A STATE OF URGENCY - PRAYER EMAIL

 Greetings,
"In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote . . . MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. . . . hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this; . . . and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:"  Daniel 5

One holiday has passed, Thanksgiving, and most are beginning their big switch to preparations and plans for the next, Christmas.   Throughout these weeks of November and December, there almost seems to be a realignment of kingdom business for holiday business.  So many churches, go on with plans and promotions to celebrate the holidays.   A reminder from the Lord, once more, 'the hand writing is on the wall.'    I fail to sense the state of urgency upon God's people.   The king of Babylon, knees smote together and feared greatly; yet I do not sense any fear or trepidation by God's people for the sake of our future, or our nation or the state of the church.

When the Egyptians pursued Israel into the Red Sea, it says, God looked down and saw them pursuing His people, and made the wheels fall off the chariots.   And the people exclaimed, 'the Lord is fighting for them, and against us.'    Can we not see that the Lord is fighting against us, as a nation?

Covid is increasing rapidly, death and destruction;  murders and blood shed is continuing in record fashion to fill the land with blood;  every day 2,200 babies are reported to be aborted, more blood;  and blood defile the land before God.   Biden has promised to accelerate the rights and promotions of LGBT and transgender throughout our land.   And the church, 'who knows all this, 'hast not humbled themselves before the Lord.'   WE have had ample warning of destruction for 8 months, and have not responded rightly before Him.   Too much 'wanting to get back to normal'; too much, celebrate our holidays; too much self and me rather than His kingdom come and His will be done.

We have never been in greater judgement and trouble, as we have seen this year, and yet I have not seen nor heard the alarm of urgency of the handwriting on the wall.    Where is the urgency?   Too much 'one and done' mentality on the churches part.   Not enough waiting and laboring before Him, until He blesses and forgives us.   Content to wait upon Him, this must be our place in these days.  There is no other place to go, nothing else to seek, but Him.  Is the church willing and able to do such?  Highly unlikely.   We are very much set in our ways, our agendas, and perhaps this is what God is shaking us lose from.   We will never go back to the same way of life and church again.

If nothing else has come from this covid restrictions, it is this declaration by men:  "we just want to get back to what we did and the way in which we did it".  There has not been much searching to what the Lord was doing and why.  Few have embraced Scripture during these days of the passages that clearly outline, God sends plagues.  God sends this for His purpose.  And so long as the Trumpettes and others continue to shift the covid plague, they will continue to miss God's handwriting on the wall.     These are all things that have happened, but much more is to come.  We must start to discern and hear what the Spirit is saying, to prepare for the new year and what that may mean for the body of Christ.

This has been a huge warning from God from what we have experienced in 2020.  But it has not returned us to the Lord.  Our greatest need is to humble ourselves before Him and be poured out;  like the old song, 'Broken and Spilled Out".   Low in the dirt, may God speak and move and restore us to Pentecostal power in Him.      This will be a witness to the nation; a witness against the lost; and bring glory to His Name.      Our failure to respond rightly, we usher in the next cataclysmic event for the beginning of 2021.   Such warnings, such remedial judgements by God; and His Own people missed it.

Therefore, let us resolve to seek Him.  Let us respond rightly to Him, while there is still time.  Who knows if may stave off, the next judgement of severity?    Yet, our failure to respond and react will certainly seal our fate.   I am resolved to do all that is necessary; and to seek Him, that in 'wrath He would remember mercy."   We must respond!   Fastings, tears, brokenness, and repentance and confession of our great iniquity is absolute must!       Are you doing this?   Is your church doing this?  Are you apart of a small group that is doing this?   You do it; and then ask others to join you to do it.   Time is of the essence.   And we are definitely out of time.
