BBTT - DAN BISER MINISTRY PROJECTS 2020 - 2021

 Greetings,

As we have shared, we are in the process of beginning my prayer ministry.  I took the title from our first major prayer conference back in 2007, "Broken Before the Throne - Dan Biser Ministry".  As I continue my responsibilities to the two WV churches, I am seeking to organize this ministry for prayer among the respective groups.   I did these focuses on prayer as an individual; now I will do them under the umbrella of the ministry.  Same goals, different organizer.

Our goal is simple -- 'To make the church, houses of prayer; and to make Christian individuals, men and women of prayer."  Here are the following opportunities that we are setting to help in this:

1.  100 Hours of Prayer to close out the year.   WE have done several of these, and hope to continue in our focus to pray for the nation and the state of the church.  This is a focus for the body of Christ to come together and learn, to 'pray without ceasing'.   We see and know the 'handwriting on the wall' for our nation and the church.  We must have a prevailing spirit of prayer.    WE will set this up shortly and begin to ask you to take a 1/2 hour or full hour.   

2.  Concerts of Prayer - from the days of the first Great Awakening comes this principle set forth to the churches in New England.  And they prevailed.  We have continued this for over a year at our churches.  But the attempt to bring other churches into the same practice has not gone sso well.  Centered around the "100 Hours of Prayer"  we will hope to set an example of a Concert of Prayer for the church.   We are looking right now at the end of December, or into the first part of January for this.   

3.  Broken Before the Throne Prayer Conference - somewhere in the future fo 2021 we will set a full prayer conference again;   It is the practice of these prayer conferences to teach and preach on prayer & to incorporate prayer times of application to learn to pray and to agree in prayer.   

Two things we are hoping to emphasize in our this ministry:
1.  Protracted prayer meetings;
2.  Word centered in our prayer lives;

CONTINUE IN PRAYER #2 Invite Letter for 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC

 Greetings, "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;" Colossians 4;2 We are just under one month away from our "100 Hours of Prayer for SBC". We are set to gather as many from SBC life to have a continual spirit of prayer for the work of God to be done in us and through us. The work of God does not come about by the means of men, but by prevailing prayer. Oh, that every SBC church, over 40,000 were to be powerhouses of prayer for the kingdom of God. Truly such a spirit of prayer would enrich the church to accomplish much of the kingdoms business around the world. Have you ever pondered that all of God's work, in and by the church, has come about when God sets His people to pray.
