PRAYER EMAIL - JULY 17

 Greetings,
". . . though they shall cry unto Me, I will not hearken unto them."  - Jeremiah 11:11
"Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them:  for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto Me for their trouble."   - Jeremiah 11:14

The great gift of God to His children is prayer.  When one stops to consider the power of prayer throughout Scripture, throughout the age of the church and within many of our own lives we testify, 'Look what the Lord hath done.'   Salvations, healings, miracles, mercies, provisions, and grace are given through one that prays and prevails.  And for a healthy church and Christian life, prayer is as natural as breathing; it is the very fabric of our life.  Time is given daily in hours before Him and with HIm, Scriptures teach us on the power of prayer for daily needs and situations.  And prayer is the weapon of choice against Satan and his rulers and powers.   Truly, for the spiritual man of God, one cannot think of life without prayer.

How much is it then to consider these verses in Jeremiah, where God says, 'Don't pray for them.'   Jeremiah's passion and ministry was for the children of Judah and Jerusalem.  He knew what had happened to Israel.  He knew the blessing of a king and people that prayed and prevailed during the days of Josiah.  But here is God, now decades after Josiah, and evil kings have come in, the people have sinned greatly against the Lord.  And God has sent His prophets to them, to invite them, to warn them what will be, if they don't return to Him.   And they have refused to listen to them and not give ear to them.   And then God says, 'Times up'.  And God instructs Jeremiah, 'pray not for this people at all'; 'and when they cry to Me, I will not hear them.'

For any Christian, church, it is one thing to ask amiss, but it is quite another thing to have your prayer not heard at all.  God refuses to hear some prayers.   This truth is largely not taught, nor believed by far too many in the church today.  The thought streams to humanism out of religion, 'that God hears and answers all prayers.'  When that is not what God says at all in His Word.   What horror must have filled Jeremiah upon this announcement, 'Pray not at all for these people.'   What would be your response, if God told you, concerning that special loved one, that is lost and perishing, 'Cease praying for them; mention them no more to Me.'

There is currently a huge increase in prayer from the remnant, realizing and acknowledging that we are out of time.  And in this moment of urgency, God has stirred up many to seek Him and call upon Him like never before.  And what happens if they fail; what happens if they don't prevail; many are realizing that they may hear God say for our future, 'Pray no more for this nation.'  Are you ready to hear such a thing?

Now for the prayerless, this matters not, for they didn't pray to begin with for the nation, for His kingdom.  Their idea of prayer is 'God bless my family, us four and  no more.'   Their prayers are not spiritual, but solely physical; they are not spiritual, only carnal and humanistic.  They probably have never had a Divine answer to prayer, so it means nothing to them.  But I speak to you, who have wept, fasted, and prayer whole night, you have labored before Him.   You know what an edict from God like this means, it means times up.  Death and destruction are certain, and God, as Ichabod, as departed.  It is worse case scenario for any Christian, who knows the power of prayer.   For it is these moments that God is just in whatever He decides to do, but 'all hope is lost'.   For it will not be grace and mercy extended, but wrath and anger.  Of which , when He sends forth His judgement, men will cry out to Him, the church will probably rally and call for prayer, but it will be too late - 'I will not hear you.'

As horrible as that is, and I fear in my lifetime that it may come, we are not there yet.  God has not called for silence in the prayer closet yet.   but I fear we are close to it.  I stir myself up often, with this scenario, as a catalyst to pray like never before, before this time comes.  I will not get on the other side of His judgement and wish I would have done more, or could have done more through the power of prayer.  I will not have God say, Pray not for this people any more', when I prayed fervently, and desperately enough to shake hell and heaven with my tears, groans and cries.   His glory, His Name sake, His kingdom for He is worthy to receive praise for such prayers and answers to them.   So while we have today, and it is light, pray and work like never before.  For the night cometh, when no man can work, and God will say, 'be silent, cease praying for them now.'

But until then, dear brother and sister, "Give yourself to prayer'; be often in that place, 'where prayer was wont to be made'; and may it be said of you by those that watch and know you, by angels, by demons, 'behold, he/she prayeth'.   For it is in the prayer closet that God's kingdom is advanced; and it is the absence of those in the prayer closet that hell advances.   Choose which you want.

AMERICA'S PRAYER MEETING
This month has been a continual prayer meeting through numerous venues across the nation.  These few days Promise Keepers is assembling in Dallas, TX for a meeting and asking God for a spiritual awakening.  Dai Sup is partnering with them and lead prayer leader for Promise Keepers.   Next week they will all gather in Kansas, at the heart of the nation to have a 2 day prayer meeting for a spiritual awakening.  This is the culmination of the last 6 months of live streams, outreach and prayer for the nation, for God to spare us and save us.

EPIDEMICS:
1.  Drugs/Alcohol -
93,000 deaths in 2020; and 75,000 alcohol related drug deaths = 168,000 deaths.
2.  Children - continued abuse, neglect and damage to this generation from toddler to adults; lostness, and giving over to vices of this world;
3.  LGBT - great affront of this abomination to impact every corner of our society; soon to be assault the church through government means;  a recent article reports that there are 1.6 million in US that identify as such;
4.  Natural Disasters - flooding; wild fires out west; extreme temperatures; a few early tropical systems, quiet for now; volcanos, erupting, but none catastrophic; earthquakes have been extremely quiet for last month, averaging under 100 and none over 7.0 for quite a while;
5.  Pestilence - covid stats increasing with new variant; multiple places and countries seeing surge; other places like Brazil seeing continued death rates spiking;
6.  Great Evil - first 1/2 of July has seen quiet of murder-suicides and mass shootings; I believe it is a lull, as last two days has seen numbers begin again.  But for two weeks, quite a drop in deaths;  police officers have seen 3 killed in July already; no mass murders reported;
7.   Economy - forecasters are touting signs of the coming collapse;  severity remains debating, but how long can it go on;   credit lines cut, inflation, supply and demand lines cut and forecast of more shortages in certain things;  workers and wages are as unclear as anything helping in this collapse; debt is number one issue that only increases;  All that has kept us from Him in our wealth and ease, He will remove shortly.   We will know want as the other nations.
