THE ACTIVITY OF GOD IN THE BIBLE - MATTHEW PART I, CHAPTER 1 - 14;

 The Activity of God

Going through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, phrase by phrase and word by word to give attention to the following:
--the Names of God;
--the word & deeds of God;
--the sayings of God;
--the attributes of God;

Too often the churches weakness and the Christians weakness is found in this one sin, 'we do not know God'.  We have not studied the Bible, nor Him to learn more of Him.  Seeking that this might be a help for myself and others in this pursuit that each of us 'may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.

MATTHEW
Chapter 1
1:1     The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.     God is Jesus Christ; Christ's generations; Christ is son of David, son of Abraham;
1:16     And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, Who is called Christ.     Jesus was born of Mary;   Jesus is called Christ;
1:17       So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.     Christ's generation - 42;
1:18      Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise:  When as His mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.     Christ was born;  Christ's mother was Mary;  Holy Ghost impregnated Mary;
1:20      But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife:  for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.      God's angel appears to Joseph and reveals God's plan;   God instructs him not to fear;   Holy Ghost conceives Christ in Mary;
1:21      And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His Name JESUS:  for HE shall save His people from their sins.      God declares what shall happen and what they shall called Him;  Christ is Son; Christ's Name - JESUS;  Christ shall save His people from sins; God's people;
1:22      Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,     And God said/spoke;   God's prophet;   God fulfills His Word;
1:23      Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His Name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.     Christ born of a virgin;  Christ called Emmanuel;  God's Name - God with us;
1:24     Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:     God's angel had bidden him;
1:25      And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son:  and he called His Name JESUS.     Christ Name - JESUS;  God called His Name;
Chapter 2
2:1      Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king,     Christ was born in Bethlehem of Judea;  God fulfills His prophecy;
2:2      Saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews?  for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him.     Christ is born King of Jews;  Christ's star; Christ is to be worshipped;
2:4     he demanded of them where Christ should be born.     Christ born, fulfillment of prophecy foretold;
2:5    for thus it is written by the prophet,     And God said/spoke;  God speaks through His prophet the birth of Christ;
2:6     And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least, among the princes of Juda:  for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule My people Israel.    God's prophecy fulfilled;  And God said/spoke, God declared it, Omnipresent; Christ is Governor of Israel;  God's people, Israel;
2:8      And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found Him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship Him also.    Christ is young child; Christ found;  Christ to be spoken of, bring me word again;  Christ to be worshipped, come and worship Him, He is worthy;
2:9      till it came and stood over where the young child was.     Christ was the young child;
2:11      And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped Him:  and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto Him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.     Christ is seen with his mother Mary;  Christ is worshipped and they fell down before Him;  Christ is given gifts - presented gold, frankincense, and myrrh;
2:12      And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.      God warns in a dream;
2:13      And when they were departed; behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, adn take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there unto I bring thee word; for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.      God's angel appears;  And God said/spoke;  God appears to him and instructs him;  God gives directive for young child, Christ;  Christ - young child (2);  God reveals Herod's plans to destroy;  Omniscient;   Christ sought to be destroyed by Satan;
2:14     When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:    Christ is young child;  Christ enters into Egypt;
2:15     And was there until the death of Herod:  that it might e fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, OUt of Egypt have I called My Son.     Christ comes out of Egypt;  God's prophet speaks His Word;  And God said/spoke;  Omnipresent; Omniscient;  God calls His Son;  Christ - Son;
2:17      Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the propeht, saying,     God fulfills His Word;  And God said/spoke;   God's prophet, Jeremiah;
2:18    God revealed and is fulfilled what should be;
2:19      But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt.     God's angel;  God's angel appears and gives directive;  God speaks in a dream;
2:20      Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel:  for they are dead which sought the young child's life.    And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to take Christ and mother and return to Israel;   God reveals, Omniscient, that those that sought HIs life is dead;  Christ - young child;
2:21     And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.    Christ - young child;  Christ returns into Israel;
2:22     notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee.    God warns him;
2:23      And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth:  that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, HE shall be called a Nazarene.    Christ dwells in city, Nazareth;  God's word fulfilled;  And God said/spoke;   Christ called Nazarene;   God's prophet foretold;
Chapter 3
3:2     And saying, Repent ye:  for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.     Christ is the kingdom of heaven;
3:3     Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make HIs paths straight.     God's Word fulfilled;  And God said/spoke;  God's prophet foretold of John and Christ;  Christ ways to be prepared;  Christ ways made straight;
3:11      I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance:  but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, Whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:  He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:    Christ cometh after John;  Christ is mightier than John; Christ' shoes worthy;  Christ shall baptize with Holy Ghost;  Christ to baptize with fire;   God is Holy Ghost and baptizes with fire;
3:12     Whose fan is in His hand, and HE will throughly purge His flood, and gather His wheat into the garner; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.      Christ's hand; I will's of God (Christ) to purge His floor;   I will's of God (Christ) to gather His wheat;  Christ wheat; I will's of God (Christ) to burn up chaff with unquenchable fire;
3:13      Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.    Christ comes to be baptized;
3:14      But John forbad Him, saying, I have need to be baptized of Thee, and comest Thou to me?    Christ forbad by John being baptized;   Christ desired to baptize John;  Christ cometh to John;  Christ is questioned;
3:15     And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now:  for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness.  Then he suffered Him.    And God said/spoke;   Christ answered him; Christ directed him what to do;   Christ fulfilled all righteousness;
3:16    And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water:  and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him.     Christ was baptized;   Christ went up straightway out of water;  Christ had Spirit descend upon Him;  God's Spirit descended upon Him like a dove, like lighting;
3:17       And a voice from heaven, saying, This is My Beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased.     And God said/spoke;   God's voice;  God's Beloved Son;   Christ is God's Son;  God well pleased with Christ;
Chapter 4
4:1      Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.     Christ led by Spirit into wilderness to be tempted;  God's Spirit leads Him;
4:2      And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterward an hungred.    Christ fasted 40 days and nights;  Christ was hungered;
4:3     If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.    Christ is tempted by devil;  Christ is the Son of God;
4:4      But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.     And God said/spoke;   Christ answers and says; Christ quotes Word of God; God's mouth speaks God's Word;
4:5      Then the devil taketh Him up into the holy city, and setteth Him on a pinnacle of the temple.     Christ taken up by Satan to holy city;  Christ set upon pinnacle of temple.
4:6      And saith unto Him, If Thou be the Son of God, cast Thyself down:  for it is written, He shall give His angels charge concerning Thee:  and in their hands they shall bear Thee up, lest at any time Thou dash Thy foot against a stone.      Christ spoken to by devil in temptation;  Christ is the Son of God;  Christ tempted to throw Himself down; God gives His angels charge concerning Christ;
4:7      Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.     And God said/spoke (2);  Christ speaks to him;  God is not to be tempted;
4:8     Again, the devil taketh Him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;     Christ taken up by devil into high mountain;  Christ showed all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them;
4:9      And saith unto Him, All these things will I give Thee, if Thou wilt fall down and worship me.    Christ spoken to by Satan;  Christ offered all these things;  Christ asked to fall down and worship Satan;
4:10      Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan:  for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt Thou serve.     And God said/spoke (2);   Christ answers him;  Christ commands him to get hence;  Christ quotes Scripture;  God is to be worshipped and Him only; God is to be only One served;
4:11       Then the devil leaveth Him, and behold, angels came and ministered unto Him.     Christ is left alone by devil;   God's angels ministered unto Him;   Christ ministered unto;
4:12       Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, He departed into Galilee;    Christ heard about John;  Christ departs for Galilee;
4:13     And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Abulon and Nephthalim:     Christ left Nazareth;  Christ came and dwelt in Capernaum;
4:14      That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,      God's prophet foretells God's will and ways;   And God said/spoke;  God fulfills His Word;
4:16      The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.     Christ is great light;  Christ seen;  Christ light is sprung up upon them;
4:17      From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, Repent:  for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.   Christ preaches;   And God said/spoke;   Christ directs them to repent;  Christ is the kingdom of heaven and is at hand;
4:18      And Jesus, waling by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea:  for they were fishers.     Christ walking;  Christ saw Peter and Andrew;
4:19     And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fisher of men.     And God said/spoke;   Christ speaks to them;  Christ to be followed;  I will's of God to make them fishers of men;
4:20      and followed Him      Christ to be followed;
4:21      And going from thence, He saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and He called them.    Christ goes thence; Christ saw James and John;  Christ called them;
4:22     and they followed Him.     Christ followed;
4:23      And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.     Christ went all about Galilee teaching;  Christ teaching and preaching the gospel of the kingdom;   Christ heals all manner of sickness among people;
4:24      And His fame went throughout all Syria:  and they brought unto Him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy and He healed them.      Christ fames spreads;  Christ had sick and demonic brought to Him;  Christ heals them all;
4:25       And there followed Him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.     Christ followed from all over region;
Chapter 5

5:2     And He opened His mouth, and taught them, saying,     And God said/spoke;   Christ opens His mouth;   Christ's mouth speaks;  Christ taught;
5:3 - 5:48 - Christ preaches and teaches;  And God said/spoke;
5:8     Blessed are the pure in heart:  for they shall see God.     God knows the pure in heart;  God to be seen by them;
5:9      Blessed are the peacemakers:  for they shall be called the children of God.     God knows the peacemakers;   God's children shall be called;
5:11      Blessed ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake.      God hears and knows those that revile and persecute His children;  God's sake His children are reviled;
5:16      Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.     God is Father;  God is in heaven;  God to be glorified;  God is Light in us;
5:17      Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets:  I am not come to destroy but to fulfill.       Christ is not come to destroy law or prophets;  Chris tis come to fulfill;
5:18      For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.    And God said/spoke;   Christ declares nothing shall pass from law;  Christ declares all shall be fulfilled;
5:19    Christ declares those that are least in kingdom of heaven;  Christ declares those that are great in kingdom of heaven;
5:20      For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.     And God said/spoke;    Christ declares those that enter into kingdom of heaven;
5:22       But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry . . . but whosoever shall say     And God said/spoke; Christ declares sins of anger and words spoken;
5:26      Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.      And God said/spoke;
5:28       But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.     And God said/spoke;   Christ defines intent of the heart beyond look of the eye in adultery;
5:29 - 30   Christ defines those things that cause us to sin of our members, cut off, lest we perish;
5:32      But I say unto you       Christ defines and condemns divorce, which causes adultery;
5:33      but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:    God requires men to keep and perform their oaths unto Him;
5:34      But I say unto you, Swear not all, neithr by heaven; for it is God's throne:     And God said/spoke;    Christ commands for no swearing;   God's throne is in heaven, and not to be sworn by;
5:35      Nor by the earth; for it is His footstool:  neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.      God's footstool is earth; Christ is King; Christ city is Jerusalem;
5:36 - 37   Christ warns of swearing and speaking falsely;
5:39       But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.   And God said/spoke;   Christ instructs response by His people to attacks;
5:40 - 42     Christ gives instructions to our fellow men's needs;
5:44     But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you:     And God said/spoke;   Christ instructs what to do to enemy;   - love, bless, and pray for them;
5:45      That ye may be the the children of your Father which is in heaven:  for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and ont he good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.    God's children;  God's in heaven;  God makes His sun to rise on good and evil;  God's sun;  God sends rain on just and unjust;
5:46 - 47   Christ asks question (4);

Chapter 6
6:1      otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.    God is Father in heaven;   God rewards or withholds rewards;
6:2     Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.    And God said/spoke;  Christ tells of those that give alms with evil intent of self and pride;
6:4     That thine alms may be in secret:  and thy Father which seeth in secret Himself shall reward thee openly.        God sees alms given in secret;  God rewards them openly;
6:5     Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.     And God said/spoke;   God hears and sees the prayers offered and intent of those prayers;  God rewards men for such things;
6:6       But thou, when thou prayest, either into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to the Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.    Christ instructs prayer in the secret closet;   God the Father, to be prayed unto;  God sees thee in secret; God rewards thee openly;
6:8     Be not ye therefore like unto them:  for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him.     Christ gives warning to not be as heathen in vain repetition;  God the Father;  God knows our needs;  Omniscient; Omnipresent;
6:9      After this manner therefore pray ye:  Our Father which art in heaven.  Hallowed be Thy Name.     Christ gives example of prayer;  God is Father;  God is in heaven;  God's Name is Hallowed (Holy);
6:10      Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.     God's kingdom come;  God's will be done;  I will's of God to be done in earth as in heaven;
6:11     Give us this day our daily bread.     God is provides and giver of daily bread;
6:12      And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.    God is forgiver of sins;
6:13      And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.     God is petitioned to lead out of temptation;  God is asked to deliver from evil;   God's kingdom and power and glory is forever;
6:14      For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:     God is heavenly Father;   I will's of God to forgive;   God forgives trespasses;
6:15      But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive  your trespasses.    God forgives not;   I will's of God to not forgive if we forgive not;
6:16 - 18    Christ gives directions regarding proper fasting;
6:18     That thou appear not unto men to fast but unto thy Father which is in secret:  and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.    God is Father;   God to be fasted before and unto in secret;  God seeth in secret;  God reward openly;
6:19 - 21    Christ instructs about treasures to be laid up;
6:22 - 23    Christ instructs of eye being single to receive light; and those that are in darkness;
6:24      Ye cannot serve God and mammon.     Christ teaches on not be able to serve 2 masters;   God is to be served only;
6:25      Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall at, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.  Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?     And God said/spoke;   Christ directs them to what is most important;   Christ ask a question;
6:26   yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.  Are ye not much better than they?     God is Father in heaven, heavenly;   Christ asks a question;
6:27     Christ asks a question;
6:28   Christ asks a question;
6:29     And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.    And God said/spoke;   Christ compares Solomon to lilies;
6:30     Wherefore, if  God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?     Christ asks a question;   God clothes grass;  God clothes us;
6:31    Christ asks a question (3);
6:32     (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek;) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.     Christ reveals what men seek after;   God is heavenly Father;  God knows our needs in all things;
6:33      But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.      Christ commands priority of God's kingdom first;   God's righteousness; God's kingdom;  Christ gives Divine promise of things added to those that are seeking rightly;
Chapter 7
7:1      Christ details judgement upon men;
7:2     For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged:  and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.     Christ reveals judgement and measure meted out;
7:3    Christ asks a question;
7:4    Christ asks a question;
7:5     Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.      Christ gives directive of moat in eye;
7:6     Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.     Christ forbids holy items to not be given to dogs nor trampled by swine;
7:7     Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find:  knock, and it shall be opened unto you.    Christ gives directive of asking and seeking and knowing;  God shall give, help find and open;
7:8      For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.     Christ gives directive of those that ask, receive; those that seek, find;  and those that knock it is opened;
7:9 - 10     Christ asks a question;
7:11       If ye then, being evil know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?      Christ asks a question;  God is Father;  God is in heaven;  God gives good things to them that ask Him;  God is asked;
7:12     Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:  for this is the law and the prophets.    Christ gives command of our actions to men;   Christ declares law and prophets;
7:13       Enter ye in at the strait gate:  for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction and many there be which go in thereat:    Christ gives directive to enter in at strait gate;  Christ reveals those that enter in wide and broad gate to destruction and that there are many;
7:14      Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.     Christ direct to enter strait gate of the narrow way;  Christ reveals this is everlasting life;  Christ reveals few find it;

7:24      Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:     Christ gives directives to those that hear and do;  And God said/spoke;  Christ speaks;  I will's of God to compare them in this parable of house built upon rock and sand;
7:25     Christ parable of house built on rock;
7:26      And every one that heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:    And God said/spoke;  Christ parable of house built on rock and sand;  Christ sayings heard and not done;
7:27    Christ parable of house built on sand and great was its fall.

7:29       For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.     Christ taught them with authority;  Christ is Authority;
Chapter 8

12:28      but if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.    Christ casts out devils by Spirit of God;  God's Spirit casts out devils;   God's kingdom is come unto you;
12:29    Christ asks a question;
12:30      He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.      Christ is to be with and not against Him;   Christ to be gathered with, and not scattering abroad;
12:31      Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:  but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.     And God said/spoke;    Holy Ghost not to be blasphemed;   God will not forgive blasphemy sin against Holy Ghost;
12:32      And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him, but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.       Christ is Son of man;   Christ spoken against, can be forgiven;   Holy Ghost spoken against, cannot be forgiven;
12:34      Christ asks a question;
12:36      But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement.     And God said/spoke;   Christ gives directive of words spoken and accountability;
12:38      Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answers, saying, Master, we would see a sign from Thee.    Christ spoken to;   Chris tis Master;   Christ sought for a sign;
12:39     But He answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah.     And God said/spoke;  Christ answers and says;   Christ teaches them on signs given and not given;
12:40      For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heat of the earth.      Christ prophesies of His death and resurrection, 3 days and nights; Chris tis Son of man;
12:41      because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, a greater than Jonah is here.     Christ rebukes this generation for their rebellion; Christ praises generation of Nineveh for hearing and obeying Jonah;
12:42     Christ blesses queen of south for seeking wisdom;  Christ condemns generation
12:43 - 44    Christ teaches on unclean spirit;
12:45    Christ condemns this generation for their folly;
12:46     While He yet talked to the people, behold, His mother and His brethren stood without, desiring to speak with Him.     And God said/spoke;   Christ talks to the people;   Christ mother; Christ brethren; Christ desires to be talked with;
12:47      Then one said unto Him, Behold thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with Thee.     Christ spoken to;   Christ mother; Christ brethren;  Christ desired to speak with;
12:49      But He answered and said unto him that told Him, Who is My mother?  and who are My brethren?     And God said/spoke;   Christ answers him;  Christ asks 2 questions;
12:50       For whosoever shall do the will of My Father which is in heaven, the same is My brother, and sister, and mother.     I will's of God to be done;   God the Father is Christ Father; Christ calls them His  brother, sister and mother;
Chapter 13

13:3      And He spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;     And God said/spoke;   Christ teaches them in parables;
13:3 - 8     Christ teaches parable of sower and seed;
13:9      Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.      Christ directs them to hear;
13:10       And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest Thou unto them in parables?      Christ asked a question;  Christ disciples come unto Him;  Christ spoken to; Christ questioned of why speaking parables;
13:11      He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mystery of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is i not given.     Christ answered and said;   And God said/spoke;    Christ explains they are to know the mystery of the kingdom of heaven;
13:12    Christ tells them that he that has, it is shall be given;  and he that has not it shall be taken;
13:13      Therefore speak I to them in parables, because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.     And God said/spoke;    Christ declares they have eyes but cannot see, they have ears but cannot hear;  Christ declares they cannot understand;
13:14     And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear,     Christ quotes Isaiah the prophet;  God's word fulfilled;
13:15       For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed;. . . and should be converted, and I should heal them.     Christ declares their sin in their heart, their ears and their eyes;    Christ declares they should be converted;   Christ should heal them;
13:16      but blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.     Christ blesses their eyes and ears;
13:17       For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see; and have not seen them;       And God said/spoke;    Christ reveals those that desired to see and hear what they are seeing and hearing;
13:18      Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.     Christ directs them to hear the parable of the sower;
13:19 - 23       Christ declares the meaning of the parable of the sower and the seed.
13:24      Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:     Christ puts forth parable unto them;  And God said/spoke;   Christ teaches parable of wheat and tares;

13:34     All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake He not unto them:     And God said/spake (2);   Christ teaches them by parable only;
13:35      That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.     And God said/spoke;   I will's of God, Christ opens HIs mouth in parables;  I will's of God to utter things secret;
13:36      Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house:  and His disciples came unto Him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.      Christ sends away multitude;  Christ went into house;  Christ disciples come unto Him;  Christ asked of parable of tares;
13:37      And He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;    Christ answers and says;   And God said/spoke;
13:41      The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things, that offend, and them which do iniquity.     Chris tis the Son of man; Christ sends forth HIs angels;

13:52      Then said He unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.     And God said/spoke;   Christ instructs on kingdom of heaven;
13:53      And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, He departed thence.     God brings it to pass;  Christ finished parables;  Christ departs;
13:54      And when He was come into His Own country, He taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?     Christ comes into His Own country;  Christ country/home; Christ teaches them; Christ questioned on His wisdom and mighty works;

13:56     And HIs sisters, are they not all with us?  Whence then hath this Man all these things?    Christ questioned;  Christ sisters; Christ Man with all these things;
13:57     And they were offended in Him.  But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in His Own country, and in His Own house.     Christ offended in them;   And God said/spoke;   Christ is Prophet;  Christ without honour in His Own country, in His Own house;
13:58      And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.    Christ did not many mighty works due to  their unbelief;
