PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS, THE CHURCH & OUR FUTURE

 Greetings,

"And He changeth the times and the seasons:  He removeth kings, and setteth up kings:  He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:"  Daniel 2:21

If you haven't heard, there is a pretty important election upon us.  The results of this election are ever so important for our near future as well as long term future as a nation and for the church.  There are numerous things to be considered in this election, but most are focused on political elements rather than spiritual purposes.   The one thing I have been absolutely shocked by, is the ramping up of Christian leaders to support Trump.  And all of this comes back to four years ago, it is still the same sentiment, this election is the vote for the lesser of 2 evils.   

I believe firmly in the above verse, God puts people where He wants them.  It is for His purposes, not ours.  Our humanism in the church continues to blind our eyes to this truth.  It's not about what He wants or will's, its about what we want.  We want our freedoms, we want our comfort and ease, we want our prosperity.  And we never stop to ask, 'What is Thy will Lord?'   Well, it may be that the results of this election will make it obvious to His will.  But whether the church accepts it or not, this remains to be seen.  

"The Return", the Prayer march, the days of prayer and fasting leading up to this election has never been seen in our history, as far as I know.  But isn't it amazing that it took us so long to get here, where we should have been all along.  I ask the question again, 'why did it take us so long to respond rightly?'   Looking back, we should have called and implemented such calls for fasting and prayer, solemn assemblies back in 1999, when the horrible mass murder at Columbine happened.  For it was there that seemed to change our nation and the onslaught of evil erupted.   And within these last 20 years, look at the rise of evil that has happened.  IN 20 years, we have reached the EPIDEMIC proportions of God's judgements in all our society.  

Too many are looking to Trump as our help, rather than the Lord.  Curse the humanism, that places our trust and hope in a man, rather than in God.  And perhaps it will take Biden being elected, to get the church to finally look, call, wait and serve the Lord.  We've always believed that we determined our course for the future, rather than being still and knowing what the Lord was doing or allowing.  
--God sent Joseph into Egypt;
--God let them stay there for 400 years;
--God sent Daniel into Babylon;
--God sent Jonah to Nineveh;
--God allowed Apostle Paul to be arrested and sent to Rome;

We fail to seek what the Lord is doing for these times and how we might be a part of His kingdom come and His will to be done.   This much is true, Christ would not support any man that lived, and acted, and implemented anything in political or personal lives choices that was against His Father in heaven.    Its amazing to me how compromising the church and its leaders are for the things of their mind set, rather than His.    God condemns and curses LGBT, as well as abortion as an abomination.  But HE also curses and condemns profanity, perversions, pride, greed and divorce.   And the church for the large part is willing to condemn the one and pardon the other.   But does God blink at one, and condemn the other.  No, God is consistent in His will and ways.   OH, that the church would remember this and return to it.  

God is holy.  God hates sin; God condemns the heathen that embrace the things He hates; 'God is angry with the wicked every day."   Brethren, we are to be such as He is , if we bear the title, Christian.  Christian means to be Christ-like.  God does not compromise nor bless sin; nor should we.  Willing to accept the lesser of two evils, is still accepting evil.   This is something God will not do; it is simply against His nature.  But the American church is not like this.   so instead of us becoming like Christ, we try to make Christ like us.  This is so dangerous in so many ways.  I fear it is taking the American church to a place they will never recover from.  Their witness is forever ruined as they have sought to play compromiser with sin, so long as it fulfills their agendas.     This is something God has never and will never do.  

Yes, I know full well what is at stake in this election.  I simply have resolved myself, that what I do in my secret closet is infinitely more important than being apart of the political process.  If the above verses in Daniel is true, and it is, then my prayers to God, for His will to be done, determines the election results.   My acceptance of that will, places me at one with Him, not in defiance of Him.   If we ever learned anything from Dietrich Bonhoeffer, it was this, as he grappled with the human conception of taking matters into our own hands to determine our future; God's will will be done, for His purposes.  And those purposes and thoughts are higher than our ways.  Do not seek to bring God down to your level, seek to have Him bring you up to His thoughts and ways.     These things are found in the secret closet, in intimacy with Him;  "Speak Lord, Your servant is listening."  

"ARe you afraid of what a Biden win will mean?"  "Don't you know that if you don't vote for Trump, its a vote, for Biden?"   YEs, I have heard and thought much on all these statements and arguments coming from the church.  No, I do not want Biden to win; for I know that their agenda as Democrats is everything that is contrary to God and His Word.  They are godless and exhibit all traits of anti-Christ.  Yet, I also do not desire to see Trump win, for I believe him to be much for self rather the Savior.  Now I hope that I am wrong on this, but all of his immoral, profane ways and statements are an affront to my Lord as well.  Many of the church leaders who are close to him, do not seem worried about this.  I pray I am wrong on this, but I believe that his presbyterian beliefs that he was baby baptized and added to the church is his salvation.  ONly those who know him and have heard and had this discussion with him can answer this better.   I only brings this up, because it again supports our humanism, what we want.  God puts into power and leadership Who HE wants, for His purpose.

What is His purpose?  We, as the church are seeking the following:
1.  Will there be another world wide revival? 
2.  Will God judge and utterly annihilate the US?
3.  What does our future hold?    

The answers to these questions remain to be seen.  But we are seeking the Lord through fasting and prayer for revival, for His kingdom, His bride.  And we know if the church is revived, it causes a spiritual awakening.  This revival will be Word centered for the purpose of refining the church and revealing true salvation in Him or apart from Him.  IT will not be like other revivals, it will be unique, as I believe all revivals are unique by God for their times.   


The US has to be judged, and on our present course, it is nearer than ever.  Although, at 'The Return" there was prayed repentance for our nations and church sins, these were actually confessions.  Repentance is the turning away from sin; and this has not been done by our nation or the church.  The above writings prove we are still very much humanistic and unspiritual.  

Our future:  Know the Scriptures for they teach what is coming and what shall be.   Persecution, trials, tribulations, greater wrath from God in judgements.   Our freedoms will be gone, our conveniences will be gone, we will know want.   We will be targeted as evil; imprisoned, killed, martyred for our faith.  Brethren, what shall I say to this?  REad Foxe's Book of Martyrs and learn how to die for His glory.   We are ever so close to this reality.  For our nation there are two things that remain for our final judgement: war and collapse of economy.  

Why?  'Because we are increased with goods and have need of nothing.'  Not even God.  
Let us seek the Lord and be found of Him for such a time as this!  

A Personal Note:
I shared last week and some have asked me about my ministry change.  For the most part I will continue to do the same things as I have been.  However, the Lord has allowed for me to go longer in the midnight hours, much ground has been gained during these times.   And out of this I have begun to start my personal ministry.  I looked into this years ago when we were doing the 'Broken Before the Throne" conferences.   But I let it fall to the wayside.   But most recently as we have done the 'Call for A Solemn Assemblies" we are reminded that I need to have all these legal and right and accountable parts in place.   WE have filed for the 501c3 status; we should have the bylaws finished and turned in before Thanksgiving and most of my advisory board is set.

3.  LGBT:  Pope comes out to support what God has already condemned;  the fall of nations, people, families and churches to compromise with this abomination is unlike anything seen before in its world wide affront against God;  Romans 1 is coming to pass, right before us.

4.  Natural Disasters:  we finally had our 7.0 earthquake in Alaska, dozens of after shocks over 4.5;  still no 8.0    well over due, this is looking to be cataclysmic when it hits, for I hear it will be in populated area.  Wildfires are old news to news agency, but unparalleled wildfires for CO, CA, and numerous other states in historic, record setting pattern.

5.  Plagues:  covid, cancer, STD's, numerous other onslaughts of health  and mental issues, rampaging through our land, homes;  covid has returned to Europe with a vengeance; US has seen increase, and not a let down.   40, 000 - 50,000 cases per day; in US, and almost 1000 per day;  world wide daily stats is 100,000's of new cases daily, and 5,00 and up deaths per day;   

6.  Great Evil:  homicides continue its deadly track of record setting on our streets and in our homes;  October has seen 6 police officers shot and killed; murder-suicides are back to 1 per day; and mass shootings are at 1 per day;  so far no mass murders this month;  But the record setting trend for this EPIDEMIC has already pushed us to record stat numbers, filled the land furthe rwith violence and blood shed;  it is no doubt, God's allowance so that we might finish our judgement, to reach tipping point of no return.  NO repentance of the blood shed on our land.  "Blood defiles the land".  This battle is spiritual warfare, it is fought and won, before the throne of God, and victory over the minds and hearts of evil, wicked men.   I have failed at this!

Prayer Email - 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC - III

Greetings, "men ought always to pray, and not to faint."  Luke 18:1  In the last month, we have had a Solemn Assembly for our local churches; followed by '100 Hours of Prayer' for the local churches & many of you, my prayer partners on this prayer email joined us.  And now we come to this last protracted time of prayer, 100 Hours of Prayer for SBC.  God sets His people to pray for His purposes and His will to be done.  And yet, prayer is hard to find among the churches today.  Many know they should pray, but refuse to make time.  Many desire to pray better, but have no teaching on how to pray.  Neither are they around seasoned prayer warriors that can impart what they have learned.  And much of the evil and wickedness of today in our nation, cities and homes, is because, we, as God's people have ceased praying.
