Prayer Email - April 8

 Greetings,

"Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?"  Lamentation 3:37

What a great and powerful verse!   A verse that sets in front of us again the importance of everything in our service to Him, and especially our prayers unto Him.  For unless the Lord commands it, not one group, individual can bring it to pass.  It is that which God ordains and speaks from His heavenly throne that brings it to pass.   That phrase in the KJV is numerous throughout Scripture, 'and it came to pass'.   

Now beloved, as we center in on these days of where we are and what is getting ready to come to pass, it is as needful to hear from Him.  For generally, God reveals 'what is getting ready to come to pass'.  And I'm not talking about all the false prophets who said "God told them", and then their words fall to the ground.  I'm talking about those that God speaks to and God refuses to let their words fall to the ground.   We need such a prophet like this today.   For we have ears, but we aren't hearing, we aren't listening.   And either Ichabod has happened, and God isn't speaking; or God is speaking but our ears are so untrained to the voice of God and heaven that we can't hear Him.   This much I know, Christ commanded in Revelation and through the Gospels, 'he that hath ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying'.   Well. . .  we all have ears!

God is Sovereign!   And I want to be before that throne to hear what He is saying for this hour, day and that which is getting ready to come to pass.  "And when the Gospel goes throughout the nations, THEN THE END SHALL BE".   I was told recently that within 8 years, the Gospel shall be throughout the nations.  8 years!!   Do you realize the changes in the next years to bring us to the end of time!   In our lifetime, in our day, (Lord allowing) we shall see the end of the age.   And all that He shall cause to come to pass upon His church, the nations and His creation.   

We seek Him in His Sovereign ways to speak and command that His Holy Spirit come, like Pentecost, upon His church.   A revival like we have never known world wide for His glory.   And yet, He may usher forth severe, cataclysmic judgement and wrath on our nation, for our great evil and abominations.   I know not which!  But I know I am allowed to ask; and ask I shall, day and night, asking for REVIVAL!  And if REVIVAL come to the church, spiritual awakening will happen to the masses.   Rarely does awakening happen, without revival upon the church first.   But God is God! as TW used to tell me.  

So during these days of not knowing what is God is getting ready to come to pass, may we seek Him for what He has taught us.  May we be holy; faithful; and righteous; may His church/bride be exactly what He commanded.   We pray often, the will of the Lord; yet rarely do God's people know the will of the Lord.  I love the petition, 'Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.'  and how is God's will done in heaven?  PERFECTLY!   And that's what we pray and seek now.  Oh, Lord, bring it to pass.  

And all the false fire that many groups and men are promoting, I say simply, 'Who are they, that they say, it is coming to pass, when the Lord commanded it not."    Don't boast of revival and awakening, and baptisms and happenings, when it is not from heaven.  WE already have enough false converts, because they were converted by men, instead of the Spirit.  Men have learned to simulate emotions and happenings to garner for their pride and vanity.   But its not God!  We want a true, authentic, real REVIVAL that is God and God alone.   Command it Lord; and it shall be.    And no matter what men say or do, 'unless God commands, it shall not happen'.  Lord, speak and say the Word! for Your glory Name's sake; say the Word.  Amen

Starting Monday night at 6 PM with welcome and Doug Small and Dave Butts; 7 PM - Loran Livingstone's Central Church will live stream their corporate prayer meeting;  Tuesday from 9 AM (EST) through all day with many prayer ministries focused on our cities to pray over and through and for;   


"A CALL TO PRAY - SBC" - APRIL 24; LIVE STREAM - 9 AM (EST)  - 9 PM; SBC pastors, prayer leaders will bring the Word to all SBC and lead us in prayer;   This is a set time for SBC to cry out to God that we would be houses of prayer and men and women of prayer for this most needful time in history (finishing the task) and for our nation (evil flooding in) and for the church (revival and awakening).   Media promotion to happen on April 14.   We will rapidly, blitz SBC  state conventions, associations, seminaries, and entities to challenge them to be a part of this day of prayer.  Any and all help you can give me will be appreciated.

1.  DRUGS/ALOCHOL
2.  Children;
3.  Plagues - surge world wide and remote places across US in stats of covid;
4.  Natural Disasters - more volcanos erupting - Iceland, St. Vincent island evacuated and eruption;  southwest US extreme drought; northern plains of US accelerating; spring storms bringing tornados, flooding and hail - death and destruction;  earthquakes after hitting record number last month, have declined to minimal numbers in the 60's;
5.  LGBT - states are voting to stop transgenders from destroying high school and college sports; major legal and judicial battle will come out of this;  Equality Act passed in HOuse, Senate to vote;
6.   Great Evil - mass murders hit 5 last month, I don't know that that has ever happened; and we have 2 already in April;  mass shootings are still up and running over 1 per day;  murder-suicides are running upwards of 1 and 1/2 per day; suicides continue record pace;   death and dying is our way of self-destruction and filling the land with blood, which will require God to judge us;

Prayer Email - 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC - III

Greetings, "men ought always to pray, and not to faint."  Luke 18:1  In the last month, we have had a Solemn Assembly for our local churches; followed by '100 Hours of Prayer' for the local churches & many of you, my prayer partners on this prayer email joined us.  And now we come to this last protracted time of prayer, 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC.  God sets His people to pray for His purposes and His will to be done.  And yet, prayer is hard to find among the churches today.  Many know they should pray, but refuse to make time.  Many desire to pray better, but have no teaching on how to pray.  Neither are they around seasoned prayer warriors that can impart what they have learned.  And much of the evil and wickedness of today in our nation, cities and homes, is because, we, as God's people have ceased praying.
