THE CHURCH - LAMENT & WOE II Samuel 15, 17 & 18; UPDATES; PRAYER TARGETS

Greetings,

"And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot:  and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.. . . "  II Samuel 15:30
". . . The people is hungry, and weary, and thirsty, in the wilderness."  II Samuel 17:29
"And the king was much moved, and went up to the chamber over the gate, and wept:  and as he went, thus he said, O my son, Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! would God I had died for thee, O Absalom, my son, my son!"  II Samuel 18:33

A nation reeling from covid cases and deaths; signs of economic collapse increasing; China flexing its military muscles; homes and streets still in charos, dark, evil and without God.  And where is the church?  What is the voice of the church?  What is the response of the church?

That which is most needed, and has been for decades, is that which came from the above Scriptures of David in II Samuel.
1.  In chapter 15, DAvid is driven from Jerusalem, running for his life, from his son, Absalom.   HE has been betrayed.  Yet, as he goes up the mountain side, he knows why this is happening.  He had sinned and given a great offence against God a few chapters earlier.  And God said, 'out of your own home, shall one rise up against you'.   And there you read that not only he, but also those fleeing with him in great lamentation and weeping as they walked up the hill side.   When a man realizes he is reaping what he had sown.

2.   IN chapter 17, as David, and the people that went with him, continue to run for their lives, to get to safety, this verse gives the description which very much mirrors the church today:  they are hungry, weary and thirsty.   First, comes the hunger and thirst for spiritual things, but because of the weariness of life, men lose heart, focus and priority and then comes the need for physical want, for God has judged them and taken away the availability of food and water, and freedoms.  This may well be our immediate future.  But God in mercy, for the most part, usually gives a reprieve.  But the spiritual always comes first for wanting; then comes the need for the physical.    The physical need is largely caused due to the spiritual.

3.  David receives the news that Absalom is dead, and with great lamenting he cries and bewails his son.  For he knows, his sin set all this into motion.   But it is a lamentation and woe of a father for his wayward son and 'the wages of sin is death'.

Now do we not know that the uncertainty, the rise of evil, the weakness of the church is our fault.  My languishing is that I can look back 20 years and see what was being set into motion, that got us here for our nation and the state of the church.  But what I didn't see was the affects upon us in such evil and how it would materialize before our eyes today.   But all of this came because of our sin, our lack of lamenting before the Lord.  Our focus of prayer withint his email, has been a constant reminder that we are not houses of prayer, and it is hard to find men and women that pray effectively.   Oh, how we should have been much more before Him, for a outpouring of His Spirit upon the church.  We have gone too long without the Holy One from on high, enduing us with power.

Thus, we sought and continue to seek through humanism, man made efforts to build the church, save the nation, make plans and promote agendas.  When all we really need is to get before God and wait upon Him.  And wait upon Him we must; for if we fail to receive His Presence, if He doesn't favor us with His Presence, how can we go any way?  There is only one resolve, 'wait upon God.'  Samson tried to rise and go and fight the Philistines without His Spirit and remember what happened.    The children of ISrael after their rebellion against God with the evil report from the spies on the land, except for Caleb and Joshua, tried to rise up and go and fight the inhabitants of the land; only to be soundly defeated, because God was not with them.   Achan sinned and the children of Israel were defeated and 30 some men lost their lives, because they went without God.  How much more shall we lose, without God?  WE must have YOu, O Lord!

Our nation is lost, our family members are damned, evil is surging in ways that we never would have thought, and the one Answer is God, the church refuses to lament and weep before Him.   Drugs, cancer, LGBT are in almost every family; divorce, wayward children and grandchildren, who can fix such a wicked thing as this?  God!   But we must seek Him, with the earnest, very moving depiction of David for these things that we read in the above Scripture.  OUr sin has cost us, our children have betrayed us, but it is God Who can remedy the nation, the future, and especially His bride.  For the reality is unclear, He may choose not to remedy the nation or our future, but we know His bride is His.   We shall be with Him and the gates of hell will not prevail against His church.   And we have the promise repeated by God, 'if you seek Me, ye shall find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.'

Our weeping, woe and lamentation comes a tthe sound of the death of our loved ones when we know that they were lost men.  OUr weeping and sorrow comes, when we see and hear the increase and acceptance of abominations within our land and even in the churches.   We cry before His throne, seeking His face for favor and help, for the people are hungry for the Word, in need of the water of life and weary with the lies and deception of Satan upon this generation and mankind.   'Give us truth", is what is needed.  And when the Word of God is delivered with the power of God, hunger, thirst and weariness cease and end.   For there is fullness in Him.   Herein is where your priority of prayer should be focused on.   One of my spiritual warfare tactics is found here, "Father, You are Truth; shatter the lies of Satan in Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism and let Your truth be delivered."

Truth over lies; Light over darkness; Savior over sin!    And until I see and know it in fullness upon the nations, upon my family, upon my city, upon my churches, then I will weep and lament for His Divine Presence.   Oh, how we need You Lord.     Brethren, it is this hour that is given to us to do what He has waited for us to do.  Come before His throne, broken and spilled out, needing nothing, but Him.  Coming before Him, in intercessory prayer for the needs of others, for our nation, family and the church.  Coming before Him, because He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think.   Come before His throne, broken.   Thus -- "BROKEN BEFORE THE THRONE"!

NOTE:

1.  Some of you are aware of this, but I post and writ this, to inform those of you that read over these emails.  I am starting that paper work for 'Broken Before the Throne - Dan Biser Ministry".  I should have the paper work done to submit for 501c3.  The accounting part will also be set up and taken care of directly dealing with finances to support me.   I hope to launch January1, 2021.   Next week I will be sending  out another email asking of you to sign on to my prayer partner lists for the ministry.

Some of our future goals:
--100 hours of prayer to close out the year;
--Concert of Prayer weekend in January;
--at some point, a 3 - 7 day Broken Before the Throne prayer conference;
--hopeful to also get printed my work for prayer;

I will try to keep you all updated.  So many of you have so faithful with me, without "ministry".  I just did what the Lord led me to do in all these things.   But there is a reason now, to organize and legalize for the ministry.   If you have any questions you can email me or call me.  I will try to answer as best I can.   blessings!!

2.  In regards to the election in a few days.  We shall see if the Lord gives us a reprieve, or is ready to usher in final judgement on our nation.   Regardless, the church should be very aware of the urgent need to prevail.  Without God, nothing can happen.   A set focus to prevail by church leaders needs to be implemented for this.   Failure will only bring another type of judgement from God upon us.   AS I said 4 years ago, a win by Trump is a moment of reprieve; a Biden win almost assures the churches persecution to be hastened on.   Remembering the final work, 'till all the world shall hear'.
