 Greetings,
"And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?"  Genesis 3:9

Great Questions of the Bible.  How I love them!   And as we transition out of April into May, we come to a defining moment for this year.  One, it is the first 1/3 of the year complete.  Secondly, after Easter and now into warmer weather, routines and schedules change with the on set of spring.  We finish April and begin May, and the Lord comes to us to do a self-examination of our spiritual life and walk with the Lord.  'Where art thou?"

 Are you able to come to this milestone of the year and say, 'It is well with my soul'?   Are you up on your Bible readings, memorizations, studies?   Has the Lord given you a precious promise, passage or inclination into your readings and studies that has greatly spoken to you?  Are those wonderful Divine moments when He does such.   Are you growing and maintaining your prayer life before Him daily?   Are you seeing answered prayers and fruit and growth for His glory and kingdom?  Are you regularly speaking to others about their eternity and their relationship with Christ?  Are you faithful to the church and the struggles of others to help and edify them?  These are questions that we should regularly answer to see where we are in our walk with the Lord.  

In this hour of our nation and the state of the church, it is absolutely necessary that each of us as Christians and the body of Christ stay on the highest alert.  The wave of evil that has flooded our land for decades is bringing us to a crescendo of judgements and a cataclysmic moment.  In September 2019, and the close of that year, we did 2 - 100 Hours of praying.  And after those periods of praying, it was experienced by many that something was on the horizon for our nation of calamity.  Little did we know of the covid crisis.    We went into that time period over the last year, knowing that God was warning of pending judgement.  But not knowing of the certainty of its nature.  That same aurora on the horizon of our near future is present again.  

This is the urgency that has pushed and been lying much on me in my prayer times.  Wrestling with the Lord with what it is and when it is.  But knowing all along, that we have always stood as Abraham.  'Shall I show Abraham, what I am about to do?'  And Abraham stands before the Lord and seeks 50 down to 10 souls to spare those cities.   Where are you?  Are you there before the Lord, for your family, for your city, for our nation, for the church?   

Where art thou?  Are you found faithful, steadfast and persistent?   I find, and know of many in the churches that are haphazard, many are hit and miss; but a rare thing to find a faithful servant.   Did He not say, we are to be loyal?  An echoing back in my mind and heart is Ephesians 6, 'and having done all, stand!'  Are you there?

Where are thou in life?  Are you at the end of your days?  Past threescore and ten, or beyond fourscore?  Now, we know no man knows the day or hours of his life for some it is 80, others it is 28.   But in life, are you ready to depart with those words of the Apostle Paul, 'I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course'.  Are you ready to hear the truth from the Lord, 'in you I am well-pleased'?  or to hear' I have somewhat against you'?   

There are moments and seasons that God stops us and causes us to examine where we are and what we are doing.   May you give time this first of May and answer the question of the Lord, "Where art thou?'

PRAYER TARETS:
1.  Drugs/Alcohol - drug overdose deaths for last year, 2020 go to 81,000 deaths;  previous year was 71,000;  does not include alcohol related deaths which was previously 80,000; and all the destruction and damage with these chains of Satan on addiction; money thrown away on it and time given to it;  much to answer for;  the self-destruction of our nation;  there comes a point of no return with such things;

2.  Children -  abuse, neglect, raised with no knowledge of God, and no fear of the Lord; 

3.  LGBT -  Equality Act which would radically attack churches and Christians that stand on Biblical principles;  it will be our undoing for religious freedom;

4.  Natural Disasters - 6.8 in Japan last night, 4/30; numerous eruptions continue world wide in volcanos; south west in US under extreme drought conditions;  

5.  Plagues -   covid - US, slightly down in cases and deaths, hopeful trends continue with so many getting vaccines;  but the big news and prayer point is India and continues for Brazil.   I stated that I believe India will hit 400,000 - 1/2 million each day of new cases, and with that will come 4,000 to 5,000 daily deaths;  staggering what is happening;  souls, largely Buddhists and Hindu going out into eternity without Christ.  And still the nay sayers with their apathy, who want to dismiss covid due to political and conspiracy issues.   

6.  Great Evil - for the month of April - mass murder - 4; total of 12 for the year;  mass shooting continue upward tick; great evil in their minds and hearts;   Good news that for 2020 suicides decreased to 44,000 per year;   murder-suicides are at 199, ready to hit 200 in the first 120 days of the year; running 1 and 1/2 per day average;  blood defiles the land, God is allowing blood to continue to bring us to ultimate end of wrath and judgement.  All this coupled with 2,200 abortions daily in US;  We cannot expect anything less than full judgement for blood shed on the land.  God will bring us to this place shortly.

--The Activity of God - Matthew;   up through chapter 26, should finish within the week; its taken over a month to do this Gospel;
--A Word blog - Jeremiah 5;  1 -9 - a very powerful section; I have learned much and taught and prayed much from these phrases and passage;  up through 5:11;
--Saturday - live stream was successful; only a few snags, but overall I believe we accomplished much for calling SBC to prayer and churches to houses of prayer;
--Sunday services - Keyser church - 10 AM:  Fox's Hollow - 2 PM and 3 PM;   
--Tuesday evening Bible study- John 5;
--Thursday Hour of Prayer - live stream only;
--Sunday evening pastors praying for community on 1st and 3rd Sundays;  NDP May 6 with community in person gathering and live stream;

CONTINUE IN PRAYER #2 Invite Letter for 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC

 Greetings, "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;" Colossians 4;2 We are just under one month away from our "100 Hours of Prayer for SBC". We are set to gather as many from SBC life to have a continual spirit of prayer for the work of God to be done in us and through us. The work of God does not come about by the means of men, but by prevailing prayer. Oh, that every SBC church, over 40,000 were to be powerhouses of prayer for the kingdom of God. Truly such a spirit of prayer would enrich the church to accomplish much of the kingdoms business around the world.
