 Greetings,

100 Hours of Prayer to close out this year and begin the new year.
Starting:  December 28, 2021 at 8:00 AM (EST)

Finishing:  January 1, 2022 at Noon (EST)

Time slots:  only do what you can do - 15 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour;

"And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.  And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea.  And he went up and looked, and said, There is nothing.  And he said, Go again sever times.  And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand.  And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not."  I Kings 18:41 - 46

Samuel Chadwick - "A prayer life is a life that prays."
Robert Murray McCheyne - "A glance at Christ will save, but it is the gazing at Christ that sanctifies."
David Brainerd - "Blessed be God, that I may pray!"

Let us finish this year, as we began it - in prayer.  The 3 saints, that I quoted above, are on the first page of my prayer notebook.  It is a reminder to me, of the privilege, the importance, the necessity and the great opportunity that we have to pray.  So we set this 100 Hours of prayer to close out the year and begin the year with Him.  And it may be the Lord will give grace and mercy for our hour of need.  The passage of Scripture, in I Kings, is from such a time of need as well.  Over 3 years without rain; great was the sins of idols and evil leadership of Ahab & Jezebel.  And God states of what His people and His man were doing,  Elijah prayed.  He prayed, and the Lord heard and answered by fire upon the altar and all the people said, 'The Lord, He is God".   But in this passage that I wrote out, the confrontation of the false priests and gods was dealt with, but the need of rain and water had not been dealt with yet.

Notice the faith of Elijah, God is going to send abundance of rain, in verse 1.  And then he sets himself to obtain it, through prayer.  Seven times did he send his servant until the cloud the size of man's hand was seen; and up he arose, knowing that God had heard and was ready to answer the need for the land and people.   God is merciful and more ready to give than we are to ask.  Yet, let us set ourselves before Him in prayer and seek His face for such an outpouring of fire upon our land.  Not to consume us, but the fire of the Holy Ghost to fall upon us.   It is the greatest need of the church today.  For holiness, righteousness and faithfulness is greatly hindered in many saints.  And an outpouring of His Spirit will revive the weak and carnal Christians.  A failure to obtain this, should be a great fear; that God will come and remove our candlestick, as He said to the church of Ephesus in Revelation 2.

We have gathered together these last several years, to seek and continue to go deeper and lengthier in our times before the Lord.  And as the years have clicked away, the severity of His hand has gotten worse; evil has increased and sin is largely accepted, even within the church.  And our cry has deepened as we know the grains of sand in the hour glass for our future, nation, and children is running out.  All of humanities time is running out, it is the end of the age.  The evil rising up creates our desperation;  the judgements hastens us to His throne in urgency; and the need for His Presence in fullness is our fervency.  Desperate - urgent - fervent; should be the 3 descriptions of our prayer times alone with Him and in the midst of our corporate settings.

Brethren, I ask of you again to join us for this most prayer time.  Continue to get alone with God and see what He would have you and me do for this pressing time of history.  Let me know what days you will pray - December 28 - Jan 1;  let me know what time slot(s) and whether it will be 15 minutes - 30 minutes or 60 minutes.  Simply sign up for what only you can do.   And although I would love to see the whole 100 hours filled and several praying in each hour time slots.  We simply want to fill the most honest times slots of praying that we can.   We have just under a month to sign up and secure this prayer time.   I await to hear from you.

If you have any questions or concerns let me know.

The hour is late; the need is great; let us pray, so as to prevail.

Until,
Dan Biser
