THE ACTIVITY OF GOD IN THE BIBLE - ACTS - CHAPTER 1 - 14, PART I

 The Activity of God

Going through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, phrase by phrase and word by word to give attention to the following:
--the Names of God;
--the word & deeds of God;
--the sayings of God;
--the attributes of God;

Too often the churches weakness and the Christians weakness is found in this one sin, 'we do not know God'.  We have not studied the Bible, nor Him to learn more of Him.  Seeking that this might be a help for myself and others in this pursuit that each of us 'may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.

ACTS
Chapter 1
1:1     The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach.     Christ works that He did; Christ words that He taught;  Christ does;  Christ teaches;  And God said/spoke;
1:2     Until the day in which He was taken up, after that He through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom He had chosen:    Christ taken up on that day; Christ through the Holy Ghost given commandment;  the Lord commanded;  Holy Ghost gave commandment to Christ; Christ had chosen apostles;
1:3      to whom also He shewed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:     Christ showed Himself alive;  Christ alive; Christ passion; Christ seen for 40 days;  Christ speaking and sharing the things pertaining to the kingdom of God;  And God said/spoke;   God's kingdom;
1:4      And being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith He, ye have heard of Me.    the Lord commanded;  Christ commands them to not depart from Jerusalem;  Christ bids them wait for the promise of the Father;    God the Father promises the Holy Ghost; And God said/spoke;  Christ spoke these things and they heard Him;
1:5      For John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not m any days hence.      God the Holy Ghost shall baptize them;  Christ tells them the Holy Ghost will come upon them in not many days hence, Omniscient, Omnipresent;
1:6       When they therefore were come together, they asked of Him, saying, Lord, wilt Thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?      Christ asked question;  Christ asked if kingdom will be restored to Israel;   I will's of God to restored the kingdom of Israel;
1:7      And HE said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His Own power.      And God said/spoke;   Christ answers them;  Christ declares that it is not for them to know;  God the Father hath put these things in His Own power;  God the Father's Own power;
1:8       But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:  and ye shall be wintesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.      Christ declares to them they shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost;   God the HOly Ghost is come upon them to be Christ witnesses to near and far;
1:9      And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight.         And God said/spoke;   Christ beheld;  Christ taken up;  Christ received in a cloud out of their sight;
1:10      And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as HE went up, behold tow men stood by them in white apparel;       Christ looked stedfastly after toward heaven by disciples;  Christ went up;  God sends two angels to them;
1:11       Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?  this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven.      God's angels asks them question;  Christ taken up into heaven; Christ shall come in like manner as He was seen going; Christ seen going into heaven;
1:14      Christ's disciples obey Him and continue in once accord in prayer and supplication, waiting for the Holy  Ghost to come;
1:16     Men and brethren, this scripture must need have been fulfilled, which the HOly Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.      And God said/spoke;  God's word fulfilled;  God the Holy Ghost spake through David of prophecy;  Christ taken;
1:17     Christ ministry, and Judas was numbered with them;
1:18 - 19   Christ betrayer, Judas death confirmed;
1:20       For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein:  and his bishoprick let another take.      And God said/spoke;   God's word in Psalms foretells Judas end;
1:21       Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,      Christ Name - Lord Jesus;  Christ went in and out among them; Christ disciples companied with Him;
1:22       Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that He was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of His resurrection.      Christ beginning of ministry with baptism of JOhn;  Christ taken up from them;  Christ resurrection; Christ disciples with Him through all this;
1:24     And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two Thou hast chosen.      Christ prayed to;  God knows the hearts of men; Omniscient; God asked to show which of these two chosen to replace Judas;
1:25     God's minsitry for this man to take Judas place, who betrayed Christ;
1:26     Matthias chosen to replace Judas of Christ 12 disciples;
Chapter 2
2:1     And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.     God's day of Pentecost in sending forth the Holy Ghost upon them that were with one accord, in one place;
2:2      And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as a of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house, where they were sitting.      God's Holy Ghost came upon them in as a rushing wind;  God's Holy Ghost filled all of them;
2:3       And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.     God's Holy Ghost sits upon them with image of cloven tongues of fire;
2:4       And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.       God's Holy Ghost fills them all;  Holy Ghost makes them speak with tongues;  God's Spirit gives them utterance;
2:6      because that every man heard them speak in his own language.      God's Holy Spirit makes them speak in all languages for men to heard the Word;/truth;
2:8        And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?    God's word heard in every language;
2:11      Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.      God's wonderful works;  God's works told by disciples;  God's works heard by all these of other nations;
2:16       But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel.       and God said/spoke;  God's word of prophecy fulfilled from prophet Joel;
2:17       And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh:  and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:      And God said/spoke;     God's word of prophecy fulfilled;  God's word comes to pass;   I will's of God to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh;   God's Spirit shall make sons an daughters to prophesy; God's Spirit to make young men see visions; God's Spirit to make old men dream dreams; God's Holy Spirit;
2:18      And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy:       God's servants;  God's handmaidens;  I will's of God to pour out His Spirit in those days;  God's servants shall prophesy;  God's Spirit;
2:19       And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:     I will's of God to show wonders in heaven and earth;  God's wonders of blood, fire and smoke;
2:20        The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:      God's wonders of the sun being darkened;  God's wonders of moon turning blood; God's day, the day of the Lord to come;
2:21      And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.     God's Name to be called upon to be saved;  Christ Name, Jesus saves;  God's word to come to pass;
2:22      Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:     And God said/spoke;   God's Name - Jesus of Nazareth; Jesus, a man; God approved of Jesus among them;  Christ did miracles, wonders and signs;  God did these miracles by Him in the midst of them;
2:23      Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:     Christ delivered into their counsel;  God's foreknowledge of all these things that happened; Omnipresent; Omnscient; Christ taken; Christ crucified by them; Christ slain by them;
2:24       Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death; because it was not possible that He should be holden of it.      God raise Christ up;  Christ loses the pains of death;  Christ not holden by death;
2:25       For David speaketh concerning Him, I foresaw the Lord always before My face, for He is on My right hand, that I should not be moved:      And God said/spoke; Christ seen by God;  God's face; God's right hand is Christ;  God not to be moved;
2:26     Therefore did My heart rejoice, and My tongue was glad; moreover also My flesh shall rest in hope.      Christ's heart rejoices;  Christ tongue was glad;  Christ flesh rest in hope;
2:27      Because Thou wilt not leave My soul in hell, neither wilt Thou suffer Thine HOly One to see corruption.     I will's of God to not leave Christ soul in hell (death); Christ soul not left; Christ not to suffer to see corruption of death;  Christ Name - Holy One;
2:28       Thou hast made known to Me the ways of life; Thou shalt make Me full of joy with Thy countenance.     God makes known to Chris the ways of life;  Christ knows ways of life through God; God to make Christ full of joy;  Christ full of joy;  God's countenance fills Christ with joy;
2:30      Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;      God swore to DAvid with oath;  And God said/spoke;   Christ raised up from David's line to sit on throne;   Christ sits on throne;
2:31      He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that His should was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.     Christ resurrection seen before and spoke of; Christ not left in hell, in death; Christ flesh did not see corruption of death;
2:32      This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.     God raised Jesus up;  Christ risen;
2:33      Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost He hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.      Christ at right hand of God;  God exalted Him; God the Father gave promise of Holy Ghost;  Christ received of Father promise;  God the Holy Ghost shed forth that they saw and heard;
2:34       For David is not ascended into the heavens:  but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit Thou on My right hand.      Christ asce4ned into the heavens;  And God said/spoke;   God the Father said to Christ to sit at His right hand;  God's right hand;  Christ sits at the right hand of the Father;
2:35       Until I make Thy foes Thy foot stool.      God to make enemies of Christ His' foot stool;  Christ foes; Christ foot stool;
2:36       Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.     God hath made Jesus Lord and Christ;  Christ crucified;  Christ Names, Jesus, Lord and Christ;
2:38      Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.     Christ Name to repent and be baptized in;  Christ Name remission of sins;  God the Holy Ghost to be received;
2:39       For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.    God shall call;  God offers promise to them and children and those afar off;
2:41    3000 received Christ that day and were baptized;  And God said/spoke;
2:43    God causes fear to come upon every soul;  God is glorified through their wonders and signs;
2:44     Christ believed on and they had all things common;  God's people together;
2:47       Praising God, and having favour with all the people.  And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.      God is praised;  God's people have favour; God added to the church daily such as should be saved;
Chapter 3
3:6      Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none:  but such as I have give I thee:  In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.      Christ Name - Jesus Christ of Nazareth;  Christ Name, Peter heals man;
3:8      into the temple, walking and leaping, and praising God.     God heals man;  God is praised;
3:9      And all the people saw him walking and praising God:     God praised;
3:12   Peter declares they did not heal man, but God did;
3:13       The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified His Son Jesus, Whom ye delivered up, and denied Him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.       God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob;  God of their fathers;  God glorified His Son, Jesus;  Christ glorified by Father;   Christ delivered up;  Christ denied;  Christ determined to be let go by Pilate;
3:14       But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;      God's Name - Holy One, the Just;  Christ denied;
3:15      And killed the Prince of life, Whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.      Christ killed;  Christ Name - Prince of life;  God raised Christ from the dead;
3:16       And His Name through faith in His Name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know; yea, the faith which is by Him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.     Christ Name through faith healed this man;  Christ Name in His Name made it happen; Christ Name placed faith in to heal him;
3:18       But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all His prophets, that Christ should suffer, He hath so fulfilled.       God showed these things through His prophets;  God's prophets foretold these things which should be;  Christ was and did suffer;  Christ fulfilled it all;
3:19      when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;     God's presence shall bring time of refreshing;
3:20      And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:     God send Christ;  Christ preached unto them;
3:21       Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.      Christ received in the heavens till the end of times; And God said/spoke;   God's holy prophets spake these things;
3:22       For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; Him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever He shall say unto you.      Christ foretold as prophet, like unto Moses;  God shall raise Him up unto them; Christ to be heard;  And God said/spoke;
3:23       And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that Prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.     Christ Name - Prophet;  And God said/spoke;  Christ not heard by men, shall be destroyed;
3:24    God's prophets have foretold all these things;  And God said/spoke;
3:25       Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham,  And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.     God made covenant with Abraham and fathers;  God's word comes to pass;  Christ a blessing to the nations;
3:26       Unto you first God, having raised up His Son Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of your from his iniquities.    God raised up Christ, His Son;  Christ Jesus in God's Son; Christ sent by Father to bless them;  Christ blesses;  Christ turns away men from their iniquities;

4:4      Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.     And God said/spoke;  God's word believed and 5000 believe;
4:8       Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel.      God the Holy Ghost fills Peter;
4:10       Be it known unto you all and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, Whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole.      Christ Name - Jesus Christ of Nazareth; Christ Name healed this man whole;  Christ crucified;  God raised Christ from the dead;
4:11       This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of hte corner.      Christ is the head stone of the corner;   Christ set at nought by those builders;
4:12       Neither is there salvation in any other:  for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.       Christ is the only salvation; Christ is the only Name under heaven for men to be saved; Christ Name given for men to be saved;
4:13       and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.     Christ was with them;  Christ taught them, as they were considered unlearned and ignorant men;  Holy Ghost gave them boldness
4:14    Christ healed man and they beheld him;
4:16    God's healing of this man a notable miracle recognized by chief priests and rulers;

4:20     Christ works and teachings heard and seen and spoken of; by disciples;
4:21      for all men glorified God for that which was done.     God glorified for miracle of man;
4:22     God did miracle on man who was above 40 years old;
4:24        And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, lord, Thou art God, which hast made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that in them is:      God spoken to in one accord by Christ followers;   God prayed to and worshipped;  God is God, Lord;  God made heave and earth, sea and all that is;  God is Creator and Sustainer;
4:25      Who by the mouth of Thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?       God's servant David;  And God said/spoke;  God asks question of people and heathen raging and imagining vain things;
4:26      The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against His Christ.      God and Christ stood up against by rulers of earth and gathered together against Them;
4:27       For of a truth against Thy holy child Jesus, Whom Thou hast anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,      God's Holy child Jesus;  God's Son Jesus;  God anointed Him;  Christ is God's;
4:28     For to do whatsoever Thy hand Thy counsel determined to be done.     God's hand; God's counsel to be done;  God's will done;
4:29     And now, Lord, behold their threatenings:  and grant unto Thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak Thy word.      God asked to know their threatenings against them; God's servants threatened;  God's servants to speak God's Word boldly;  And God said/spoke;
4:30      By stretching forth Thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the Name of Thy holy child Jesus.     God's hand heals;   Christ Name these signs and wonders are done;  God's Holy child, Jesus;  Christ is holy;
4:31       And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.     God the Holy Ghost fills them;  God's word spoken with boldness;  And God said/spoke;
4:33       And with great power gave the apostels witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus:  and great grace was upon them all.      God gives great power to apostles witness of resurrection of Jesus;  Christ resurrected;  And God said/spoke;  God's great grace upon them all;
Chapter 5
5:3      But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?      God the Holy Ghost lied to;
5:4       thou hast not lied utno men, but unto God.     God lied to;
5:5     God smites Ananias dead for his sin;
5:9       Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord?  behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.      God the Holy Ghost tempted and lied to;
5:10     God smites Sapphira dead for her sin;
5:11      And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.     the fear of the Lord;  God to be feared by His hcurch and all people;
5:12     And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; ( and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.     God gives power to apostles hands to do signs and wonders among people;  God's people were in one accord, as God is One;
5:14      And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)      God saves and redeems lost;  God added to the church believers of men and women;
5:15     God's power to heal through Peter's shadow;
5:16       and they were healed every one.      God heals sick and casts out demons;  God heals every one through His disciples;
5:19        But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,     God's angels releases them from prison;  God's angel brought them forth;  And God said/spoke;
5:20      Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.      God's angels gives them direction to go, stand and speak Words of life;   And God said/spoke;  God's word is life everlasting;
5:21    God's word obeyed by apostles;
5:25     God's disciples standing and speaking to the people as He commanded them;
5:28        Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this Name?  and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.    Christ Name they taught in;  Christ Name they sought to rebuke them from speaking of; Christ doctrine fills Jerusalem;  Christ blood upon their hands;
5:29       Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.     Christ apostles obey God;   God to be obeyed rather than men;
5:30    The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, Whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.    God raised up Christ from the dead;  Christ slew and hanged by them on tree;  God of fathers of Israel;
5:31      Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.       God exalted Christ;   God's right hand exalted Christ to Prince and Saviour;   Christ Name - Prince & Saviour;  Christ gives repentance and forgiveness of sins;

5:39       But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.     God brings things forth;  God works cannot be overthrown; God to not be fought against;
5:40      that they should not speak in the Name of Jesus, and let them go.     Christ Name to not be spoke of by disciples;
5:41       rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His Name.    Christ Name they suffered for;  Christ disciples rejoices to suffer for His Name sake;
5:42       And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.     Christ taught and preached daily in temple and houses;
Chapter 6
6:1      God multiples disciples;
6:2       It is not reason that we should leave the word of God and serve tables.     God's word to not be left;  And God said/spoke;
6:3        Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost, and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.      God's Holy Ghost to fill men with wisdom;
6:4       But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.     God 's servants to be continually in prayer and the Word;  God's word to be ministered; And God said/spoke;
6:5      And the saying pleased the whole multitude:  and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost. . . .       God's Holy Ghost fills Stephen; God's men full of Holy Ghost for His service;
6:7        And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.      God's word increases;  God's church multiplies; God's word obeyed by faith of priests; And God said/spoke;
6:8     Stephen full of faith in God and by God did many signs and wonders and miracles;  God gives power;
6:11      Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.     God's disciples Stephen lied about;  God not spoken blasphemous words against, like men said;
6:14      For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.       Christ Name - Jesus of Nazareth; Christ to destroy that place and change customs;

7:3       And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come unto the land which I shall shew thee.     And God said/spoke;  God gives Abraham directive to get out of his land;  God gives him directive to come to land that He will show him;  God will show him the land;
7:4     God obeyed by Abraham and did as the Lord had said;
7:5       And He gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on; yet He promised that He would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.     God did not give him the inheritance in his lifetime;  God promised to give it unto His children;  God gives Abraham's possession to his seed after him;
7:6        And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.      And God said/spoke;   God foretells Abraham that they shall go into strange land and be evil entreated 400 years;  Omnipresent; Omniscient;
7:7       And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God:  and after that shall they come forth, and serve Me in this place.      I will's of God to judge nation that holds His people in bondage;  And God said/spoke;  God to be served in this place/land;  God foretells what shall be for them as His people; Omniscient; Omnipresent;
7:8       And He gave him the covenant of circumcision:  and so Abraham begat Isaac      God gives covenant of circumcision to Abraham; God's covenant kept by them;

7:10       And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.      God delivers him out of all afflictions;  God gives him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh;
7:17       But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt.     God's promise drew nigh;  God swore to Abraham;  And God said/spoke;
7:25        For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by His hand would deliver them:  but they understood not.      God's hand to lead Moses hand to deliver them;  God delivers His people;
7:30       And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.      God appears to Moses in burning bush;  God's angel;  God in the flame of the fire in the bush;
7:31       When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight:  and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,       God's glory seen and he draws near it;  God's voice came to him;  And God said/spoke;
7:32      Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and hte God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.  Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.      And God said/spoke;    God is the "I Am"; God of fathers; God of Abraham; God of Isaac; God of Jacob;  the fear of the Lord; God's glory not able to behold;
7:33       Then said the Lord to him, Put off they shoes from thy feet:  for the place where thou standest is holy ground.      And God said/spoke;  God gives him directive to take off his shoes;  God's ground is holy ground;
7:34      I have seen, I have seen the affliction of My people which is in Egypt, and i have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them.  And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.     God has seen (2);  God's people;  God has heard;  God comes down to deliver them;   God delivers;  I will's of God to send Moses into Egypt;
7:35      the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.      God sent Moses to be ruler and deliverer;  God's angel's hand which prepared bush;
7:36      God used Moses to show signs and wonders;  God brought them out of Egypt;
7:37     This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me, Him shall ye hear;      God is the Lord;  God shall raise up a prophet, like unto Moses, to rule and lead; Christ is this Prophet;  Christ to be heard;
7:38      This is He, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers, who received the lively oracles to give unto us:      Christ is He;  God's angel spoke to Moses in Sinai;  God gave lively oracles;
7:39    God not obeyed;  God turned away from and sought to go back into Egypt;  God's people rebels;
7:42       Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the hosts of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to Me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?      God turns;  God gives His people up to worship false gods;  And God said/spoke;  God's word fulfilled in prophets;  God asks a question; God not offered these offerings and sacrifices rightly during the 40 yeas;
7:43      Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them:  and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.      God declares what they did against Him;  God declares the false gods and worship they did  as His people;  I will's of God to carry them away into Babylon;
7:44       Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as He had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according ot the fashion that he had seen.       God appointed tabernacle of witness in the wilderness;   God gave specific directions to Moses for its building;  God gave Moses vision to see it;
7:45       Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, Whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;      Christ Jesus brought in;   God drove them out before them;
7:46      Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.      God gives favor to him who sought it;  God of Jacob;  God's tabernacle sought;
7:47       But Solomon built Him an house.      God's house built by Solomon;
7:48      Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,    God's Name - the most HIgh;  God dwells not in temples of men;  And God said/spoke;
7:49       Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool:  what house will ye build Me?  saith the Lord:  or what is the place of My rest?   God's throne is heaven;  God's footstool is earth;  God asks question (2);  And God said/spoke;   God asks what house they could build Him;  God's asks what place they could build for Him to rest;  God's rest;
7:50       Hath not My hand made all these things?     God's hands made all;  God asks a question;  God made all things;
7:51        Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart, and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost as your fathers did, so do ye.      God's Holy Ghost resisted;
7:52       Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted?  and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:      Christ Name - Just One;  Christ betrayed and murdered;
7:55       But he, being full of the Holy Ghost looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God.     God's Holy Ghost fills Stephen;  God looked upon by him;  God's glory seen;  Christ Jesus standing at right hand of God;  God's right hand;
7:56       And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.      Christ Name - Son of man; Christ standing;  Christ at the right hand of God;  God's right hand;
7:59       And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.     God called upon by Stephen;  Christ asked to receive his spirit;
7:60      Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.  And when he had said this, he fell asleep.     Christ prayed to;  Christ asked to forgive them of this sin and not lay it to their charge;
Chapter 8
8:1    God's church persecuted and spread abroad;
8:4      Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.     God's people spread abroad;  And God said/spoke;  God's word preached every where;
8:5      Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.     Christ preached;  And God said/spoke;
8:6    God gives Philip power to do miracles;
8:7      God gives power to cast out unclean spirits of those possessed;  God gives power to heal those with palsies, lame;
8:8   God is the source of their great joy;
8:10      This man is the great power of God.    God is great power;  God is not with this man credited with being a man of God;
8:12       But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.    God's kingdom;  God's truths preached by Philip;  God's truths believed on by people;   Christ Name preached and believed on; God's people baptized;
8:13    Then Simon himself believed also:  and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.     Christ believed on and baptized was Simon;  God's miracles and signs done by Philip;
8:14       Now hen the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John.       And God said/spoke;  God's word received by Samaria;
8:15       Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:     God prayed to by apostles for new believes;  God asked to give Holy Ghost upon them;  Holy Ghost to be received;
8:16       (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them:  only they were baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus.)       God the Holy Ghost had not fallen upon them as yet;  Christ Name, Lord Jesus they were baptized in;
8:17        Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.       God the Holy Ghost received;
8:18        And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,       God the Holy Ghost given by laying on of the hands of the apostles;
8:19         Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.        God's the Holy Ghost received by laying on of the hands;
8:20        But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.       God's gift not purchased with money;
8:21        Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter; for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.     God's sight;  God's believer not right in heart;
8:22        Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.       God to be prayed to;  God sought to repent of wickedness;  God sought that forgiveness given of thine heart;
8:24       Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that noen of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.       God to be prayed to;  God asked to be prayed for that these things not come upon him;
8:25       And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gopsel in many villages of the Samaritans.     And God said/spoke;  God's word testified;  God's word preached;  God's gospel preached;
8:26       And the angel of the Lord spake unto PHilip, saying Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.      God's angel gives Philip instruction;  God's angel bids him go;
8:29       Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.     God's Spirit directs him to go and join himself to him in the chariot;   And God said/spoke;
8:30      and heard him read the prophet Isaiah, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?     And God said/spoke;  God's word read;  God's word to be understood;
8:31     God's word to be taught and helped to understand and guided by those that know it;
8:32      The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter, and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:      And God said/spoke;    Christ fulfilled prophecy of Isaiah;  Christ led;  Christ dumb before His accusers;  Christ mouth not opened;  Messianic prophecy;

8:35        Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.     And God said/spoke;    Christ preached;
8:37       And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest.  And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.      Christ to be believed on with all the heart;  Christ to be followed by baptism;  Christ profess and confessed as Jesus Christ, the Son of God;  God's Son;
8:38    Christ followed in the waters of baptism by Philip and eunuch;
8:39        And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip . . . and he went on his way rejoicing.       God's Spirit catches Philip away;   Christ rejoiced in by new convert;
8:40       But Philip was found at Azotus:  and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.       Christ preached by Philip in all the cities;

9:14       And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on Thy Name.     Christ Name called upon;  Christ disciples targeted by Saul & chief priests;

10:45       because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.       God the Holy Ghost was gift from God;   Holy Spirit poured out on them;
10:46       For they heard them speak with tongues, and nagnify God.  Then answered Peter,      God magnified;  God the Holy Ghost causes them to speak in tongues;

11:21       And the hand of the Lord was with them:  and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.        God's hand with them;   God's word believed;    God turned to;
11:23       Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.      God's grace seen;  God' to be cleaved to;
11:24       For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith:  and much people was added unto the Lord.      Holy Ghost fills him;  God's man has great faith;  God added unto His church;
11:26       themselves with the church, and taught much people.  And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.      Christ Word taught;  Christ disciples and followers called Christians;  Christ's church;
11:28      And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit, that there should be great dearth throughout all the world:  which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.      God's Spirit signified prophecy;  God's disciples spoke prophetically of coming dearth;   Omniscient; Omnipresent;
Chapter 12
12:5       Peter therefore was kept in prison:  but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.     God is prayed to by the church for Peter;   God prayed to without ceasing;
12:7         And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison:  and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly.  And his chains fell off from his hands.      God's angel come to Peter;  God's angels light shine in prison;  God's angel smote him on the side;  God's angel raise him up;   And God said/spoke;   God's angel gives him directive to arise up quickly;   God's angel cause the chains to fall off;
12:8       And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals.  And so he did.  And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.      God's angel gives him directive to gird coat and put on shoes;    God's angel obeyed by Peter;   And God said/spoke (2);   God's angel gives him directive to cast on garment and follow him;
12:9       And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.     God's angel followed and went  out;
12:10      When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the entry; which opened to them of his own accord:  and they went out, and passed on through one street, and forthwith the angel departed from him.       God opens the gate;   God's angel departs from him;
12:11      Now, I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent His angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.    God sent His angel;  God's angel; God delivered him out of their hands; God's work of deliverance known by Peter;
12:12      And when he had considered the thing. . . where many were gathered together praying.     God's work considered;   God's people praying;
12:17      But, he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison.     God had brought him out of prison;  God's great work told to them by Peter;
12:23      And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory:  and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.       God's angel smites him;   God not given the glory;
12:24      But the word of God grew and multiplied.      And God said/spoke;   God's word grows and multiplies;
Chapter 13
13:2       As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate Me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.      God ministered unto;  God prayed and fasted before; And God said/spoke;   God the Holy Ghost speaks and directs them;  God called them;   God's men separated for His work;
13:4       So, they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia;       God the Holy Ghost sent them;
13:5       And when they were  at Salanmis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews; and they had also John to their minister.     And God said/spoke;   God's word preached;
13:7      who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.      And God said/spoke;    God's word desired to be heard;
13:9        Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,      God's HOly Ghost fills Paul;
13:10       And said, O full of all subtility and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?     God's right ways;   God's enemies engaged by Paul to overcome and defeat;
13:11      And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season.  And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness,; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.     God's power by Paul to blind him for his sin;  God's hand spoken against him;
13:12      Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.    God believed in because of work done on man to blind him;  God's doctrine astonishes;
13:15      And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.   God's word read and exhorted;  And God said/spoke;
13:16       Men of Israel, and ye that fear God; give audience.      the fear of the Lord;
13:17      The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought He them out of it.      God of people;  God of Israel;   God chose their fathers;  God exalted people when in Egypt; God's arm;  God's high arm brought them out of Egypt;
13:18      And about the time of forty years suffered He their manners in the wilderness.     God suffers their manners in wilderness for forty years;
13:19      And when He had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, He divided their land to them by lot.      God destroyed 7 nations of Canaan;   God divided land to Israel by lots;
13:20      And after that He gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.      God gives them judges for 450 years;
13:21       And afterward they desired a king:  and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.     God gave them a king;  God chose Saul and set him over them;
13:22       And when He had removed him, He raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also HE gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after Mine Own heart, which shall fulfill all My will.      God removed Saul;  God raises up David to be king;  God gave him testimony;  And God said/spoke;  God found David a man after His Own heart;  God's Own heart;  I will's o f God;  God's will to be fulfilled;
13:23      OF this man's seed hath God according to His promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus.     God raised of David's' seed for the promise;   God promises;  Christ is Jesus, the Saviour raised up of David's seed by God;
13:24      When John had first preached before His coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.      Christ coming;
13:25       And as JOhn fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am?  I am not He.  But, behold there cometh one after me, whose shoes of His feet I am not worthy to loose.      Christ servant and forerunner John declares to them, that He is not the Christ;  Christ cometh after John;  Christ feet and shoes;  Christ worthy;
13:26      Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.      the fear of the Lord; And God said/spoke;  Christ the Word of salvation sent to them;
13:27       For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew Him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read, every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning Him.      Christ not known by them; And God said/spoke;   Christ condemned;
13:28       And though they found no cause of death in Him, yet desired they Pilate that He should be slain.       Christ had no cause found that He should be put to death;   Christ slain by them;
13:29       And when they had fulfilled all that was written of Him, they took Him down from the tree, and laid Him in a sepulchre.     Christ prophecy written of Him fulfilled;  And God said/spoke;  Christ taken down from cross;   Christ laid in tomb;
13:30      But God raise Him from the dead:    God raised Christ from the dead;  Christ raised from dead;
13:31       And when He was seen many days of them which came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are HIs witnesses unto the people.     Christ seen many days of people; Christ had those come up with Him from Galilee;  Christ witnesses unto the people were His disciples;
13:33      God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that He hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten Thee.     God fulfilled covenant and promise to Israel;  God raised up Jesus again;  And God said/spoke;   God's Son, Jesus; God begotten Christ;
13:34      And as concerning that He raised Him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, He said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.      God raised Christ up from the dead;  Christ raised from dead;    And God said/spoke;   I will's of God to give them mercies of David;
13:35       Wherefore He saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer Thine HOly One to see corruption.     And God said/spoke;   God's Holy One not to see corruption;  Christ's Name - Holy ONe;
13:36       For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption.     I will's of God;  God's will for David to serve his time and generation for the Lord;
13:37       But, He, Whom God raised again, saw no corruption.     God raised Jesus again;  Christ raised;  Christ sees no corruption;
13:38       Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:      Christ, the man;  Christ preached unto them;  Christ forgives sins;
13:39       And by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.      Christ believed on brings justification form all things;
13:40      which is spoken of in the prophets;     And God said/spoke;   god's prophets warned;
13:41        Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish:  for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.      God's prophets give warning to them;  God does a work in their days;
13:42       that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.      God's word preached to them; And God said/spoke;   God's word sought by men;
13:43       followed Paul and Barnabas:  who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.      God's grace to be continued in;    And God said/spoke;   God's word spoken to the people;
13:44       And the next sabbath day, came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.       God's word to be heard;   And God said/spoke;
13:45       and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.       God's truth preached and taught to people by Paul;   God's word rejected by Jews;  God's word and ways contradicting and blasphemed by them;
13:46       Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you:  but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.      God's word first spoken to Jews;  God's word put away from them;  God's everlasting life found unworthy by them;   God's everlasting life given to the Gentiles;
13:47       For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.     the Lord commanded;   And God said/spoke;  God set them as a light to go to the Gentiles;   God's salvation to go to the ends of the earth;
13:48      And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.     God's word glorified;  And God said/spoke;   God's eternal life given to those ordained to receive it;  God's eternal life believed on;
13:49       And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.     all the region;
13:52      And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.      God's Holy Ghost fills them;  God's disciples filled with joy and Spirit;  God's disciples;
Chapter 14
14:1       And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the  synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.      God's word spoken to great multitude;   And God said/spoke;   God's word believed by Jews and Gentiles;
14:2      But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.      God's word not believed in or on; God's disciples and followers set against;
14:3      Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of His grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.      God's servants speaking boldly of Him; God's grace proclaimed;  God granted signs and wonders to be done by them;  God's miracles; God's power;
14:4      part with the apostles.     Christ's disciples;
14:7       And there they preached the gospel.    God's servants preached God's gospel;   God's good news;
14:9       The same heard Paul speak:  who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,      God's servant Paul speaks the Gospel;  God placed faith in by man to be healed;
14:10      Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet.  And he leaped and walked.      God heals impotent man;   Omnipotence;
14:15       And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things?  We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:      God's servants preach God's truth to these men;  God is living; God to be turned to;  God made heaven, earth, sea and all things; God is Creator;  Omnipotent;
14:16       Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.     God allowed men in times past to walk in their own ways;  God suffered/allowed;
14:17      Nevertheless He left not Himself without witness, in that He did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.      God has a witness of Himself;  God did good;   God gave rain from heaven; God gave fruitful seasons; God cause of hearts filled with food and gladness;
14:19      God's servant persecuted and stoned;
14:20      Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city:      God's disciples;   God raises Paul up;
14:21       And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra;      God's servants preach the Gospel;  God's Gospel, good news; And God said/spoke;   God's disciples teach the people;
14:22       Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.      God's disciples confirmed in the faith;   God's servants exhort them in the faith;  God preached and taught to them;   God's people face much tribulation to enter kingdom of God;   God's kingdom to be entered into;
14:23       And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.       God's church ordains elders;  God's church prays and fasts;   God's chosen commended to the Lord; God believed on;
14:25       And when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down into Attalia:      God's word preached;  God's disciples preach the Word;  And god said/spoke;
14:26       And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.      God's disciples recommended for His work;  God's grace upon them for the work;  God's disciples fulfill the work
14:27       And when they were come and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how He had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.       God's works rehearsed of the church;   God did great things through them; God opened doors of faith to Gentiles;  God's church gathered together;
14:28       And there they abode long time with the disciples.     God's disciples;
