Greetings, "Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the Lord. . . Why do you such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people. . . if a man sin against the Lord, who shall intreat for him?. . . for the iniquity which he knoweth. . . because he restrained them not." I Samuel 2 & 3 I am in the midst of the "Great Questions of the Bible" and came across these questions and verses earlier this week. The Lord will not leave me alone with these passages. Let us note the questions for our application of prayer times and point out the prayer targets for our personal and corporate use. Question 1 - 'Why do you such things?' Eli knew, had heard, and been told what his sons had been doing in great sins against the Lord and the people.
