God.     God judges;  God's judgement is righteous;
2:6       God will render to every man according to his deeds:     I will's of God to render according to every man's deeds;
2:7      seek of glory and honour, and immortality, eternal life.     God is immortal;  God is eternal;  God gives eternal life;
2:8      do not obey the truth     God's truth not obeyed;
2:10   God gives glory, honour and peace to those that work and do good;
2:11      For there is no respect of persons with God.      God has no respect of persons;
2:13       (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.     God determines those that are just in His sight and judgement;  God knows those that hear and do the law rightly;
2:16     In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.     God judges secrets of men;  God judges men by Jesus Christ;   Christ is Jesus Christ;  Christ gospel is that which men are judged by;
2:17       and makest thy boast of God.    God boasted on by those that have the law;
2:18        And knowest His will and approvest the things that are more excellent, begin instructed out of the law;    I will's of God, HIs will;  God's will is more excellent;
2:23       Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?     God to not be dishonoured;  God dishonoured;
2:24       For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.     God's Name blasphemed by Gentiles from their false witness; And God said/spoke;
2:29      But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.    God's praise; God's praise through those that keep in the heart and in spirit;
Chapter 3
3:2       Much every way; chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.     God's oracles;  God's oracles committed unto Jews and the circumcision;
3:3      For what if some did not believe?   shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?     God and His ways not believed in;  God's faith not believed in;
3:4      God forbid; yea, let God be true, but every man a liar, as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.      God to forbid such unbelief;  God is true; And God said/spoke;   God to justify;  God to help men overcome;  God to judge;
3:5       But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say?  Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance?( I speak as a man)      God's righteounsess;  God is not unrighteous when He takes vengeance;   God's vengeance;
3:6       God forbid:  for then how shall God judge the world?     God forbids;  God shall judge the world;
3:7        For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto His glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?      God's truth abounds;  God is truth; God's glory;
3:10       As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:      And God said/spoke;  God declares all are unrighteous, all are sinners;
3:11        There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.     God is not sought after;  God is not understood;
3:14 - 17   God sees and knows their deeds, evil and sins;
3:18      There is no fear of God before their eyes.     the fear of the Lord;   God is not feared;
3:19       Now we know that what soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law:  that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.     God's law;  And God said/spoke;   God sees and knows the world is guilty before Him;
3:20       Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight:  for by the law is the knowledge of sin.       God's sight;  God justifies none by the deeds of the law; God's law;   God's law reveals that which is against Him, sin;  God's law gives knowledge of sin;
3:21       But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;      God's righteousness manifested;  God's righteousness witnessed by law & prophets;  God's law;  God's prophets;
3:22      Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:  for there is no difference:     God's righteousness;  God's righteousness by faith of Jesus Christ;  Christ - Jesus Christ faith upon that believe in Him;
3:23      For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.     God's glory;  God's glory come short of;
3:24       Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.     God's grace justifies; Christ Jesus gives redemption;
3:25       Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;      God set froth Christ;  Christ set forth to be propitiation through faith in His blood;  Christ blood to have faith in for remission of sins;  Christ's righteousness grants remission of sins;   God's forbearance;
3:26       To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness:  that He might be just, and the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus.      God's righteousness;   God is just; God justifies;  God's justifies those that believe in Jesus;  Christ Jesus to be believed in for justification;
3:27      by the law of faith.     Christ Jesus is the law of faith;  Christ is to have faith in;
3:28       Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without hte deeds of the law.     Christ justifies by faith in Him;
3:29     Is He the God of the Jews only?  is He not also of the Gentiles?  Yes, of the Gentiles also:     God is God of the Jews;  God is God of the Gentiles;
3:30       Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.      God is one;  God justifies circumcision by faith;  God justifies uncircumcision through faith;
3:31       Do we then make void the law through faith?  God forbid:  yea, we establish the law.     God's law not void;  God's law fulfilled through faith;   God forbid error;  God's law established;
Chapter 4
4:2       For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.    God will not justify men's works for His glory;
4:3      For what saith the scripture?  Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.     And God said/spoke;    God believed on by Abraham;  God gives righteousness to him for belief in Him;
4:5       But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.     Christ believed on justifies ungodly;   God sees and knows righteousness of them that believe on Him in faith;
4:6       unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,      God imputes righteousness upon those without works;
4:7      Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.     God forgives iniquities;  God covers sins;
4:8      Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.      God blesses men; I will's of God to not impute sin;
4:9   God gives blessing; God is the One whom faith is reckoned by Abraham for righteousness;
4:11      And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised; that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:      God declares righteousness by faith; God gives Abraham to be father of all them that believe;  God to be believed in;  God imputes righteousness unto them;
4:13       For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.      God gives promise to Abraham that through him he would be heir of the world; God gives fulfillment of this through righteousness of faith;
4:14    God can fulfill promise, or make it void;
4:16       Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all.     God gives grace through faith in Him; God gives promise to all the seed;  God promised Abraham to be a father to all nations;
4:17        (as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and called those things which be not as though they were.      And God said/spoke;  God made Abraham father to nations;  God believed on;  God quickens;  God calls things that aren't as if they were;
4:18      Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.     God believed on in hope; God may make him father of nations;  And God said/spoke;  God promised him;
4:19       And being not weak in faith     God have faith in;
4:20      He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;    God's promise not staggered at;  God have faith in;  God to be given glory;
4:21      And being fully persuaded, that what he had promised, He was able also to perform.     God promised;  And God said/spoke;  God able to perform;
4:22      imputed to him for righteousness.     God to be right with;
4:23      Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it ws imputed to him;     And God said/spoke;  God imputes righteousness;
4:24      But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;      God imputes upon those that believe and are righteous;   God to be believed on;  God raised Jesus from the dead;  Christ Name - Jesus our Lord;  Christ raised from dead;
4:25      Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.    God delivers Christ for our offences;  Christ takes our offences;  Christ raised again for our justification;  God justifies through Christ;
Chapter 5
5:1      Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:     God justifies man that have faith in Him;  God have faith in; God gives peace through Christ;  Christ Name - Lord Jesus Christ;
5:2      By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.         God's grace give3n access through Christ;  God's glory rejoiced in;
5:3       And not only so but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience;     God allows us to glory in tribulations;
5:5      And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.     God to have hope in, faith; God's love shed abroad into our heart by Holy Ghost;   Holy Ghost puts love of God into our hearts;  God gives it unto us;
5:6       For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.     Christ died for ungodly;
5:8       But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Chrsit died for us.    God commends His love toward us;  God's love; Christ died for us;
5:9      Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.    Christ's blood justifies;  God's wrath saved from;
5:10      For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.      God reconciles by death of His Son;  Christ is Son of God; Christ death reconciles; Christ's life saves;
5:11      And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom we have now received the atonement.     God produces joy in believer through the Lord Jesus Christ;  Christ is the Lord Jesus that gives joy;  Christ helps to receive atonement through His death;
5:15       But not as the offence, so also is the free gift.  For if through the offence of one many be dead much more the grace of God, and the gift  by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.      God gives free gift; God's grace;  God's gift of grace through Jesus Christ;  Christ Jesus gives gift of grace abounding unto many;
5:16      but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.     God's free gift of Christ is unto justification;
5:17       For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.      God's gift of abundance of grace received;  God's gift of righteousness;  Christ Jesus gives life to be reigned over in Him;
5:18      even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.      Christ Jesus gives the free gift of righteousness to come upon men for justification of life;   God gives life through Christ;
5:19      so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.     Christ the one by obedience made men righteous;
5:20      But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:     God's grace abounds more than sin;
5:21      That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign  through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.      God's grace;  God's righteousness through Jesus Christ gives eternal life;  Christ is Jesus Christ our Lord;
Chapter 6
6:1      What shall we say then?  Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?     God's grace to abound over sin;
6:2      God forbid.  How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?     God can forbid;
6:3      Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ, were baptized into His death?     Christ Name - Jesus Christ;  Christ believers baptized into Him;   Christ death; Christ death baptized into;
6:4      Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death:  that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.     Christ believers buried by baptism into His death;  Christ raised up from dead;  God the Father;  God's glory;  God gives newness of life to believer in Christ;
6:5       For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection:     Christ death; Christ resurrection;
6:6       Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.      Christ crucified;  Christ believers crucified old man;
6:7       Christ gives those dead to self and sin to be freed from sin;
6:8       Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him:     Christ believers dead with Him; Christ believers alive with Him;
6:9        Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.      Christ raised from dead;  Christ dies no more;
6:10       For in that he died, he died unto sin once:  but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.    God's believers live unto Him;
6:11      Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.     Christ believers dead unto sin; God through Jesus Christ our Lord makes us alive;  Christ believers alive unto Him;  Christ Name - Jesus Christ our Lord;
6:13       Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:  but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.    God's believers to yield unto Him;  God's believers are alive from the dead;  God's believers to make their members as instruments of God's righteousness;  God's righteousness;
6:14   God's grace puts His children under it;
6:15      What then?  shall we sin, because ye are not under the law, but under grace?  God forbid.     God's grace does not permit sin;  God forbids;
6:16      or of obedience unto righteousness?    God's children obey unto righteousness;
6:17      But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.      God to be thanked;  God's doctrine delivers heart to obey;
6:18      Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.    God's children made free from sin;  God's children servants of righteousness;
6:19      even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.    God's children to yield to righteousness unto holiness;  God's children to be holy;
6:22       But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.      God's children made free from sin;  God's servants bear fruit unto holiness;  God's servants have everlasting life;
6:23       For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.     God's gift is eternal life;  Christ Name - Jesus Christ our Lord;  Christ is eternal life through God;
Chapter 7
7:4       Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to Him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.     Christ body;  Christ death makes us to become dead to law;  Christ married to His bride; Christ raised from the dead;  God should receive fruit from His children;
7:6       But now, we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.     God delivers us from law;  God gives newness of spirit in Him;
7:7       What shall we say then?  Is the law sin?  God forbid.  Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law:  for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.     God forbids;
7:12       Wherefore the law is holy and the commandment holy and just, and good.     God's commandments;  God's law;  God is Holy;
7:13      Was then that which is good made death unto me?  God forbid.  But sin that it might appear sin; working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.     God forbids;
7:14      For we know that the law is spiritual:  but I am carnal, sold under sin.     God's law;  God si Spirit;
7:22       For I delight in the law of God after the inward man;     God's law delighted in;  God's law in the inward man;
7:25       I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.  So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.      God thanked through Jesus Christ our Lord;  Christ Name - Jesus Christ our Lord;   God's law served;
Chapter 8
8:1     There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.      Christ Jesus has no condemnation to them which are in Him;  God's Spirit walked after;
8:2       For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.      God's Spirit has law of life in Christ;  Christ Jesus life is law of the Spirit of God; Christ made men free from law of sin and death;
8:3      For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:      God sent His Own Son, Christ Jesus;  Christ is the Son of God; Christ sent in likeness of flesh; Christ condemned sin in the flesh;
8:4       That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.     God's righteous law fulfilled in His children;  God's Spirit walked after;
8:5       but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.      God's Spirit has His believers walk after Him in the things of the Spirit;  Holy Ghost things that believers are in;
8:6       but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.      God's believers are spiritually minded;  God's Spirit gives life and peace;
8:7        Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:  for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.      God's enemy is the carnal mind; God's law not subject to by carnal;
8:8        So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.     God not pleased with those in the flesh;
8:9        But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.  Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.     God's believers in the Spirit;  God's Spirit dwells in them;  Christ Spirit have or have not in them;  Christ Spirit not in those of the flesh;
8:10       And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.      Christ in believers;  Christ crucifies body of sin;  God's Spirit is life in righteousness;
8:11       But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.     God's Spirit raised up Christ;  Christ raised up from the dead by God's Spirit;  Holy Ghost dwells in believers; God raised up Christ from the dead;  Christ raised up; God quickens mortal bodies by His Spirit;  God's Spirit dwells in believers and quickens them;
8:13       For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:  but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.     Holy Spirit mortifies deeds of body;  Holy Ghost gives life;
8:14      For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.     God's Spirit leads His children;  God's sons are those that are led by Holy Spirit;
8:15      For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.      God's children received adoption by Holy Ghost;  God's Spirit of adoption for His children;  God's children call Him, Abba, Father;  God's Name - Abba, Father;
8:16       The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.     God's Spirit bears witness with God's children;  God's children are known by God;
8:17      And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.      God's children are heirs;  God's heirs;  Christ join-heirs; Christ to be suffered with, as His children; God glorify all together;
8:18   God's glory to be revealed;
8:19       For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.     God's sons;  God manifest expectation to be fulfilled to His creatures, children;
8:20       not willingly, but by reason of Him Who hath subjected the same in hope,      God's reason;  God willingly did this;  God subjected the same in hope;
8:21      Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.     God's creatures shall be delivered from bondage of corruption;  God shall deliver them into glorious liberty of children of God;  God's children; God's children free;
8:23       And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.     God's Spirit's firstfruits;  God's adoption;  God's children waiting;  God redeems body;
8:24       For we are saved by hope:  but hope that is seen is not hope:  for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?     God saves by hope;  God is not seen, but hoped in;
8:25      But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.     God's children hope in that not seen;  God's children wait with patience in hope of Him;
8:26       Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:  for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.     God's Spirit helps our infirmities;  God's Spirit makes intercession for us;  God's Spirit groans in prayer for us;
8:27       And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.    God searches hearts and knows;  God is Omniscient; God's Spirit is known by Him; God makes intercession for saints;  God's will prayed for;  I will's of God to know and pray His will;
8:28       And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.    God loved by His children;  God's called;  God's purpose fulfilled for good to them;
8:29       For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.     God foreknows;  God predestinates those Whom He knows to be conformed to Christ;  Christ is Son of God;  Christ image on His children;  God makes them firstborn;
8:30       Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called:  and whom He called, them He also justified:  and whom He justified, them He also glorified.      God predestinates;  God calls;  God justifies;  God glorifies;
8:31      What shall we then say to these things?  If God be for us, who can be against us?     God for His children;  God knows those that are against His children;
8:32       He that spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?      God spared not His Own Son;  Christ Son of God;  Christ not spared;  Christ delivered up for all;  God delivered Christ, His Son up; God to freely give all things to His children;
8:33       Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect?  It is God that justifieth.    God's elect;  God protect and deliver His elect;  God justifies;
8:34       Who is he that condemneth?  It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.    Christ died;  Christ rose again;  Christ at the right hand of god;  Christ makes intercession for us;  God's right hand;
8:35      Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?  shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?       Christ love;  Christ love cannot be separated from by these things listed;
8:36      As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.      And God said/spoke;  Christ sake;  Christ children killed for His sake;
8:37       Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.     God's children are conquerors in Him and through Him;   Christ loved us;
8:39       shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.     God's love;  Christ Name - Christ Jesus our Lord;  God and Christ love we cannot be separated from;
