 Greetings, ". . . and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.  And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering the fat:  which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces. . . . And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord."   Leviticus 9:23 - 24; 10:1 - 2 REVIVAL OR JUDGEMENT? God declares of His Own self, "I am a Consuming Fire".  And we see the use of fire throughout Scripture in multiple ways.  It is the fire of God that should draw out attention, for it is very significant.  The last 2 verses of Leviticus 9 and the first 2 verses of chapter 10 shows us the contrast of God's fire.  We see in 4 verses, 2 instances of God sending fire in direct contrast.   The first fire comes to receive the sacrifice on the altar unto God.  God's glory was there; 'and the glory of the Lord appeared'.   The secon...
