WHAT SHALL WE DO? CLOSE OF THE YEAR, BEGINNING OF THE YEAR

 Greetings,
"Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:  Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather. . . Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Thy people, O Lord. . . Then will the Lord be jealous for His land, and pity His people.  Yea, the Lord will answer . . . "  Joel 2:15 - 19

These are unprecedented times, for anything that we have seen or experienced over the last 1/2 century.   Times in history have revealed such moments, that went on for weeks, months; but all of our judgements from God have been generally on 1 day, then recovery; or a short time frame.   But what we have seen this year, has been a long, protracted period of judgements on many fronts, lasting almost the whole year.   From the covid, to the riots, to the protests, to all the other daily judgements on our nation and homes.   And yet, the church, largely trying to deal with everything, has been left bewildered to find a Word or a response.

And those that have spoken through their dreams, visions and prophetic utterances, have been found liars.  False prophets, offering false declarations.    I just came through Jeremiah, where all the false prophets were making their claims in the Name of the Lord.  Only to be found that they had conjured their own thoughts and dreams, and God said they conjured it themselves.  God's judgement on them was severe --'He removed them from the earth".  And in a meeting last week, via Zoom, spiritual and prayer leaders gathered to pray and sense what the Lord may be saying or doing.   And for most of them, it was, is, 'we don't know what to do'.

Now brethren, I have grown weary with all the seemingly "we don't know what to do.'  The Scripture is about as clear as it can be.  And our reluctance to obey, and our unwillingness to hear the truth of our reality is as dangerous as can be.  What is that truth and reality?

We are under severe judgement, we are nearing the end, final judgement as a nation.  That may come as quickly as the new year or next year.   The last two judgements upon us are the following:
--economic utter collapse;  we did not know in 2007 and 2008 how near we was to world wide collapse, but this time it may actually happen.   You can see the set for it even now.
--warfare that will lead to great deaths and destruction upon cities;  This is so close to happening on so many fronts and it will change our lives forever -- China and the escalation; Iran and Israel nearing war over nuclear weapons; and civil war in our own nation;  And if the election is overturned, or Trumpettes, pursue violence to bring it to happen, it will be civil war.   And I cannot see how the other nations, hoping for our demise would not pounce on this opportunity.

Why?   Because we have not done what the above verses in Joel have instructed us to do.   We knew/know how much that we have sinned and provoked the Lord to anger and wrath.  Yet we did not respond faithfully as we should.  And we have begun to experience a greater fury of His wrath upon our land with death and dying and destruction.  But the last that comes is DESOLATION.  I have worked on this a little in the following blog posts:

https://danbiserii.blogspot.com/2020/11/the-progression-of-evil.html

We are not without a knowledge of these things.  But we are without an obedience to these things.  And the moment that you pronounce judgement, punishment, show forth a spirit of sorrow, lamentation, distress and brokenness over our current plight; someone has to jump in and say, 'But the positive side of this. . . "   And any time that is done, it immediately negates the burden of the Lord for what is happening and why it is happening.   It is a dangerous tool of Satan to keep us from responding rightly.   It is the old proxy of Norman Vincent Peale of "Positive Thinking" and it keeps God's people from being broken and contrite.   The great movements of God are found in these things, not positive testimonies or witness.

How should we respond?   With weeping, mourning, and sorrow; tears and crying and with great lamentation for what we are facing and what this is leading us too.   DO NOT let any one lessen the severity of our plight.  Brethren, we are out of time and the urgency of the hour compels us to respond.
Now we have set the Concert of Prayer for a response to come together and respond.  To set forth the truth of our current plight.  Your response, your churches, your pastor and small group of prayer partners are to respond in like fashion as well.   We will have this 1 time event, but what is needed is a continual monthly, bi-monthly, weekly response of coming together to cry out to God.   It needs to be set forth:
What is happening?
Why this is happening?
What should we do as a response?

This will be the theme of this Concert of Prayer; and the 100 Hours of Prayer to follow and take us into the New Year.

Brethren, it is the last times, prepare yourself.   What ever your not doing, that you should be doing, start doing it.  What ever your doing, that you should not be doing, cease and desist immediately.  Abide with HIm, that HE may abide with you;  Draw night unto Him, and He will draw nigh unto you.
