EZEKIEL II

 20:11      And I gave them My statutes and shewed them My judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.     God gave them His statutes;  God's statutes;  God's judgements;
20:12       Moreover also I gave them My sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them.      God gave them His sabbaths;  God's sabbaths;   God's sign between them and Him;   God is to be known as Lord;  God sanctifies them;
20:13       But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they walked not in My statutes, and they despised My judgments, which if a man do he shall even live in them; and My sabbaths they greatly polluted:  then I said, I would pour out My fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.     God sees and knows those that rebel against Him;  God's statutes not walked in;  God's judgements despised;   God's sabbaths greatly polluted;  And God said/spoke;  God pour out His fury upon them;  God's fury to consume them;
20:14     But I wrought for My Name's sake, that is should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.     God wrought;  God's Names sake;  God brought them out;
20:15      Yet also I lifted up My hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;    God lifted up His hand to them;  God's hand;  God bring them not into land;   God had given them;
20:16      Because they despised My judgments, and walked not in My statutes, but polluted My sabbaths:  for their heart went after their idols.    God's judgements despised;  God's statutes not walked in;  God's sabbaths polluted;
20:17      Nevertheless Mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.     God's eye spares;  God refrained from destroying them;  God did not make full end of them;
20:18      But I said unto their children in the wilderness, WAlk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:    And God said/spoke;   God directs them to not walk as their fathers did;  God commands them to not observe their judgements;  God commands them to not defile themselves with idols;
20:19      I am the Lord your God; walk in My statutes, and keep My judgments, and do them;    God is the Lord God; God's statutes to be walked in; God's judgements to be kept and done;
20:20      And hallow My sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.     God's sabbaths to be hallowed;  God has sign between Himself and HIs people;  God is to be known as Lord God;
20:21      Notwithstanding the children rebelled against Me:  they walked not in My statutes, neither kept My judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted My sabbaths:  then I said, I would pour out My fury upon them, to accomplish My anger against them in the wilderness.     God is rebelled against by His Own children;  God's statutes not walked in;  God's judgements not kept nor done; God's sabbaths polluted;  And God said/spoke;  God pours out His fury and His anger against them;  God's fury;  God's anger
20:22      Nevertheless I withdrew Mine hand, and wrought for My Name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth.     God withdraws His hand;  God's hand wrought for His Name sake;  God's Name sake;  God's sight He brought them forth;  God brought them forth;
20:23      I lifted up Mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries;     God lifts up His hand against them;  God's hand; God scatters them and disperses them;
20:24      Because they had not executed My judgments, but had despised My statutes, and that polluted My sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.    God's judgements not executed;  God's statutes despised;  God's sabbaths polluted;  God sees and knows their eyes after fathers idols;
20:25      Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;    God gives statutes against them;  God gives judgements to cause them to die;
20:26      And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate to the end that they might know that I am the Lord.     God polluted them;  God sees and knows what they did to their children;  God make them desolate for their abominations; God to be known as the Lord;
20:27      Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; YEt in this your fathers have blasphemed Me, in that they have committed a trespass against Me.     God instructs him to speak to Israel;  And God said/spoke;;  God is blasphemed by them;  God is trespassed against by them;
20:28      For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up Mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices. . . .God brought them into land;  God lifted up His hand to give it to them;  God's hand; God saw and knew what they did against Him;
20:29     Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go?  And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.   And God said/spoke;  God asks them a question;
20:30     Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers?  and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?   And God said/spoke;  God ask a question (2);
20:31    and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel?  As I live, saith the Lord God, I will not be enquired of by you.     God declares what they did to their children; God asks a question;  God enquired of;  And God said/spoke;  God lives; I will's of God to not be enquired of by them;
20:32   God knows what comes into their minds and what they say;
20:33      As I live, saith the Lord God, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you.    God lives;  And God said/spoke;  God's mighty hand;  God's stretched out arm;  God's fury poured out;  I will's of God to rule over them;
20:34      And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.    I will's of God to bring them out from other people;  I will's of God to gather them out of other countries;  God's mighty hand;  God's stretched out arm;  God's poured out fury;
20:35      And I will bring you in the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.     I will's of God to bring them into wilderness;  I will's of God to plead with them;  God's face to their face;
20:36      Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord God.     God pleaded with father;  I will's of God to plead with them;  And God said/spoke;
20:37      And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:    I will's of God to cause to pass under rod;  I wills' of God to bring them into bond of covenant;
20:38      And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against Me:  I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn and they shall not enter into the land of Israel:  and ye shall know that I am the Lord.     I will's of God to purge out rebels;  God transgressed against;  I will's of God to bring them forth out of other countries;  God is to be known as Lord;
20:39      As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord God; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearkened unto Me:  but pollute ye MY holy Name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.      And God said/spoke;  God directs them to go and serve idols if they will not listen to Him;  God not hearkened unto; God's holy Name polluted no more with their gifts from idols;
20:40      For in Mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord God, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve Me:  there will I accept them, and there will I  require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.    God's holy mountains;  And God said/spoke;  God to be served by all;  I will's of God to accept them;  I will's of God to require offering and firstfruits and all holy things unto HIm;
20:41      I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people and gather you out of the countries, wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen.    I will's of God to accept them;  God bring them out from other countries;  God gathers them;  I will's of God to sanctify them;
20:42      And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up Mine hand to give it to your fathers.
God is to be known as Lord;  God bring them into land;  God lifted up His hand to give to their fathers;  God's hand gave it to them;
20:44      And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have wrought with you for My Name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of ISrael, saith the Lord God.      God is to be known as Lord;  God wrought with them for His Name sake;  God's Name sake;  And God said/spoke;
20:45     Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,     God's word comes to him;  And God said/spoke;
20:46    God directs him where and what to say;
20:47      And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee and it shall devour every green tree in thee,      God directs him to speak to forest in south;   God's word to be heard;   And God said/spoke; I will's of God to kindle fire and devour everything;
20:48       And all flesh shall see that I the lord have kindled it:  it shall not be quenched.     God kindled fire;  God declares it shall not be quenched;
20:49      Then said I , Ah Lord God! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?     God spoken to by prophet and rehearses what the people are saying;
Chapter 21
21:1       And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,     God's word comes to him;  And God said/spoke;
21:2    God directs him to prophesy against Israel;
21:3     And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth My sword out of his sheath and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.      And God said/spoke;  God is against them;  I will's of God to draw His sword;  I will's of God to cut them off, righteous and wicked;
21:4      Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked: therefore shall My sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north.   I will's of God to cut off righteous and wicked;  God's sword shall go forth against all;
21:5      That all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn forth My sword out of his sheath:  it shall not return any more.     God is to be known as Lord;  God draws for His sword;   God's sword;
21:6    God directs him to sigh, with bitter sigh;
21:7      And it shall be when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou?   For the tidings; because it cometh:  . . .behold it comteh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord God.     God brings it to pass;  God foretells what they shall ask him;   God's declaration, that it shall come to pass;  And God said/spoke;
21:8       Again the word of the Lord came unto me,s aying,    God's word comes to him;  And God said/spoke;
21:9      Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:      God directs him to prophesy and say;  And God said/spoke;    God's sword is sharpened and furbished;
21:10      it contemneth the rod of My son, as every tree.     God's son;
21:11      And He hath given it to be furbished, that i may be handled:   God gives the sword ot furbished and handled;
21:12      Cry and howl, son of man:  for it shall be upon My people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel:  terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon My people:  smite therefore upon thy thigh.      God directs him to cry, howl and smite upon his thigh;   God's people (2) it shall be upon in terror and death;
21:13      Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even, the rod?  it shall be no more, saith the Lord God.   God asks a question;  God declares no more;  And God said/spoke;
21:14   God directs him what to prophesy and do;
21:15     I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint    God sets sword against them at all gates;   God tells their hearts shall faint
21:16    God directs him what to do;
21:17     I will also smite Mine hands together, and I will cause My fury to rest:  I the Lord have said it.    I wills' of God to smite His hand together;  God's hands;  I will's of God to cause His fury to rest;  God's fury;  God said it;  And God said/spoke;
21:18      The word of the Lord came unto me again, saying,    God's word comes to him;  And God said/spoke;
21:19 - 23    God directs him what to do and God's omniscience and omnipresence reveals what happened;
21:24    Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because I say, that ye are come to remembrance      And God said/spoke;    God declares that their transgressions are remembered, and their sins do appear;   Because God said; they are remembered;
21:26      Thus saith the Lord God; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown:  this shall not be the same:  exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.     And God said/spoke;   God directs for him to remove diadem and take off crown;  God foretells low to be exalted, high to be abased;
21:27      I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it:  and it shall be no more until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.    I will's of God to overturn (3);  God declares it shall be no more until he come;  I will's of God to give it to him;
21:28      And thou, so of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God concerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach,; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn:  for the slaughter. . . . to consume. . .     God directs him to prophesy;  And God said/spoke;   God sends sword to consume them;
21:30      Shall I cause it to return into his sheath?  I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.     God asks a question;  God shall cause it to return;  I will's of God to judge them in their own land;
21:31    And I will pour out Mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of My wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of bruitsh men, and skilful to destroy.    I will's of God to pour out His indignation upon them;  God's indignation;  I will's of God to blow against them the fire of His wrath;   God's wrath;  God delivers them into hands of bruitsh men;
21:32     Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall bei in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered:  for I the Lord have spoken it.     God declares their end;   God has spoken it and it shall come to pass;  And God said/spoke;
Chapter 22
22:1      Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,    God's word comes to him;  And God said/spoke;
22:2     God asks a question;  God declares for him to cause them to know all their abominations;
22:3      Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord God, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself.     God instructs him what to say;  And God said/spoke;   God sees and knows they shed blood, they make idols to defile themselves;
22:4     therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.    God made them a reproach among the heathen and to all countries;
22:5 - 7    God declares their abominations;
22:8     Thou hast despised Mine holy things, and hast profaned My sabbaths.     God's holy things despised;  God's sabbaths profaned;
22:9 - 12    God declares their abominaitons;
22:12     and hast forgotten Me, saith the Lord God.     God is forgotten;  And God said/spoke;
22:13     Behold, therefore I have smitten Mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.     God smites His hands against them for their sins;
22:14      Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee?  I the Lord have spoken it, and will do it.       God asks a question;   God shall dealw ith them;  God has spoken it; I will's of God to do it;  And God said/spoke;
22:15      And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.    I wills' of God to scatter them;  I will's of God to disperse them;  I will's of God to consume them;
22:16     and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.      God is to be known as Lord;
22:17     And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,      God's word comes to him;   And God said/spoke;
22:18     son of man, the house of Israel is to Me become dross:     God declares Israel is dross to Him;
22:19      Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.      And God said/spoke;   I will's of God to gather them in midst of Jerusalem;
22:20      so will I gather you in Mine anger and in My fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.     I will's of God to gather them in His anger and in HIs fury;  God's anger;  God's fury;  I will's of God to leave them and melt them;
22:21      YEa, I will gather you and blow upon you in the fire of My wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst thereof.      I will's of God to gather them and blow upon them in His wrath;  God's wrath;
22:22      so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof:  and ye shall know that I the Lord have poured out My fury upon you.      God declares what shall happen to them;  God is to be known as Lord;  God pours out His fury upon them;
22:23       And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,     God's word comes to him;  And God said/spoke;
22:24      Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.    God instructs him what to say to her;   God sees and knows what they are;
22:26      Her priests have violated My law, and have profaned Mine holy things;  . . . and have hid their eyes from My sabbaths, and i am profaned among them.     God's law violated; God's holy things profaned;  God's sabbaths hid from;  God is profaned among them;
22:27 - 28   God tells what they have done and are doing; Omniscient; Omnipresent;
22:28       and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord God, when the Lord hath not spoken.     And God said/spoke;   God reveals that they lie in HIs Name;  God has not spoken by them;
22:29   God reveals what they have done and are doing;  Omniscient; OMnipresent;
22:30      And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it:  but I found none.     God seeks for man among them;  God looks for man to stand before Him on behalf of land;   God should not destroy it;  God found noen;
22:31      Therefore have I poured out Mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath:  their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord God.     God poured out His indignation upon them;  God's indignation;  God consumed them with fire of His wrath;  God's wrath;   God recompences their way upon Him;   And God said/spoke;
Chapter 23
23:1      the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,    God's word comes to him;  and God said/spoke;
23:2 - 3  God tells of Aholah and Aholibah;
23:4      and they were Mine and and they bare sons and daughters.    Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.     God's possession;   God declares who they are;
23:5      And Ahlah played the harlot when she was Mine;    God's possession of His daughters;
23:9       Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.     God delivered her into their hands;
23:13      Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way.      God sees what they do and how they defile themselves;
23:18     then My mind was alienated from her, like so My mind was alienated from her sister.     God's mind alienated from them (2);
23:22       Therefore O Aholiban, thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;    And God said/spoke;    I will's of God to raise up lovers against her;  God reveals their minds are alienated;  I will's of God to bring against them on every side;
23:24     and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.    I will's of God to set judgement against them;
23:25       And I will set My jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee:   I will's of God to set His jealousy against them;  God details their destruction;
23:27       Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land the land of Egypt     I will's of God to make their lewdness to cease, they shall remember it no more;
23:28      For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them, from whom thy mind is alienated:     And God said/spoke;   I will's of God to deliver them into hand of their enemies;
23:30      I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after teh heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.     I will's of God to bring these judgements against them;  God declares why He will do this because of their sins;
23:31     Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.      God declares He sees and knows their walk against Him;   I will's of God to give her cup into their hand;
23:32     Thus saith the Lord God; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large;     And God said/spoke;    God declares what shallc ome upon them for their sin;
23:34      for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.    And God said/spoke (2);   God decalred their judgement in previous verses and this verse;
23:35       Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast forgotten Me, and cast Me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.     And God said/spoke;   God forgotten;  God cast behind their back;  God speaks HIs judgement against them;
23:36      The Lord said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah?  yea, declare unto them their abominations.    And God said/spoke;   God asks a question;  God directs him to declare their abominations;
23:37   God declares their specific sins;
23:38      MOreover this they have done unto Me:  they have defiled My sanctuary in the same day and have profaned My sabbaths.     God declares what they have done against Him;   God's sanctuary defiled; God's sabbaths profaned;
23:39      For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into My sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of Mine house.    God declares what abomination they did against Him;   God's sanctuary to profane it; God's house sinned against;
23:41      whereupon thou hast set MIne incense and Mine oil.     God's incense and oil used to sin;
23:43     Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?      And God said/spoke;   God asks a question;
23:46      For thus saith the Lord God:  I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.   And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to bring up a company against them;  I will's of God to give them to removed and spoiled by enemy;
23:47    God foretells their destruction;
23:48      Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.     I will's of God to cause lewdness to cease;
23:49       And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols:  and ye shall know that I am the Lord God.     God declares their recompense for their sins;  God is to be known as Lord;
Chapter 24
24:1      the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,     God's word comes to him;  And God said/spoke;
24:2    God directs him what to do;
24:3      And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God:  God directs him what to do in speaking parable;  And God said/spoke;
24:6       Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it !  bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.    And God said/spoke;   God pronounces Woe upon them;
24:8      I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.    God sets the blood upon the rock to be shown;
24:9       Therefore thus saith the Lord God:  Woe to the bloody city!  I will even make the pile for fire great.     And God said/spoke;   God pronounces Woe upon them;  I will's of God to make pile for fire great;
24:13      I have purged thee, and thou wast no purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused My fury to rest upon thee.   God purged them;  God shall not purge them any more;  God cause His fury to rest upon them;  God's fury;
24:14      I the Lord have spoken it:  it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord God.     And God said/spoke (2);   God pronounces what shall come to pass;  I will's of God to do it;  I will's of God to not go back;   I will's of God to not spare;  I will's of God to not repent;
24:15       Also the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,    God's word comes to Him;  And God said/spoke;

32:10     Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish My sword before them; anad they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.      I will's of God to make people amazed at them and kings afraid for them;   God shall brandish His sword before them;  God's sword
32:11     For thus saith the Lord God; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.     And God said/spoke; God foretells them king of Babylon is their undoing;
32:12     By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall. . . and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.      I will's of God to cause them to fall;  God pronounces they are destroyed;
32:13      I will destroy also all the beasts therefrom beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.     I will's of God to destroy all beasts and protect waters;
32:14      Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord God.      I will's of God to make waters deep and run like oil;  And God said/spoke;
32:15      When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the Lord.     God shall make them desolate and destitute;  God shall smite all them ;  God is to be known as Lord;
32:16      This ist he lamentation . . . saith the Lord God.     And God said/spoke;   God declares lamentation upon Egypt;
32:17     It came to pass. . that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,     God causes it to come to pass;   And God said/spoke;   God's word comes to him;
32:18      Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt. . . that go down into the pit.     God commands him to wail for those that go down into the pit of Egypt;
32:19     Whom dost thou pass in beauty?  go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.     God poses a question;  God reveals uncicrumcised and they are down in the pit;
32:20 - 30    God declares all those nations that have gone down into the pit;
32:31      Pharaoh shall see them and shall be comofrted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord God.     God declares Pharaoh's army dead;  And God said/spoke;
32:32      For I have caused My terror in the land of the living. . . saith the Lord God.     God caused HIs terror in the land;  God's terror;  And God said/spoke;
Chapter 33
33:1     Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,     God's word comes to him;  And God said/spoke;
33:2     Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land     God directs him to speak to Israel;  And God said/spoke;  God brings sword upon land;
33:3 - 6     God tells of the watchman;
33:6     but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.     I will's of God to require blood from watchman;
33:7      So thou, OP son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at My mouth, and warn them from Me.      God sets watchman;  God speaks word and he hears it;  God's mouth;  God warns them;
33:8     When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; . . . but his blood will I require at thine hand.      And God said/spoke;  God declares wicked shall die and he is to warn them;  I will's of God tot require blood at his hand;
33:10      Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?     God directs him to speak to ISrael;  God tells them to ask a question;
33:11      Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live:  turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways:  for why will ye die, O house of Israel?     God lives; Please God; God's pleasure not in death of wicked; God's pleasure in wicked turn from evil;  God asks a question;
33:12     Therefore thou son of man, say unto thy children of thy people,     God directs him to speak to Israel;  God calls them his children, instead of His children;
33:13      When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; ; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity all his righteousness shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.     And God said/spoke;  God says to righteous, he shall live;  God sees and knows those that turn form Him and sin;  God pronounces death to him that sinneth;
33:14     Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
And God said/spoke;  God speaks to wicked;   God pronounces deathf or sin;  God sees and knows those that turn to Him and od that which lawful and right;
33:15     he shall surely live, he shall not die.      God sees and knows that they did right;  God speaks that they shall live and not die;
33:16      he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.     God sees and knows what they have done;  God allows for him to live;
33:17      the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal;  but as for them, their way is not equal.    tells him that their way is not equal;
33:18 - 19   God reveals who shall live and who shall die;
33:20      YEt ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal.  O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.      God hears what they say;   God's  ways are equal;  I will's of God to judge them for their ways;
33:21     And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity. . . The city is smitten.     God brings it to pass;   God destroyed the city, as He said;
33:22      Now the hand of the Lord was upon me in the eveing, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning;  and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.      God's hand was upon him;  God opened his mouth;
33:23      Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,     God's word comes to him;  And God said/spoke;
33:24     Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying,    God speaks to him and reveals;   God hears what they say; OMniscient; OMnipresent;
33:25     Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood:  and shall ye possess the land?      God directs him to speak to Israel; And God said/spoke;  God asks a question;  God sees and knows what they do against Him;
33:26     and shall ye possess the land?   God asks a question;  God sees and knows what they do against Him;
33:27     Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is int he open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured; and they that be in the forts and int he caves shall die of the pestilence.     God directs him to speak to them;  And God said/spoke;  God lives;  God shall bring sword pestilence against them;  I will's of God to give their flesh to be devoured;
33:28    For I will lay the land most desolate    I will's of God to make them and land desolate (2);
33:29     Then shall they know that I am the Lord, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.    God is to be known as Lord;  God lays the land desolate because of their abominations; God sees and knows what they have done and speaks against it;
33:30     Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls . . . Come, I pray you, and hear waht is the word that cometh forth from the Lord.     God sees and hears and knows that the people are speaking against His prophet; God's word is come;
33:31      And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as My people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them:  for with their mouth they shew much love but their heart goeth after their covetousness.      God sees what they do;  God reveals what they will do, Omniscient; God's people; God sees and knows their hearts and their response of covetousness;
33:32      for they hear thy words, but they do them not.    God reveals He knoweth what they do and will do; Omniscient, OMnipresent;
33:33     And when this cometh to pass, lo, it will come, then shall they know that  a prophet hath been among them.     God declares it shall come to pass;  God reveals what they shall know, OMniscient;
Chapter 34
34:1      And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,     God's word comes to him;  And God said/spoke;
34:2      Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves!  should not the shepherds feed the flocks?     God commands him to prophesy to shepherds of Israel;  And God said/spoke;  God pronounces Woe upon them;  God asks a question;
34:3 - 5   God tells what the shepherds of Israel have done and not done to His people;
34:6      My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill; yea, My flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.     God's sheep wondered;  God's flock scattered;
34:7     Therefore ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;     God instructs them to hear HIs word;  And God said/spoke;
34:8     As I live, saith the Lord God, surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not My flock;       God lives; And God said/spoke;  God's flock became prey;  God's flock became meat to beast; God's shepherds search not for His flock;  God's flock not sought;  God's flock not fed;
34:9     Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord;    God instructs them to hear His word;  And God said/spoke;
34:10      Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require My flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.      And God said/spoke;  God is against shepherds;  I will's of God to reuqire His flock at their hand;  God's flock; God rebukes shepherds;  I will's of God to deliver His flock from them; God's flock;
34:11     For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I even I, will both search My sheep, and seek them out.      And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to search His sheep and seek them out;  God's sheep;
34:12     so will I seek out My sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.     I will's of God to seek out His sheep; God's sheep;  I will's of God to deliver them out of places they have been scattered;
34:13     And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel     I will's of God to bring them out and gather them from countries;  I will's of God to bring them to their own land and feed them;
34:14     I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel     I will's of God to feed them;
34:15      I will f3eed My flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God.    I will's of God to cause them to lie down;   And God said/spoke;
34:16     I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick:  but I will destroy the fat and the strong:; I will feed them with judgment.    I will's of God to seek lost and bring them again;  I will's of God to bind up broken; I will's of God strengthen sick; I will's of God to destroy fat and strong;  I will's of God to feed them with judgment;
34:17     And as for you, O My flock, thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.    God's flock;  And Good said/spoke;  God judges;
34:18     God asks question (2);   God sees and knows what they have done;
34:19      And as for My flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet;     God's flock;  God sees and reveals what they have done;
34:20      Therefore thus saith the Lord God unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.     And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to judge them;
34:22     Therefore will I save My flock; and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.    I will's of God to save His flock;  God's flock;  I will's of God to judge them;
34:23     And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even My servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.    I will's of God to set up Shepherd;  Christ is Shepherd;  Christ shall feed them; God's servant David; Christ shall be their Shepherd;
34:24    And I the Lord will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spokn it.    I will's of God to be their God;  God's servant Christ, as David;  God spoke it;  And God said/spoke;
34:25    And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land:  and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness    I will's of God to make a covenant of peace with them;  I will's of God to cause evil beasts to cease;  God gives them to dwell safely;
34:26    And I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing;  and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.     I will's of God to make them an dthe places of HIs hill a blessing;  God's hill blessing;  I will's of God to cause showers to come down in season;  God pronounces showers of blessing;
34:27     and shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.     God is to be known as Lord;  God shall break bands of their yoke;  God shall deliver them out of the hand of their enemy;
34:28     And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.      God declares their deliverance and safety;
34:29     And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and tthey shall be nor more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen an y more.    I will's of God to raise up plant of renown for them;
34:30     Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, even the house of ISrael, are My people, saith the lord God.    God is to be known as Lord their God;  God is with them; God's people;  And God said/spoke;
34:31     And ye My flock, the flock of My pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God.     God's flock;  God's pasture;  God is the their God; And God said/spoke;
