Prayer Email 3/5 - Increase of Evil; Lev. 26

 Greetings,

"But if ye will not hearken unto Me, and will not do all these commandments; . . despise My statutes, . . .abhor my judgements, . . . I will also do this unto you, I will even appoint over you terror, consumption and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart. . . And I will punish you seven times more for your sins.. . . "   Leviticus 26:14 - 18

When you see the judgement on the people and on the land increase, we should certainly know that God's hand is moving forth for His purposes and reasons.  And He sends forth remedial judgements because of the sin of the nation, people and His church.   These are sent to call the people back to Him.  Yet, when they refuse His call to repent and return to Him, then the next wave of judgements proceeds and increases.  

Brethren, in the last weeks, yea, days, the increase has been horrifying.  I have observed natural disasters as one means of God's judgement on the people and land for over a decade.  And the earthquakes twice now have gone over 200 earthquakes, over 4.5 magnitude, in 7 days.    I don't ever remember it happening once, let alone twice in 10 days.     We recently had the 8.1 near New Zealand, which we were long over due for; and God's mercy these major earthquakes hit less populated areas.   These recent increases of God's judgements are foretelling us of what is to come.  And a failure of the church to respond only hastens; but a response from the church may find God's reprieve.   Why would we not seek Him for such?  The signs of the times are upon us and at hand;  response is the absolute necessity of the spiritual leaders today.    

Natural disasters are hitting our nation, one after another.   Flooding in KY, and surrounding areas; drought conditions in south west rising to record extremes.   Also, judgements of God allowing for our land to become a land defiled with blood so that He may bring us to our just end of His wrath against us for our rejecting all these calls to 'return and repent.'   Death, dying and destruction is let lose on our land, homes, streets and within the minds and hearts of men.   Where is the cry of the church?  Where is the voice from the pulpits declaring the whole counsel of God of these things?    This bane existence of the church seeking, like the world, 'to just get back to what was'; is a testimony against us, that we don't know God, HIs ways, or HIs Word.   

Ravenhill said, 'there is a day when mercy is cut off'.  Meaning there is a day to pay the price for our long years of gross abominations and sins against Him.   Without a response from the church that day is rapidly approaching.   And a church that refuses to humble itself and seek Him for what is at hand.   Christ condemns His church, 'You did not know the hour, the time';  'you could read the signs of the weather, but you could not read the signs upon you.'   We have eyes but we don't see;  we have ears, but we don't hear what the Spirit is saying.   How long halt you between two opinions?   If God is our God, then seek Him; and quit relying on the arm of flesh.  Since humanism is our god in the church, God will destroy us with humanism.   Let the spiritual leaders call for the mournings, fasting and prayer that is needed for this hour.  

With these stats increasing of disease, 13 police officers shot and killed thus far this year; mass shooting and murder-suicides running record numbers, God is not with us, but against us.   And He looks for that remnant that will rise up, because they know the hour, they know the signs and they obey.  They go to where the answers are found -- the throne room of God.  They come boldly before Him to seek, to ask and obtain help.    Day and night crying out to Him, 'stay Thy hand O Lord';  "wilt Thou consume us all?'   "In wrath remember mercy".   They weep, they howl, they mourn over the sins of the bride of Christ, over the nations abominations.   They approach Him for help and deliverance.  And God looks and listens.

Already mentioned in above writing, but pay attention to where the increase is happening and occurring:
--13 police officers killed in 9 weeks;  unparalleled;
--8.1 and several 7.0's near New Zealand;  twice in the last 2 weeks the 7 day 4.5 went over 200; never seen this before;
--covid deaths still running at 2000 in US per day; yet we simply dismiss and all is being sought 'to go back to normal';   WE DIDN'T LEARN ANYTHING!
--murder-suicides are already over 100 for this year;  at this rate over 600 for the year;
--mass shootings are still running over 1 per day;
--afflictions, attacks and assaults by the Enemy have come against numerous brothers and sisters in Christ;  great warfare is upon the church;  This requires a great response by God's people to 'pray one for another'.   
--Nigerian children return; possibly because they paid ransom, which may lead to more;  but still impact on Christians;  #IprayforLEAH
--Myanmar church asking for prayer as protest continue and unrest;  
--7,405 people groups still without the Gospel out of over 17,000;   these must be reached;
--Equality Act still being sought to implement;  full warfare against the Church, the Bible and God;  House passed it, awaiting Senate;

--Sunday church services are back to in person and continued live stream;
--bible study is CHANGED to TUESDAY NIGHTS for March;

 Greetings, "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;" Colossians 4;2 We are just under one month away from our "100 Hours of Prayer for SBC". We are set to gather as many from SBC life to have a continual spirit of prayer for the work of God to be done in us and through us. The work of God does not come about by the means of men, but by prevailing prayer. Oh, that every SBC church, over 40,000 were to be powerhouses of prayer for the kingdom of God.
